Other shops said I needed new rotors and pads but when I came here they said my pads were good but rotors were warped. He said he can sand the rotors and they will be good to go. I was super happy because I was on a budget. My car is riding perfect and I have cash left over. I m so glad I went to firestone. Thank you very much.

Someone totaled my car so I have been using a rental car through enterprise. The car had been losing air in one of the tires and Enterprise said I could take it to any Firestone location and they would bill it to enterprise. When I came to this location one of the employees helped me start setting up an appointment to get it fixed and started to say they could bill it but then another employee stepped in and said enterprise needed to bring it in, not me. I went to a different location and they fixed and billed it no questions. I don t know what was going on at this location but I wouldn t waste your time. The employees seem more interested in not working and ripping people off based on other reviews. The 5 star reviews seem like people that don t know how to work on their own car. I would not have bothered coming here if it wasn t a rental and I definitely would not if it was a vehicle I care about.

Process of scheduling an appointment was easy to do.The in-store shop attendant greeted me promptly as well as explained to me their current wait times and review of what services I would be receiving. The current specials and discounts applied to the services being performed. And an accurate out the door taxes included price.

Stay away. Benjamin Hernandez was very rude and bossy. Went to wicked tires on state and alpine. Got me in and out in 15 minutes. Never coming here again. Benjamin shouldn t be greeding costumers. Not peoples person.

Both my husband and I were very satisfied with the service we received. We had our 2012 GMC towed to this location and after speaking with customer service we were told they were not going to be able to work on our vehicle until Monday. It was also Easter weekend and there schedules were packed. To our surprise we received a call early and was told that it was the started and it had to be replaced. We figured as much. They also said that they would be able to do it right then and now! Firestone communicated the price to us with no added hidden fees! So Thankful for everyone who worked on our GMC. We will be back!RMadden

I believe Ben, the service manager who works at the alpine location is by far the best person to understand your needs. Very helpful and understanding when it comes to preventive auto care. I would definitely recommend anyone to use this location as their forever car care! I know I will and will pass this experience along to everyone I know!! Thanks Ben!

Greated quickly, listened to my needs and proceeded to work on my car. I was told an approximate time of completion and they acopleshed it. Waiting and display room looked great...I will definitely return to this location in the future.

Where do I start? I think giving these one star at the front desk is to much but anyway. I ordered a set of tires from Ebay for my Oldsmobile and set up an appointment thru Caradvise, I had the appointment for 1 pm on Saturday, had the first issue that day, just couldn't get me in. I called Caradvise to reschedule for the next day, Sunday at 1 pm, I got there and James told that to leave the car because it was going to be a while. I get a phone call around 4:30 pm and they ask me if I could leave my car overnight because they couldn't get to it. I told them no because I use this car for work so we made an appointment for following Tuesday at 5 pm. Once I got there on Tuesday, they didn't start working on my car until almost 5:30 and they close at 6pm, first they couldn't even take the hubcaps off, I had to show their technician how to do it and after they finally took the wheel off, they told I needed wheel studs but they couldn't do it that day because they were about to close. James was supposed to give me a quote on replacing the studs but never got a call from him. I waited till the following Saturday to called James to ask him if it was ok for me to take the wheels off the car myself and just drop them off so that all they had to do was just replace the tires and James told me that it was fine, so took the wheels off and went to their shop to drop them off and they asked me if I had an appointment and I told them no, I was just dropping the wheels off and Ben told me that without an appointment they wasn't going to be able to get to it and that they were booked, same story every time. I got really upset and walked off it of the shop and called Caradvise to cancel my order and took my business somewhere This guys were only making 50 dollars off of me, they much rather make hundreds of people that walk into their shop. Good luck if you go to Firestone on Alpine, to me their front desk SUCK!

Had excellent service here, on more than one occasion! Very professional staff, helped me understand what was wrong with my car and now she s running smooth, like brand new. Really appreciate the workers at this location.

Avoid this location at ALL COSTS!!!!Would give 0 stars if possible.I sent my girlfriend here to get an alignment and have her tires inspected. She left the vehicle with Firestone overnight. When she returned to pick up the vehicle she was charged an additional $250 for spark plug replacement. The vehicle came in for an alignment and tires, we did not ask anyone to inspect the ignition system. Firestone did this work unauthorized and without contact to the customer. They claimed it was too early in the day and they did not want to wake her.Unfortunately she was naive and paid them for the spark plug replacement without knowing better. Firestone performed unauthorized service and grossly overcharged her for it.These people are thieves and should be avoided at all costs. Please go elsewhere in the Rockford area.

