I was in today with a puncture hole in my tire in my Yukon and got it done pretty fast and free! I also chatted with the desk guy up front he was very friendly and gave me good information about my tires il also like too thank the worker him self! GIL! He was very polite and professional. I will be buying a new set as soon as I need them 10/10 customer service 10/10 customer satisfaction left with a smile :D

I ordered online and set an appointment the night before, cost was lower than other quotes. Despite being a Saturday morning and being packed with folks, with my online order they had someone there to check me in before I got out of my car! In and out in an hour. The wait was quick and the work well done. The associates professional and had a very positive helpful bearing 10/10 would recommend

Stopped in a week ago to get a replacement tire for a bulged one that I had. They didn t have it in stock and had to order it. Completely fine with this as we have other vehicles we could drive in the meantime. Received a call that the tire was in and scheduled the appointment for 11:15am on a Monday. I arrived on time and the vehicle sat for over 30 minutes before it was brought into a bay. I did notice the number of vehicles in their lot and assumed they are busy ( as usual). Just not sure what the point of an appointment is for if it s not adhered to. Still giving 4 star as everything regarding this location is top notch- staff and the workmanship just not the timing. Be prepared to have to wait regardless.

I was visiting Rockford recently, and got TWO flat tires on my way into town on Friday evening. The first place I called wasn t open on Saturdays. I called Discount Tire next, and I m so glad I did! They got me an appointment for Saturday, and then continued to be accommodating when the tow truck arrived late and didn t get me there until later. The only small hiccup was that they didn t have the correct size tires for me in stock. One gentleman thought he could get me tires by Tuesday, which was not ideal. Chuck found tires he could get me by Monday, and I m so grateful to him for speaking up. I didn t really have the PTO to miss a second day of work, and I had a class Monday night I really didn t want to miss. I got my tires and was on the road shortly after lunch on Monday. I made it back home with enough time to put in a couple hours of work, and made it to my class. Thank you to Chuck and Discount Tire for taking care of me and my car. I have to replace my other two tires later this year, and I will definitely be back. Thank you!

Wow! In and out in less than 30 minutes. All counterswere manned by employees, and everyone was very polite. This was my first visit, and I plan on continuing to come here from now on. Well done!

Went back because my weights for tire balance fell off. Took 20 minutes past apt. To get in, and then they forgot about me. 1 hour 20 min for simple tire balance with apt

If you're having to do vehicle chores relating to your tires or windshield wipers, this place is the best you'll get. The staff gets 6 stars... I took one because there was no privacy for me to nursey infant and I refuse to sit in a nasty bathroom... The lobby is nice and comfy. They offer complementary water... No snacks but you're a 3 min walk from other food places so that's that. I want to reiterate that those gentlemen go out of there way to make sure everyone feels welcomed and is helped.

The staff and customer service was excellent. Had an appointment to get new tires put on and ended up getting finished faster than I expected. I ll be the next person to recommend this place.

These fellas did a nice job! This was the third place I went to today to look at a low tire. The first place was nice but incompetent by telling me the tire couldn't be repaired and would have to be replaced but they didn't have the tire in stock. The second place had absolutely awful customer service with no greeting and no interest in helping so left there and won't return. Ended up at Discount Tires. These guys were not only competent (they were able to property repair the tire rather than replace and even threw in a balance) but also had good customer service skills by joyfully interacting with customers the whole time I was there. Having both competency and good customer service skills sticks out in today's society unfortunately, but well done and keep up the good work!

I had been researching tires for my 2015 Camaro for three months. It's a big purchase so I always make sure I'm getting the tires I want at the best possible price. Discount Tire had a killer Labor Day sale which made the price much better than ANYBODY else. There was a problem with my online order and it somehow got canceled. The guys at Discount Tire in Rockford IL made sure everything got straightened out. The tires were on my car in about 45 minutes. I am very happy with my purchase.My one and only gripe is that the guy who checked me in told me that my wipers look old and asked me if I'd like new ones. I had literally replaced them a week before. Obviously they want to sell wipers as it's an easy way to make a couple bucks. I have no problem with that. He just should've asked if I needed wipers, not tell me that my new wipers were bad.

