Clerk was rude , kept pulling the wrong part then getting mad about it . It was an oil filter for a F450 . I should of just walked out when she asked the F 450 was a Ford ! How do you work a counter at a parts store if your asking that . After her 3rd attempt I asked for someone competent , she hit the roof started yelling and was told to go take a breather . Been going to this store for 20 years , I won t be back until she is gone . I own a tow company and parts stores are always soliciting me . So see ya Advanced auto . Autozone counter employees know a f450 is a Ford product and I m sure they don t scream and act like children when they are wrong .

I called 11th street Advance in Rockford Illinois Saturday the phone just rang like a closed store. Gave it another try at East state street Rockford and got the pleasure of being helped by Logan Loria or (Lorra). He helped me search for a part with no problem. Thanks for making my day with the great customer service

Everytime i go in, i believe alfonso is his name, makes it seem like a big deal he has customers. Today in a snarky tone i was asked "what are you doordash or something" when i was waiting in line behind someone i could only imagine was an employee because no purchase was made, advanced is my go to but this gets a bit rediculous

Ridiculous. I went in for a car battery. Paid for it and the worker brought the cart out to put the battery in my car. He took one look and said he could not install it due to the location of the battery. Ok. I would have understood that but...the worker proceeded to leave the cart with the installation tools and battery outside on the sidewalk, went back into the store and proceeded ti start helping other customers, leaving me standing there with the car hood up, car running and battery sitting there. 15 minutes later I had to go into the store and complain and basically had to yell to get anyone to help me . Seriously. This could have been so easy to simply just apologize, refund my money and send me on my way. Nope. They just left me standing there. Nothing. If I wouldn't have gone back into the store I probably still would be standing there. I was parked right outside of the door. Both workers could see me. Both workers made eye contact with me yet left me standing there. Never ever again will I go to this store. Complete incompetence! Auto zone or o reileyswill get my business in the future. This should get a zero star review

Horrible service. Do not shop here. Employees are completely uneducated and will give you the wrong parts, they barely know how to do their jobs, and you'll be kept waiting because they ignore you and move at a snail's pace. I have been here over 10 times and every time it has been unpleasant. Go to Napa across the street, they are infinitely more knowledgeable and will not steer you wrong. Would not go to this store again unless I absolutely had to. Not only that but their prices seem higher than O'Reilly and AutoZone.

If I could give the advanced auto parts on each state a 0 stars I would!! The 3 gentlemen that were working there would not leave the counter to come assist me and we're telling me I needed the wrong size light bulb when I questioned them they thought I was just a typical girl that didn't know what I was talking aboutIf I could give the advanced auto parts on each state a 0 stars I would!! I went in for wipers and Kent V. Helped me,but was not much of help, he told me the wiper numbers and where they are at, I asked him which he recommended from his experience, he said it goes based on prices, he did install em as asked but I could tell he was not happy with doing his job.when I said thank you he said nothing. He did his job as he had to but not great customer service. If he hates his job he may need to find a different one,just saying

I use them if I can get the parts from O'Reilly. Only because O'Reilly is so much easier to return warranty parts in my experience.

Just went in to get a few items for my new truck. The man helping me Tony tank was extremely helpful and courteous to me. If you stop in at this business on State St. see Tank!

Purchased a few items online and made a pick up. The items were readily available. Helpful and knowledgeable Staff. Also helped me in returning a wrongly purchased item. Its better to Order the item online and pick it up since few coupons are not honored for In store purchases. Definitely will recommend for future purchases.

ATTENTION!!! This Advance Auto location has decided they do not have to stay open until 9pm! Customer beware, if you decide you need to purchase anything here make sure it's before 8:30pm! I recently tried to purchase a stock headlight bulb at 8:40pm and the doors were locked! The employee's vehicles were outside warming up(it was a cold night). I went back to my car and called the location but no one picked up. I went back to the front door and loudly knocked on it hoping they would respond but they didn't. I guess it's to much to expect a store to stay open the posted hours they dictate! So long Advance, THANKS FOR NOTHING!

I asked for them to do a scan of my vehicle and he said because of covid I have to do it myself so he gave me the machine and I plugged it in and recorded the Code numbers

Very friendly people we took our car in to see if they could tell us why all of a sudden our check engine light came on they came right out very nice man read the code told us what it was the guy parked beside us was having a hard time getting his wiper blades back on his car when we left the guy who checked the codes for us was helping him put the blades back on

I stopped in to the store late Saturday afternoon (5/21/16) because my car was "missing" and the check engine light was on. I know nothing about cars and really needed help. I have a 2004 Camry. Myron waited on me, and he couldn't have been any better or more helpful. He hooked a meter up to my car & was able to tell me exactly what was wrong with it. I'm very grateful for the help and service Myron & Timm gave me. Thanks a million guys.

I ordered the part online and drove 20 miles each way. I arrived and they did not have the part. Said sorry. They did not adjust their inventory and did not want to comp me for their mistake. Called corporate office and they took care of the problem.

My check engine light came on so I pulled in thinking someone would come out and help me. But all they did was hand me the reader which had seen better days. So I just walked out went down the road to auto zone.

I buy a lot of parts from this store for my own cars and customers but today when I tried to return a product that went bad after 20 days, their new part left me stranded, went back to return it, they didnt want to refund me the money or even store credit, I didnt have the receipt anymore but they didnt even want to look it up in the computer. Very disappointed and I will never buy anything from this store.

iv been comming to this place for 0ver 10 years never had a problem but worhin last few years it has become the a place i avoid unless i have to get something of the floor. this place does not see customers like it used too its almost always dead due to people always having problems with customer service, OW commercial guy is worse thats why i took my businesse accoint else.

Very poor service. I was looking for the right oil filter but didn't know the part number and their book was out of date. The clerk told me I could pick any filter from Purolator. I even asked him to confirm what he just told me and he did. I walked out and went to Auto Zone and got the service I deserve.