The first time I went, I got terrible service. Staff was incredibly rude. I had my brakes done there. They still squeak. I brought it back in, I've had them checked, but they say everything is fine. My fender guard fell off after I picked it up, and almost caused an accident and further damage to my car. One of the managers seems more adept, so hopefully he'll retrain the rest of them.

I want to thank everyone at here for a great experience. I called on a Friday afternoon they had the tires I needed in stock made an appointment for Saturday morning. I came in and was greeted by a wonderful staff. Throttle me in and out while I waited in the waiting area. So a big thank you to Ben (store manager), James (service manager) and Takoa (mechanic).

I just pulled in here with low tire pressure and they Told me to pull in front of the first Bay to put air.Then They said there air machine Isn't working today. But.There's a car up on every Bay.. Garbage service

Is a Sunday on a holiday weekend. Their schedule was FULL! Ben did us a HUGE favor and said if you can be patient, we can wiggle you in . Our car is stranded in the country with a blown tire. Fix-a-flat didn t work. No spare tires these days. What do you do? Thank you Ben from the bottom of our hearts for being there for us on a holiday weekend!Service: Tires

I have brought my car in about three or four different times to do the alignment. That is Warrenteed! Mind you every time I bring my car and I deal with the same person Ben who I was told is also the manager I ve gotten in contact with corporate due to my issues! If you have a warranty on any work done to your vehicle from fire stone, do not bring it to the Alpine location. Every time I bring my car in to get told there s things that need to be replaced. So I replace them and every time I have brought my car back after replacing the things I was told to replace before they would do the alignment they find another reason or they tell me because the work wasn t done there they won t do my alignment. I have walked out of there 3 to 4 times with quotes 2000 or more . Ben is very rude very unprofessional, and at this point I m going to assume he does not know what he s talking about because although I am a female, I myself have worked at mechanical shops and I know the parts he s telling me that are bad and need replaced are brand new with receipts in hand! Very disappointed the few and only experiences that I ve had with fire stone I can say this is not a company (as far as the Alpine location) that I would trust my car with!Service: Wheel alignment

I brought my car in for an A/C leak. They proceeded to make up a bunch of things about the system including that the brand new lines I replaced myself were dry rotted and old. At least they admitted to lying about the compressor. How can you test it with an empty system? In the end they stole 58$ for "diagnostics." I found no die on the car anywhere, maybe they lied about the test too. Lost 2 hours of work and I still have to go buy 200$ worth of tools to fix it myself.Update:Corporate got back to me an refunded me. They got another star for that. I put it towards the tools and the part I needed. I had one bad line $38 and tools from harbor freight $198. Ice cold ac now.

Have used this Firestone store for 16 years with my Jeep Vehicles. Manager Ben Hernandez, Dominic & Drake worked on the vehicle this week. They always give me an honest appraisal of what needs to be done (no more or no less)..never try to oversell. Just state the facts. I was in desperate need for an alignment and I needed the car the same day. They took my car earlier than the appointment, they did not promise to have it ready the same day, but at the time of the appointment, they called that the car was ready. The price is honest. People are kind. My car feels like new. Excellent work. Excellent customer service. Thank you!

The folks at this Alpine location were able to get my issue sorted after another location had made several mistakes. Their staff is friendlier and quicker than at other Firestone facilities. Grateful to have my car driving smoothly again!

First it would be helpful if people were informed that when scheduling an appointment they they are speaking to a call center instead of the local service center they think they are calling. Then it would be helpful if the service center actually had the correct information when looking at availability. Because when I spoke to someone to schedule an appointment they didn t have the correct information. When I arrived to my local service center the manager looked dumbfounded when I told him that I had just made an appointment. He then informed me that I was speaking to someone in the call center and the appointment time I was given wasn t available. In fact there weren t any appointment times available for the day I was told. The manager even told me that this is a problem and happens all the time. My car ended up having to wait to the next day. Then when I tried calling the next day to check on the status of my car no one would answer the phone. It just kept ringing. When I finally was able to talk to someone I got my diagnosis. I ended up not having my car fixed because it was above their expertise. I took to another mechanic and was told that even misdiagnosed my car. If all you need are tires or an oil change then Firestone may be ok. If you need anything else done don t bother because they don t have the knowledge or expertise. If I could give zero stars I would.

I was experiencing loss of pressure on one of my tires and was planning a trip the next morning. My regular Firestone location couldn t get me in. The S Alpine store said he would take me if I could wait. They found a nail in the tire. I now have peace of mind for a very reasonable price. Thanks!Service: TiresService: Tires
