was in Rockford from out of town and my car was leaking coolant and overheating. I called Midas to see if they could possibly work me in today and the manager said sure. so, I had my car towed there. they gave me an estimate and had me back on the road home in a couple hours. it was actually cheaper than we had discussed. Honest work and great service. I will return if the need arises again.

Brought my truck in with a soft brake pedal. Ran the computer and came back as bad abs module. Was quoted a pretty penny. After they actually started doing they work turns out it was some bad wiring. Very honest about the situation and payed much less than and my truck is running great. Honest and trustworthy people. Five stars!

I wouldn't take a car out ther for inspection. I called the guy on the phone was telling g me he. Couldn't give me a price quote for a brake job without me bringing in for inspection. so I decided to bring it in. I left it there they called me and said it was going to to be around 1800 for that and my cabin air filter. So I said I'm not gonna do it for now the guy then tells me it's going to be 49.99 for the inspection. When I spoke to him on the phone he didn't mention an inspector fee. So when I got the untold him howcome you never mentioned an inspection fee. Or when I walked In. So if you ever do call for qout an anything make sure to ask if there's an inspection fee. I my self never coming back there again.

Very honest mechanics. Needed my brakes done in my 2000 civic. They showed me everything that needed to be repaired and then had the work done in 45 minutes. Honest, trustworthy mechanics. They fixed my exhaust for less than $150 when another shop down the road wanted to charge over $1k for things that didn't need to be fixed. Glad I got a second opinion from Midas! My whole family comes here and we always receive quality work!

The guy up front worked at a Honda dealer for a long time. If you have a Honda, you WANT to go to this Midas, if you aren t going to the dealer (like me) I am a woman, he never makes me feel less than, or stupid. I really appreciate it. He just tells you like it is. Never been disappointed here.

If i could leave zero stars i would horrible customer service as my husband had to tow our car twice because of faulty work and overly priced work. I do not understand how my car stops working right after i leave everytime. I dont even get to broadway.

Good customer service friendly staff happy with the repair on car they offer many different services I will b going back for my brakes and oil change they were a little short staffed and still got me out in a timely manner

Stopped by for an oil change, I had spent the whole day calling everywhere to try and find a good place to get repair work. Was expecting to get treated meh-ly. Did not happen, everyone and I mean everyone was super friendly and knowledgeable about thier jobs, didn t mind explaining things in way that made me feel confident and not belittled, definelty recommend on character alone! Defiantly great guys!

3 years into going here, I've always had the best experience. This team always makes sure that I'm well taken care of. My car has had a lot of factory issues and they made it so I didn't have to stop my life day-to-day because of these problems. New manager, Tim, is an absolute customer service savant. He was willing to work with me in ways most shops won't, willingly offering to stay an hour after close to allow me to get an emergency service moments before having to leave town. Top tier midas service location. Tim, we appreciate you, brother.

Will definitely come back. The man at the front desk seemed all business, but I was in for a pleasant surprise. He was very personable and seemed to find a way to talk to each client. Even if it wasn't much, it was the effort he took. They did my oil change, tire rotation and alignment done in the timeframe told to me. The work was great! If u take your vehicle here u will not be let down. Great customer service and fantastic work. I highly recommend them!!!

I could feel my brakes were going out and I chose Midas because of the ease scheduling my appointment on line for day I needed the work done. (Sat morning). All the guys were friendly and very helpful. I was in and out of there in a couple ofhours with my brakes working perfectly. I will return to this place.Service: Brakes

The Midas guys are very thorough and inspect your car from top to bottom. They don't pressure you to repair anything, they just report it if they see something is amiss (and they give you a full written report of all items checked as well!) Then you can decide whether or not to fix it there at Midas or fix it yourself. If you say "I'll fix that later", they say "OK" cheerfully with no pressure whatsoever. All of the guys were very nice and accommodating and treated me with respect. The office/waiting area has windows so that you can see your car while they work on it. They don't do any work without first giving you a quote for the cost involved. It's nice to be able to go to get your car fixed and know it's fixed right!Services: Auto battery replacement, Vehicle Inspection, Oil change