Had work done on my wheel because it kept leaking air. Discount tire accommodated me by taking my tire off and putting it back on after another party repaired my wheel. They charged a reasonable price.

If I have an option Discount Tire will always be my choice. Even different stores seem to match the quality and friendliness.

Had a great experience here. We blew a tire on the way to a wedding - they had the tire in stock, were incredibly helpful and kind, AND didn t laugh to hard at us for getting ready in the lobby while we waited for them to put a new one on. Definitely recommend!

Allows walks in and the guy mentioned no more than 1hr wait. But yet I waited over 3hrs to get a tire replaced when my tire showed up and I came in hrs later when only 2 people where here getting their tires worked on... slow service.

I bought 2 sets of tires from these guys and I had them put one set on a brand new set of rims.I asked him to please be cautious as to not scratch the paint and he replied they are not responsible for that.Even on their own rims.They did not scratch however they left them a complete mess didn't even wipe them down. Maybe if I spend 2k they will?

I bought my tires here and have had an issue with the balance soon as I drove on the highway. I've been back into the store 5 times and every time they tell me it's 1.5 to 2 hrs before they can rebalance my tires. I waited 2 times for ubout 1 before I gave up. During my wait 2 new customers came in bought tires and they installed them and kept me waiting. They were walk-in customers who didn't have an appointment. It's not just this store it's all discount tire policy. I've bought tires for my works trucks and personal cars over the yrs. Although the prices are good the follow-up service is very poor. With my work schedule I can can't wait 1 to 2 hrs for something that shouldn't take more than 15 mins. It's very apparent that selling tires is priority over warranty issues.

Today, I visited Discount Tire and had my tires replaced on my vehicle. The time it took them was a great time. The only problem I had was when I came in to have my tires put on, I had to pay for my tires again. I bought them online and then made an appointment. I was called because my tires would be in after my appointment. So I had to cancel my appointment and wait for them to come in. Little did I know that they refunded the purchase because I had to reschedule my appointment. I would have appreciated knowing that they refunded your money when you have to reschedule your appointment. Maybe a little more customer to store employee communication, but that is all. But overall, it was a great time for getting me in and out.

Discount Tire has long been my go-to place for any tire needs. On an extended road trip when we experienced a complete tire failure near Rockford, IL. Worked with Jase to identify the correct replacement & from the time I first called to getting back on the road was just over three hours. Pretty awesome support. Thanks again for your help Jase - hope your road rash has healed. (FYI, the local Mercedes dealer said it would take at least three days to get a tire.)

I've used this store for years. Always great service. I prefer to research and ponder new tires but when needed same day they usually have a great option in stock ready to go.

Tire leak was fixed. In & out in 45 mins. Great service and professional staff. I was given a warranty on work performed. Highly recommend.

Very busy store, but customers who came in after me without appointments were finished before I was. I arrived at 10:10a with a wait time of between 12:05-12:30p and tire repair wasn't completed until almost 1:45p...discouraging. Staff is very nice, service was good, completion time estimate quite off.

Usually have nothing but the best experiences from this company at this specific location. Came in Friday July 28th. Issue with a bad tire and a tire with slow leak. Salesman checked the tires and made a claim that inside of tires were worn and he couldn't do anything for me but sell me 4 new tires. All 4 of my tires were purchased here and all except bad tire are newer with great tread. Had to escalate to manager on duty who didn't see the wear the sales man was claiming was there. Sales man also couldn't show me the wear either. I purchased the new tire and leak was suppose to be fixed as well as balance and rotation of tires. The leak was not fixed nor were the tires balanced or rotated. Spent 2hrs at location for just the tire to be replaced and nothing else. Out of Town all weekend I had to deal with airing the tire 3 to 4 times a day from being flat. Came in August 1st to bring it to attention of location Salavador who was less than helpful and really unapologetic for the situation had a rude attitude and offered no immediate resolve. Stated it would be 3hrs of wait to fix. Wouldn't offer a schedule time same day to resolve issue created by Jacob when he failed to service me properly. Longtime customer of this company specifically at this location but this type of service is unacceptable. Salesman put me and my family at risk on highway, by putting me back on the road like he fixed all what brought me in initially. Now I have to come back August 2nd to have issue resolved that should've been done when I came in the first time. I got the feeling that my business isn't valued by all involved.
