It was kind of high in labor costs but they did fix my car in a hurry but did not tell me what was wrong first or gave me an option if I wanted it to be done or not by calling and letting me know the prices. They put a used part in cause it was cheaper but I would of liked a new part to make sure my car ran the best it could. I will update this review if my car takes a turn for the worse. But they make you feel like everything will be fine with their friendly smiles and friendly customer service. You have to book your appointment for your car to be fixed cause they be extra extra busy. Get their early and first of the day to get out early. My car is running but I haven't tried the expressway yet and I will on Monday to be sure my car is definitely fixed. I'm disabled so my money is limited and I think I was charged way too much and wasn't given an option as to if I can afford the repairs or not. That's the only part that bugged me. But so far I'm satisfied with the fix. It don't feel as good as it did before it broke down but I hope that will go away also. I'm trying to trust Tony's auto so far.

I couldn t be more thankful for Tony and the wonderful men working there. I have had a noise in my car for months and my car was riding rough I should have takin in so long ago but had trouble finding a mechanic in Rockford that wasn t trying to rip me off because I m a woman with little to no car knowledge always trying to get me to fix things that were not broken. I thought it was my drivers side wheel bearing so I bought the part and my brakes and rotors took it to Tony the next day I ended up being late (sorry Tony) but he still took my car and turned out it wasn t my drivers side wheel bearing but my axle was broken he stayed after after they were closed on a Saturday (when he didn t have to) so I could go exchange the parts did the axle brakes and rotors AND my back door panels that were falling off. It didn t fix the sound and he told me bring it back this week and they will figure it out. Today I dropped it off at 7:30am before they opened but he was already there he greeted me we chatted about the horrible sound and I picked my smooth, quiet, safe driving car at 4:30pm when I got off work. Him and his team were all very friendly professional and most of all did great work for a very reasonable price. I will only be going to Tony s for as long as I m in this hell hole of a place called Rockford for all my mechanical needs and I know I ll need them again cause I drive a Ford and these are the worst cars. I couldn t be happier with quality, price, and friendliness of everyone there. Tony and his guys are amazing! I have taken my vehicles here for 3 years and have never had a less than stellar experience. I will not take my vehicles to any other place! They do great work, they do it fast, and prices are great! Absolutely 5 stars!

Tony's auto repair is one of those shops that you just don't find anymore. They are family oriented and take care of their customers.The work he performed for me I have no complaints it was timely and Labor cause was within the standard prices.I will definitely go to Tony's auto repair for future repairs.

DO NOT GO THERE!I asked for a diagnostic test on my engine. They indicated that my O2 was the issue for my engine light being on. They asked me to pay $30 . I asked for a quote the owner informed me it would be $70 including labor. Took about 2.5 hours for them to replace the O2. Overcharge me for the price quoted. My engine light is still on.I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Tony s shop is AWESOME! I have now taken all 3 of my vehicles here for service! A Mercedes, a Jaguar and an Impala! His team does great work and is very affordable! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND ANYONE TO BRING THEIR VEHICLES HERE FOR A1 service, very trustworthy and straight forward and always Satisfied!!! Thanks Tony

Showed up at around one to see if they could replace both brake lights, and an oil pressure switch. The mechanic got right to it, and did it in about 15 minutes, if that. Great service!

I've never had a negative experience with Tony's Auto. I've had three cars serviced here in the past five years. They've done quality work on my Cadillac Seville, Ford Taurus, & Saturn SL1. Work done included brake system parts, transmission parts, exhaust system parts, wheel bearing and engine part replacements. Labor is priced very reasonably. The mechanics even show you the prices on the computer screen after searching for the needed parts for the car. Tony and the crew treat customers like family. Tony told me himself that he has been flexible with people that may have a financial hardship, and are unable to pay the full amount for repairs at once. One of the best shops in town!

In 30 years of driving I have NEVER had a worst car repair experience.My cars engine was severely damaged due to a broken timing belt.The belt had been changed by another shop less then 15k before so the news came as a bit of a surprise.The car was towed to Tony's and a replacement engine found and installed.The price seemed low and when I got the car back the quality of the work proved why.The engine vibrated so badly the steering wheel and rear view mirror shook so severely that the images in it were blurry.The power steering pump groaned and shrieked.Neither the heat or A/C worked.The exhaust banged against the car with every application of the throttle or brakes and a check engine light was on and the car reeked of gasoline.When I opened the hood to check the power steering reservoir I found tools strewn all over in the engine compartment.I returned the next day and explained all the issues I found....The owners response "The engine runs. We don't know if the car had the other problems before!"I took the car to another shop and they found....Engine not torqued down on motor mounts correctly causing vibrations.The power steering fluid reservoir was cracked and held in place by zip ties.Heater core and A/C compressor and condenser were damaged.The exhaust was attached in only two places instead of the correct number of five and was moving.It was also rubbing on and melting brake lines.Fuel lines not routed correctly or tightened and was dripping fuel onto hot engine.Engine air filter was missing.I had to spend a additional $2293.00 to have all the mistakes corrected!

Tony's Auto is the place to take your vehicle for routine maintenance or any minor or big issues. Tony, is very knowledgeable and a honest mechanic. I learned he has over 20 years as a mechanic and his prices are fair and his work is guarantied. He has taken care of my car electrical issues and minor mechanic problems so far... Most times, you get your car in and gets done the same day!!

What .you haven't herd of tonys.auto.you better get your car or truck down here if it needs fixing.these guys are good.all three of my cars get fixed here.including my prized cadillac.yeah folks the get er done place