On June 21 I had the experience of spending most of my day at midas having a old 2006 town and country van with 226,000 miles that I got from the auction being serviced here at this location these were a few of my observations. 1st you're greeted by Judy when you come in and she's very pleasant friendly and professional with customers in person as well as on the phone. I arrived at 9 am with no appt and no ride to bring me back home on what was a very busy day for them. The mechanic Carlos initially stopped working on the car he was servicing to see if he could get the electronic fans to come on in my van since they had put a new radiator in it and the fans stopped working a couple days later. After working on my van for over a hr he needed to go back and finish the car he had been working on. He showed me the problem was a heavy build up of corrosion in what's called a integrated power module or I'm which can prevent good contact between the box and electrical connectors. That layman's description does not do justice to the time effort energy this gentleman put into working on my van while repairing a total of 3 other vehicles. He was relentless with his determination at the same time the other mechanic displayed the same work ethic doing a wheel alignment 3 times on the same car because he just wasn't satisfied. All total I think they repaired a total of 6 cars. I got to see them interact with some of their customer base and everyone was treated like they were family or friends and they were all repeat customers. In the end I was not even charged for all of Carlos hard work, determination and work ethic because it's not something you can warranty. Well it was priceless to me. I even tried to give Carlos $100 bucks on the side but he wouldn't take it. I know I was long winded but words can not adequately describe what I witnessed and experienced.

We had a rear brake line blow out while traveling and we stopped here to repair it. They got us in right away and did a great job fixing it up. While we waited, we got to talk to the gentleman in the office who was so friendly and wonderful. We had some great conversation with him and before we knew it our truck was fixed in no time! I am thoroughly impressed with the service I received here! Walked in after 4:30 pm needing all four brake pads and rotors. Not only did Midas beat the price from the dealer by a substantial amount, but they had the job done before closing whereas the dealer told me they didn't think they could get the work done same day. I'll be using this shop again for service on my vehicles!

Not only is the Good Looking Guy named Rick an amazing example of what good customer service looks like, he is a prime example of what proper leadership can do for a business when done successfully. It is clear that he loves his job and cares for his customers in not only a professional manner, but on a personal and relatable manner as well. He is friendly, efficient, and very well spoken. Thank you for making all 3 of my visits this year to your establishment memorable, stress relieving and positive ones. You have my business going forward and that of my families as well.Awesome job!

First off I want to say the friendliness and professionalism at this location is the best. Mike at the front desk has expert knowledge and let s you know anything / everything you need. He talked to me while I was getting my work done and he said I didn t even need brakes and let me say they WILL NOT charge you for work you don t need. Most places would of told me needed them when I didn t. Cheapest prices around too. Definitely will be returning for regular maintenance on my vehicle. I ll recommend them to everyone I know that needs work done.

Been taking my car to a midas for years and never had a single issue until this location.Brought my car in for a tire rotation back in February and they couldn't find the lock key, they told me to order a new one and to come back since I had paid for it. So the next day I ordered a new set from McGard and went back a week later to get them rotated, they didn't give me a receipt but they said all is good; so I thought..I come back this past weekend and the brand new lock key I bought is damaged already - completely unusable. Over the phone they tried to tell me it was old and doesn't even fit my car, that it's an aftermarket and no wonder it broke, but in person it's now just "too damaged" and they don't understand how it could break. When I pressed them for an explanation for the broken key they didn't want to take responsibility because they didn't have record of me coming back for my tire rotation, even though the person who picked up my car from that service was present. Figures.Well then if you don't have record of me receiving my tire rotation then I want a refund for the service I "never got".Service: Tires

They do half honest work. They'll fix what's wrong n say something else needs fixed when it doesn't. They also belittle their new employee(s) when the gentleman asked a question to make sure he was doing things right the mechanic he was asking acted like he was dumb. It's not wrong to ask for reassurance. And its not a good place. Maybe if you have no where else to go but I came in today and handed the person at the front desk the coupon I got and he didn't even read it before he threw it back at me and said we don't accept these.. after that he read it and said "oh we do accept that" I just laughed at his disrespect. Definitely the last time I get the "Midas touch"

I was driving from Wisconsin to Virginia with my children, one a toddler, and my brakes went out the Friday before labor day. Without any wait they helped me, they showed me just what was wrong, since just 5 days before I had work done on my car and 2 months ago I had my brakes done... They explained what they were doing, what had happened to my brakes, gave me an extremely fair rate and got me back on the road safely and quickly. I have to make the drive between DC and Wisconsin often and will always stop at this location to have an inspection before getting back on the road to return to DC. 10/10, and that doesn't even include how patient they were with a toddler in their waiting area!

Went here to get my exhaust fixed. They wasted no time in getting my car up on the lift and bringing me out to show me the problems rather than try to explain it to me. Another customer was there to get his hatch-back fixed after another shop quoted him 800 instead of 200 that Midas charged. Overall the experience was very professional. They even told me I needed a new battery (which I knew I did but already had one back home) but I told him I didn t need it and didn t try to push the purchase on me. They understood what I was there to get done and they did it with no haggle or terminology I couldn t understand.Cory Boston
