Buying a car from Dan at Forest City Motor was crazy easy: very straightforward, incredibly honest, and very competitive pricing right out of the gate.Dealer fee was low and reasonable. There was none of that nonsense where a dealer will low-ball the price and make it up by tacking on fees and extras.The car was pristine, the price and fees were as described, Dan held the car for us knowing we were driving in from 90 minutes away without hassle or questions. The paperwork was easy and crystal clear.I brought my teenage son to the table so he could get some experience on what it takes to buy a car, but to be honest with you, he probably didn't learn that much about haggling or watching out for the sucker punch because Dan was so incredibly easy to do business with!What my son did learn is what to look for in the kind of businessman that you want to do business with.If you find the car you want with Dan, or even if you just want a partner to help you source and acquire the specific car that you want, then you should do yourself a favor and bring your business here.

Back story I was purchasing a Ford from Hyundai of Naperville, IL. Shook hands with the manager and told him I would be back the next day with my wife to purchase the truck. That night they sold it right out from underneath me. Their loss Forest City Motor Co gain. Best experience ever purchasing a vehicle.

I was pleasantly surprised at how great they are. No high pressure sales tactics. Very honest and upfront to deal with. Explained all the charges and nothing was hidden. I would highly recommend these guys when looking for a car!!

We were referred to Pat at Forest City Motor Company by a friend. When we were ready for a new to us vehicle, my husband called Pat, told him what we were looking for and our budget. Pat found us exactly what we wanted within two weeks. We are delighted with the vehicle. Danny made the paperwork part of purchasing a vehicle super easy and fast. Pat showed us the things we needed to know about the car to get us started. An overall great experience. We highly recommend Forest City Motor Company if you're in the market for a new to you vehicle.

I looked all over the U.S. for a 2009 Honda CRV with all the options. I saw a CRV online at Forest City Motor Company. I talked to Dan who took pictures of the car from top to bottom. I knew that was the car for me. I flew up there from North Carolina on the Friday after Thanksgiving and it was definitely worth the trip. The car was like new and was everything he described. Thank you Dan for the great experience. When I'm ready for my next car I will be back.

Pat and Danny are wonderful to work with. They found the perfect 2016 Jeep Wrangler for our daughter. It's beautiful. Great price and good trade in on her old car. They really hunted for this one and we appreciate all the time they put into finding this gem. We will be calling them this spring to find a new car for me. Thank you Pat and Danny.

Pat & Danny are awesome! We have brought several vehicles from them and always have had a great experience. Recently we retired and decided to just keep 1 vehicle. They sold our 2nd vehicle on consignment and took care of all the paperwork. Can enjoy retirement now. Thanks Guys!!!

I went to Danny and Patrick to find my car in 2020. Since then, I have had multiple things occur on my vehicle. Six months in, I was told I needed new tires. Not expecting to get all new tires in the first year or two, ( that's why I got a new car with decent tires) I brought it back in and had their mechanic look at it. The tread was nearing replacement he told me. So I got new tires. Then I had to get new brakes and most recently has been a loose belt that I'll have to replace sooner than later. I understand that this isn't a brand new car, but I was not expecting to have this much maintenance as I upgraded from my 2014. Makes sense though seeing as these cars are purchased from an auction. Never again.

My daughter was looking to purchase a car for the first time and a friend referred Forest City Motor Co to us. Right from the start we were extremely impressed. They worked with her to help get her financed and made us feel comfortable throughout the whole process. We had our worries about purchasing a used car, but they really do have great quality vehicles. I also want to give a shout out to their amazing mechanic. After a few concerns we had, he took the time to help us out and assured us that our daughter would be safe. Sitting down and talking with them was like going to dinner with friends. I will definitely recommend them to all of our friends and family.

We drove 14 hours from NY to IL to purchase a car from Forest City Motors Co. and it was worth the trip. This was the best car purchasing experience we have ever had. Received a fair amount on our trade-in and purchased a great car from them. Dan was very helpful & pleasant throughout the entire process. Communication & Customer Service was excellent from start to finish. We have no complaints!!!!This was our first purchase with them, but not the last. We will definitely be back. You won't be disappointed!!!

I cannot Thank Danny enough, He was very faithful, we purchased the vehicle, Toyota Sienna 2012 online because we live in Minnesota and it was affordable/cheaper at Forest City Motor Company compared to all the dealers in Minnesota and nationwide. We had done all online and walk-ins search and none was affordable to us except this one. But we gave it a shot/a try but we are happy with the results and the process.The features in this vehicle are great and newest but above all the price was incredibly affordable. A car with this features and lowest mileage goes for more than what we bought at forest city motor company.We had done enough search, research but none in the state is like Forest City motor Company!We did all the transactions online and communicated via emails and he never disappointed us at all. Actually I thought he stayed on the phone or right on the computer screen all the time because he replied my emails right away and faithfully...he was very honest!. I am for sure believe and accept the motto "No hassle" Is really working in this company.He even kept our car indoor after the bank finalized the paperwork and when we went to pick up the car, it was indoor, no snow , very warm, very clean, very ready and Danny himself was very friendly, He gave us a very warm welcome, answered all our questions. In general, everything went great 100%...No complaints!, No hassle!, its worth a drive!I will recommend anybody who wants to buy a a car to Forest City Motor Company in Rockford Illinois.

