If I could give them less than one star, I would Returned an engine that was wrong. Still haven t seen my money back into my bank account yet Keep getting told has been processed and I call my bank. They don t see anything.

If I could give them less than one star, I would. I ordered a rim for my Mercedes C300, and they promised it would not be bent at all, and that it was the correct size ordered. Both were wrong. Now they give a runaround about a refund.DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.

Deposit remember once you put it down you won't get your cash back so just make sure you want to buy whatever it is your buying unless you want a store credit or 30% restock fee.Customer service is great.I bought a transmission and I'm hoping it will last.I will keep you guys updated on my over all experiences. So far they were really helpful and delivered my heavy part to my trans shop so fingers

It was okay, except for the yard mechanics they mangled the transmission lines where it couldn't be reused they broke the shift indicator

Called and talked to a joker named Tom ,very unprofessional and big time attitude .called for a Foglight and was told they have 2 one cheaper because of damaged .He said he won t pull them or let me look at them before so I can see the damage ,then got rude and hung up !! This guy and his miserable attitude is a complete joke

I purchased an engine for a dodge caravan last October. It started right up and ran perfect. 6 months later and it is still running perfect and quiet. Good experience and reasonable price! It was well worth the hour and a half drive and I won't mind doing it again

Great service! I got a new engine for my Toyota Camry 2007 and it was in mint condition and such a good price! My old engine was destroyed because my oil burned too quickly. This engine works wonderfully and I was so impressed with the customer service. They made it so quick and easy! Now i have a place to pick up good, cheap parts to fix my cars which is such a struggle in Rockford.

Stay far away from this rip off company!! My transmission was failing and they quoted me 1050 for a transmission 700 for the transmission 350 for labour well this is my fault I didn't have it in writing and when I paid the final bill it came out to 1850 I did put 450 down so I was charged on my card 1400 wow and to top everything off my transmission wasn't leaking when I brought it in but after they installed their transmission I get it home and it's leaking they now tell me my transmission lines are no good and they want a extra 400 to replace them nope it's definitely not going to happen!! They just lost a customer for life and hopefully I can save someone else from this kind of nightmare!!!

My 2009 Chevy Equinox needed a new motor so I was referred to Rockford Auto Parts. They had the good customer service and I received my part soon after I ordered it. I recommend Rockford Auto Parts to anyone looking for car parts.

I was looking for something specific and had almost given up. They were going to be my last call; win, lose or draw. Thankfully it was a win. The counter service was great. Got the part brought up from back, rang the sale and I was on my way. It is a clean and well kept facility but nothing could beat the staff. Great job. They'll be my first call from now on and I live an hour away. Worth the drive.

Called ahead! Asked for a specific battery. 05 grand prix. They say yes they have it. So i drive 25 minutes to get it. I get there and i get thrown into a room where all i can do is look for the best fit. None are marked. None. So i get dudes "best guess" well it didn't fit. $54. So i go to return it to just buy a brand new battery. They ONLY do store credit all of a sudden. When i asked what the return policy was. The guy said i had to have my receipt. Implying that as long as i had that i could get my money back. The manager was just as rude. Bc i "demanded" my money back he told me to just take the credit and leave his store. There are so many other auto parts store. Don't go here

Sold a bad transmission. Will not refund . Store credit only. Will be reporting to the better business bureau. What I stated is totally accurate. You sold a transmission that you told us had 100k on it but according to your paperwork had 130k on it . It was also bad and took twice as long to deliver as you had originally stated. Why would I want to continue to do business with you?

Got a nice front subframe for my focus zx3. old one was cracked in half as they like to do over time so it was awesome to give my little $400 car a new lease on life AND they threw in a freebie. Ended up getting the rubber isolated trans mount included which was much needed. I'm writing this two years later and the zx3 is still going strong. I'm still glad I was able to find what I needed for cheap so close.

If you are brave enough to take a chance on these guys (cheats or thieves might be the better description ) be careful and make sure you get the right part, because if THEY sell you the wrong part and don't have the right part for you they will not refund your money, they will offer a store credit. Let me tell you that a paper store credit does not fit in your car and make it run. A store credit means now you don't have the cash you need to go elsewhere to get the part you need to get your car running. So.. I would not recommend them at all I give them zero stars!

I was looking for a motor, talk to Mike about a engine, gave him all of my information for payment. After leaving numerous messages Mike calls me back 5 days after and tells me he had sold the motor to someone else. I was under the impression that I had purchased the motor, since he took down all my payment information. I'm very unsatified with the way in I couldn't get a return call after leaving messages, waiting for them to call back, and to find out it was sold, was very disappointing.Terrible customer service.

I will do more business with Rockford Auto Parts in the future. I bought a motor for my car and had it installed. They were very professional. I was extremely impressed with the quality of the motor and they were more than courteous.The prices were good and fair.

I've taken two cars to them now and they always fix the problem quickly. Very knowledgable, nice, and easy to work with. Overall I have had great experiences and will continue to go here.

I gave a deposit for a part that they turned out not to have. It seems like they tried reasonably to get the part, and I even agreed to pay more, but they dropped the ball a couple times and eventually I just asked for but deposit back. I asked Rick in parts about getting my deposit back 5 different times and Rick said he would get it taken care of 5 times, but months later I'm still waiting. Moral of the story is DO NOT GIVE THEM A DEPOSIT

Ordered a Hyundai Elantra rim (15 inch) directly from the Rockford Auto Parts website (not EBay). Rockford Auto Parts immediately took out my money from PayPal and sent me an email saying that the order was being processed.However, when I went to Rockford Auto Parts in person, they could not find the order. After leaving several unanswered messages to customer service and writing several emails, I contested the order through PayPal. (In which Rockford Auto parts never responded to PayPal s request either).Finally, on the last day before PayPal was going to escalate, I stopped by and they quickly sent someone to a back room to retrieve a rim.Thinking my troubles where over, I took the rim to Oscar s tire service and they told me the rim from Rockford Auto Parts was bent and unusable.I feel like I have been scammed. If you are looking for auto parts, don t come here.

I was told everything would be included bulbs working and all but when I got there I paid 80.00 and still had to buy all new bulbs, when I went on Amazon same piece was 77.00 with bulbs brand new. The part look like itwas in good condition but once I got it put in, the dashboard light is telling me it doesn't work.

Purchased a used transaxle for a Dodge Intrepid. The part listing was accurate and informative giving the mileage, pictures of the actual part, and the donor vin#, and even a pic of the donor car. The staff were friendly and very knowledgable, and pick up of the part was efficient and hassle free. The part had been carefully removed with wiring harness included and uncut, torque converter was secured with a strap, and dipstick and tube were undamaged. Needless to say the part worked perfectly, and was priced very competitively.
