I have had my cars serviced at TJ Auto for many years. Work is done professionally and at a fair price. Tim and his team are great! A few weeks ago 2 tire sensors $276 tested bad. Today when I had the repair done only 1 sensor $137 needed replacement. A less reputable repair shop would have replaced 1 sensor but charged me for 2. Not TJ Auto. Tim and his team do too notch repairs at a fair price. I highly recommend TJ Auto.

I love these guys! Hands down the best auto shop in town! Great honest people, great honest work! I always drive away feeling good about the work they do, my car loves them! Thanks for your honesty and quality service! My go to auto shop for sure!

My cars love coming in here! And, we love the mechanics! They always take care of us! They also don t try to sell you. If your car needs something, they talk through things with you, but never push you into something you don t need!

Friendly staff. Didn't treat me different because I am female. Answered a lot of questions my salesperson did not when I got this used vehicle a few months ago. TJ's is my go to place!

Just stopped in because of how inviting the website was. Unfortunately, when walked in - I explained that I think my alternator went out, or maybe have electrical problems on my car the response I received was it s to difficult to try to figure out if it s wiring issues, we don t do stuff like that No offer to even look at my car.Which was quite funny because that isn t what their website advertises. 0/10 customer service.

This is my 3rd car to have serviced by TJ s Auto Service. If you want good honest service, TJ s is the place to go. I am so pleased with the kind of experience of my last visit. They are awesome. I totally trust their professionalism. They don t take advantage of me. I brought my care for regular tire rotation, also has a noise. They tested and gave me a possible cause but nothing that needs repair at this point. I know my car is old, but want to keep it running smoothly. Some else will make up a needed repair . They didn t. I trust them with my car a 100%. Everybody is so respectful. I recommend them 100%.Service: Tires

I took my car in for rear brakes. They inspected and fixed them same day and also let me know that I have limited wear left on my front brakes. I'll be back at TJ's to get them fixed soon.

Just got my Honda CR-V 2020 a few weeks ago! Was driving and a Wrench symbol pops up on my dashboard, it also says , Maintenance Due Soon A12. I called in TJ's and Mr. Tim answered the phone courteously. First Timer, so I asked if I need t.o make reservation to get it checked out. he asked me what help do I need. Told him what's going on and he said he is fully booked but I can't drive by and he'll check it for me and see what's going on. I dropped by they are busy, and he looked at it, do some tech stuff, found out oil is at 15% and get me a schedule Monday. I would like to thank TJ"s again for taking the time to take a look at my car, even though you are busy. I.always believe good deeds should always be appreciated. Tim and his crew did an amazing job. I was worried about my car and they were able to get me in quickly and check everything out before my family roadtrip. They are wonderful and put my mind at ease. I recommend them to all! Please come here if you need your car looked at. They are honest and fare with prices and really look out for the little guy unlike the big dealerships around here. Great service, Professional. Tim has a great group of guys working for him. Tim has had this gold standard business since I first took my car to him back in the 70's. He runs an honest business. He will be forthright with you, and never try to sell you a service you don't need. Great Job Tim Keep up the great work. On time and under budget. I brought my vehicle in for an oil change and a tire rotation. TJs finished on time and reasonably priced , the even found a nail in a tire and replaced it and let me keep my vehicle there a few days. I am so pleased with TJ's. They have never let me down. Their prices are reasonable and they work with you. Tim really seems to care about your car and does a wonderful job explaining problems and recommended repairs. Both Peggy and Tim are very nice people. The mechanics are also friendly and hardworking. I am always rest assured that I am in good hands whenever I bring my car in for repairs. The best in Rockford for auto care and exceptional service!

This was my first time to utilize TJ s Auto. My son-in-law swears by them so I took my Saturn in. The diagnosis was not what I hoped for but they were great at regular communication and did a good job on an extensive engine overhaul. I've been going to TJ's for a few years now and will only take my car to them. I feel they are trustworthy, friendly, do a good job and are very professional. They have only told me about things that really needed replacing and don't try to sell you things or run up your bill and explain things about whatever you need to know about. My car's warranty has recently expired so I decided to give TJ's a try for my auto service because I don't like overpaying at the dealer. I had seen TJ's ads on TV for years, and even though it is across town from me, I though it would be worth trying a locally owned business. I was pleasantly surprised by the great service, communication, and follow up I received. I'm 100% satisfied with my experience and I will be back for future automotive care needs.Services: Engine repair, Battery, Oil change

TJ's is the only place my family and I will bring our cars. They are very honest and caring and they have very fair prices. They take care of my vehicle and alert me of concerns when they arise. They do great work and are wonderful people. I highly recommend them to everyone I know.

I went here after my son-in-law had some work done. He was happy with the way things went for him, so I decided to give them a try. A buddy had replaced some suspension items for me, but I needed an alignment after that work. I scheduled for Tuesday but ended up dropping my van off on Sunday night. They managed to get me in and done on Monday, The price was in the range I expected. Overall a really good experience. Honest and fair. They are my new go to place.

Great service. They treat each car as if it were their own. Always given an exact quote of what is needed and what it will cost. These guys are top notch . Get you in and out , and more then fair on $$$ . Customer service is 1 and a million . Family owned and ran kinda place and when I'm there I feel like family. Definitely not your back yard mechanics , they know what there doing . They tackle just about everything and If they cant do what you need there for whatever reason(s) they got someone they know who they'll send you to. The work I've had done there on my car has been above and beyond . Talk to the chief his name is Tim or his grandson Eric and they'll take care of you .

Had my Honda CRV in for complete brake job and grease oil filter. They did an outstanding job, on time, and exactly to the penny of the estimate. I drive my car to Chicago every week and I feel very safe with my new brakes from TJ s.