BEST PLACE IN ROCKFORD...HANDS DOWN!Went looking for a new used car. Did hours of research online for the best possible price. Figured out which car I wanted and immediately looked at Forest City Motors website. They had what I wanted and my search was over. I knew I didn't have to search any more. After buying from there before, I was confident that they had the best price and would give me an honest and great trade in value for my car that I had purchased there. I have bought many cars in my 50 years of driving and always hate the purchasing game and always feeling that I could have done better, but Forest City Motors has a totally different experience. I like walking in the door, having no pressure and feel good when I drive off the lot with my new used car. Trust now days is hard to come by, but I trust them 100%. Need a used car, call them and feel good again about a car dealer ship.

Danny is very honest, and available for you whether online or in person. Bought a minivan here at affordable price, very beautiful, clean title, newest features!Customer service was excellent both through the emails, phone and in-person.We communicated through emails because am from Minnesota. He was so faithful and honest.We drove all the way from Minnesota to Illinois for the car. I tell you it's worth a drive.I recommend forest city motor company in Rockford Illinois to everyone!

Great experience. I'll start off by saying I'm in love with my new car! Danny was great on helping us with the financing and did what ever he could do to see me in my new car. A wonderful first experience on financing my car. I wouldn't have wanted to get it from anyone else. I highly recommend coming here if you want a great high quality car and customer service.

I had the privilege of having Byron the mechanic at this facility work with me. I have never been so happy to pay the bill. He went way out of his way to come in on Saturday where he doesn t usually work Saturdays. Stay until 530 on a holiday weekend just to connect with me . I m just so super impressed that I am overwhelmed. This facility is down to earth even the dealer/half owner was so friendly and reasonable. I can t say enough about this business they are amazing and I will never go anywhere else for work or to purchase my next vehicle.

Absolutely great experience. I've been looking for the right car for weeks, and I finally found it at Forest City Motors. I was very happy with the entire process, it was easy and pleasant, which is refreshing considering some of the dealerships I've dealt with in the past. They were very fair with my trade in, and gave me a good value on my old beater truck.Thanks again, we love the car!

Pat and Dan have been great. We had a surprise of twins less than a year after getting a pick up truck and Pat was able to buy truck back and find me a family vechile. Highly recommend. Update still providing great service.

Great customer service and friendly atmosphere. I do not know where to begin... My first car buying experience was amazing. Very helpful and understanding. I had a serious breakdown a week after buying my car (just to clear things up, it was not Forest City Motors fault. It was unexpected) and I was in the neighborhood. So I dropped in and long behold they were working on their day off. I addressed my concern and with no questions asked they fixed my car. They refused to let me leave without fixing it and took parts from another car so I could drive mine. Amazing people! Huge fan! Sending anyone I know looking to buy a car your way. Two thumbs up! Really good and high quality cars. Customer service was excellent and they even helped with getting financing. The whole buying process was quick and easy, without any up-sales on additional products. I will definitely be buying all of my future cars from here.

I just recently completed the purchase of 2 cars for 2 of my kids at Forest City Motors and I couldn't be happier. We had gone around town and spoke with some of the larger auto dealers and got a very bad taste in our mouth about how they were so pushy and how they tried to tack on so many extra charges. We couldn't get away from those people fast enough.Then we came to Forest City Motors and boy what a difference. Dan and Pat at Forest City were the exact opposite. I truly felt that they were trying their hardest to do right by me.We worked with Dan and he took the time to speak directly to both my kids and helped educate them on the whole business of buying a car. Both my kids had high praise for Dan, he made them feel very comfortable, showed them actual prices for their trade-in's from across the country and gave them both a very fair deal both in trade-in value and the price for their new cars. We will definitely be going back for future purchases.Joe J.

I purchased a Toyota Matrix from them and I have to say that it was the best buying experience I had in years!The staff is knowledgeable and trustworthy, they don't try to force your hand and only present your options.When it was time to sign the papers I realized that I forgot my checkbook. They accepted my credit card and even split the 1% usage fee with me!Overall, a highly commendable business and one I look forward to buying from long term.

My husband and I were very pleased with our experience. Not only was the car far less in price than others we had checked out locally in the same make, model, and year. But it also was far less than the Kelly Blue Book price!!! The whole experience was very smooth, no pressure whatsoever, and completely Frankie l feasible. We couldn't be more happy. The next time we are looking for a car, this would be the first place we would look.
