Exactly what I needed. Got my truck in and back on the road same day at a fair price. Fair honest family man with long standing community ties and a U.S military vet. take into consideration he is only a 1 man shop doing the best he can to make people happy, he maybe booked but he'll do his best to accommodate your needs. He'll be my go to!

I had a great experience here when I was in town visiting family close to the holidays. My car's power steering locked up and it was a safety hazard to drive back out of town without it being fixed. Although they were plenty busy and backed up, they made time to help me for which I'm forever grateful. I recommend Bonnell and will go out of my way to give them my business.Services: Vehicle Inspection, Vehicle safety inspection

My insurance had me use their towing service for my car breaking down. Bob gave them his personal number and also worked with the fact I had to take my wife to work before meeting him. The service was fast, friendly and very professional. He even showed me a trick for loading my Camaro onto a trailer without doing damage to the undercarriage. Thanks for all your help Bob. I will defiantly recommend and use you again if needed!

I brought in a truck I recently bought to have a decent amount of work done, exhaust manifolds, Y-pipe, o2 sensor and spark plugs. Bonnell's did a fantastic job, and obviously work hard to produce results.Great work, at a great price, with good values. I'll be coming back.

Bob Bonnell is an absolute Godsend! Me and my crew picked up a school bus in Rock Falls and were supposed to drive it back home to our church in California. The joker who sold us the vehicle failed to disclose before the sale a couple serious issues the vehicle had - namely a bad fuel leak and spongy brakes. We pulled into Bob's shop and explained our desperate situation. He fixed both issues expertly, all the while being extremely cheerful and courteous. It was evident he cared about his customers and desired their safety in travel. If you are in this are and need any type of auto work done - there is no better place than this shop. What a Awesome family!I had a flat tire Thanksgiving and called them first thing in the morning the next day and even though they were full up they still got me in and out in no time at all. Unlike even Walmart they tightened the lugs back to spec. This was my first dealings with them and I guarantee it won't be my last. I would recommend Bonnell be your first call for auto repair. Thanks again everyone there.

One of the things I most try to avoid is to go to a mechanic before knowing what is wrong. Yesterday I called in to ask them to fix the knob in my car that turns the air from cold to hot so I could take it in today. Being winter and having it stuck on cold, I wanted to get it fixed before I had to make too many long drives.After receiving my phone call and a written note (that explained how my knob was broken and I knew it was the issue because I was the one that broke it) in a plastic bag with my key when I dropped it off at the shop, Bonnell's proceeds to run all possible diagnostics totaling $140 when that should have been $0 seeing as I told him what was wrong before he ever did anything via phone and a WRITTEN NOTE.To actually fix the issue, the parts and labor totaled $55, but I was required to pay the full $195 in order to get my car back. I went here because there were good reviews on Google and I knew some people that knew him, but due to this poor experience and unfortunate dishonesty, I will not be taking my car there again.

this workshop is a real blessing we traveled from California to Illinois to pick up a bus for our church but the bus had no brakes and was leaking gasoline we did not know anyone in rock fall but someone told us that this workshop was the best thanks to Bob for his work honest humble and professional work sure God bless you always from Manteca California GOD BLESS YOU AND YOU FAMILYService: Brakes

Went to talk to them about fixing my car and they charged me 10 dollars for using the scanner and didnt even really tell me what was wrong said I would have to come back!! 10 dollars for nothing but a waist of my time and added stress!!
