Yesterday my ford escape tire sensors went off on the way to school, where I have to be on time and present. I panicked, went in to Grease Monkey on State Street and was greeted by the store manager at 7:45am. Mind you, they do not open till 8am. He took care of me like I was family. I can change my own tire and do oil changes, but it was 17� out and I was in a hurry. Dropped off my car and left my name and number. The manager let me know what happend and sent me a picture of the HUGE nail in my tire. He switched it out for the spare and did not pressure me into purchasing, but gently informed me of their prices and payment plans. So even though we did not purchase, I will be back because of his kindness. Thank you!!

Will never visit this location again, the young man was very rude, no customer service, did not provide me any education when asking about the different oils and/or any promotions when I asked him. He acted as if I was getting on his nerves when halfway replying to my questions. The worst service I have ever experienced.***UPDATE***Store Manager John called me immediately and had me bring my car back rechecked everything and assured me great service going forward! Thanks John!!!!

Have to appreciate the efficiency I mean I only came in for an oil change and these 2 guys were on it! Also it's a fleet vehicle usually waiting for authorization for any kind of maintenance is a prolonged wait not here not today aprproval within seconds have to also appreciate the optimism, also very respectful short sweet and to the point thank you for your service!!!!

Went there from Advance Auto parts store because I had a check engine light on. They recommended them as they did work on vehicles. I wanted to find out the cost of getting it fixed there and how long it would take, the price for labor is high at $162 but it only took an hour. The mechanic pointed out things that could be fixed to fix the problem and also mentioned some things that could be fixed later but might also become and issue. I didn't feel like he was trying to be dishonest. I am not upset with the work it is an older car with high mileage so I suppose my car needs a little patching and spoiling.

I'll never return. The service was incredibly slow..We waited 90 minutes or more for just an oil change and tire rotation...The mechanics walked around slowly, like they didn't have a care in the world...It was freezing in the waiting room, the bathroom was disgusting--just a roll of toilet paper not even in a dispenser, no soap, just filthy...You can tell the place is run by men, who are slobs...And AND....We didn't get a dis out on our visit!!! It was advertised on a sign outside that there was a 20% discount that day...Nope, we never received it...Grease Monkey is not a place I'd go to again...0 stars...

Wonderful establishment. Lovely staff. Dedicated, kind, thorough general manager!!!! Honestly if I was in this line of work, I d apply immediately!! I loved seeing how he interacted with the staff and I had to compliment him on his joyful demeanor despite me being the last customer of the day!!! These guys have outstanding Leader ship & it shows! Very informative, HONEST, team!

I ve been going to grease monkey now for the past year and the service has been nothing short of great! Luis is one of the best employees there and explains clearly the recommendations needed on my vehicle if needed. I will continue to go there just because of him. Thank you Grease Monkey for your excellent service.

My friend and I were having issues with the emergency brake of our car, luckily the guys at grease monkey are awesome! They pulled it in and fixed it quickly. So helpful and friendly!

Visited in fall 2023 for an oil change. I got a good vibe from the person helping me (Joe? John?). He took time to explain his recommendations and let me ask questions without pressuring me to make a decision. Car service and maintenance is not my area of experience so I like to be able to gather all the information and do my research before making a decision. I hate the constant upsell that takes place more often than not at car service stations. Also, in my experience it seems the (almost always) men who work here treat me different as a woman. After two not-negative experiences here (I also had my battery replaced a few months after my oil change) I decided to return for my next oil change. Completely different experience. Before I even finished explaining the reason for my visit the service employee cut me off to try to sell me another service ( ). He hadn t even LOOKED at my car yet. I was still sitting in it. That immediately put me off but the thought of having to seek out another place was annoying so I decided to stay. Within two minutes he was back asking about the upsell. I explained that I just wanted the same service I had last time and I would research this other service and come back if I decided to do it. Two minutes later he was back to tell me they were out of the standard oil filters and I d have to go with the premium if I wanted this taken care of. With my four year old next to me and work waiting for me at home I gritted my teeth and agreed. Maybe they really had just run out of filters, but this employees entire attitude and approach toward customer service made it seem extremely suspension and scammy. I will not be returning.

A big NO for this guys.2nd time in row they failed to fulfill my request.The last time (today) they totally forgot to add my engine additive.They are vaping inside of shop and didn t pay attention at all to client s request.

This place is something else. Usually, I have to deal with rude and impatient employers due to my deafness. But no, not at this place. They were willing to write down and be patient with my questions. They did an oil change on my car, told me about a couple of other things I needed done. It was in and out. They can definitely change my oil anytime, anyday. Will be coming back again.

The two technicians were very efficient. Had an oil change, tires were pressure checked, other fluids were topped off. In and out in 20 minutes.

Stop through to get an oil change on a long road trip. They were very thorough, friendly, and quick. Also, the prices were very competitive. I would definitely come back again.

I've never been talked out of giving you business before! I was quoted $100 for an oil change on a 2014 Dodge Dartfor 5qts of regular 0w20 oil nothing special at all! No one in line and not one person was working, literally sun bathing! THATS REDICULOUS, I think your company should have better management. I just couldn't believe the manager basically asked me to go elsewhere! So I went to the DEALER n got in n out in 20mins and saved $40. Highly recommend going somewhere else for your oil changes.

The workers at this location (East state Street)were kind and very knowledgeable. Never trying to up sale you on products. Your car is fixed in a no time and your back on the road.

They lied about topping off all of my fluids even after I specifically asked them. I checked behind them and didn t have a drop of windshield washer fluid. But on the receipt it said added. They also didn t replace my air filter.

Need to clearly display the costs of your services. Oil chg. was fast with no wait, but pricey. Competitors are much cheaper for same services.

I took my truck in for an oil change a 2014 gmc sierra. He asked if I wanted the premium oil. Ok . My oil change with 1 new windshield wiper was 195.00. They did the oil change and the next morning I see a puddle of oil on my driveway under my truck. I called and they told me to try and tighten the plug. They said if that didn t help check the oil filter. WHY DIDNT THEY DO THIS! I checked the plug and it was very loose to the point I can spin with my fingers. I tightened it and no oil leak anymore. My brand new driveway has a large oil stain on it now. I ll never get my oil changed there again.

I was on a road trip and had a malfunction that seemed bad but Rid went through everything, explained what was happening and made an easy cost low cost fix that got me back on the road home. The guys in the shop took care of me and the vehicle. I needed an emergency oil change because of a rental company screwing me over and I had to take my original vehicle..... anyway, long story short Eugene and Joe got my vehicle in and gave me a thorough yet speedy oil change and off to my vacation I went! They get a bit of traffic with their location, but they were the only guys that could service my vehicle in the time I needed. I will be back, but next time not in an emergency situation.Thanks guys for being cool and collected. Peace!

Great experience here. The tech that helped me was very knowledgeable and friendly. Service speed was pretty good about the same anywhere else you d go. They re a little understaffed so that might not always be the case but my experience was good. Hopefully I won t have any more car problems in the near future, but if I do I m likely to return here.
