If I could leave 0 stars I would. I pulled in with a flat tire and went to the desk to ask about having my spare put on. I explained we, my Mom and I, were AAA members. We were told they were too busy to help. They had three cars inside and didn't appear to be doing anything with them. They told us we had to call the AAA roadside service. I almost fainted! Are u serious we are outside your service center doors and we have to call for help and wait. He said yes. I went to the customer service desk and they said they could not call it in because they only sale the insurance. What a laugh! So u can have three people sale insurance, two at desks doing not sure what and three in the service center and no one can help a customer. I told my Mom it was time to cancel this insurance and go with another one who actually appreciated their customers. We waited , after having to go through the whole call center situation, for about a half an hour for the young man to arrive. He asked why we called when we were at the repair service, so I explained, and he said are you kidding me it would have taken them 5 minutes and you would have been on your way. The young man had to change our tire out in the rain when the workers could have did it inside in a dry area. I will NOT and WOULD never go here again. I also plan to write a letter to someone about this experience. Ridiculous!!!

Charles assisted me and my son on a car repair, from welcoming me to completing the repair Charles was so helpful and professional. He is definitely an asset the company. I recommend 100% and suggest requesting Charles.Thank you!!!

I came here to get my car serviced the day after Thanksgiving. I needed an oil change, new wiper blades and my passenger tail light was not properly working. I was greeted by Charles the manager. He made sure he followed up with me regarding everything that his staff was doing on my car. Once he realized I needed a new tail light house, he explained that they couldn't find it at any local auto stores and that it would be expensive to purchase through the dealership. I then looked on another website I found the part for a few hundred dollars cheaper. Charles installed the new tail light house in less than 20 minutes. I will definitely be back to this establishment. If you want quality work done, with reasonable prices, and a cordial staff, AAA at North Riverside is where you should take your vehicle.

Went to put air into my new tire ( only replaced 14 months ago) cuz had low pressure but somehow wouldn t work so tire went flat. Called AAA the towed my car but charged me for a brand new tire and new pressure monitoring system instead of just fix it they replaced everything for an hefty $430!!!Thieves!! Obviously the tire was in great conditions!!!

Last year they didn t want to recharge my a/c. Several calls were made, and they told me the schedule was booked 3 weeks out. My wife called and the guy tells her they can do it same day, that they operate on first come, first served basis. We drove for 5 minutes to drop off the car, and then they told me someone had just got there in line ahead of us . The poor guy tried to tell his manager he just talked to us on the phone, but the manager said they couldn t do it.I was hoping they had gotten better, so I called today to see about scheduling an oil change (I ve had no issues in the past, they have been very professional and good at the work). But after being on hold for 10 minutes with no explanation (are they busy assisting customers? Are they short staffed?) I hung up. After reading other reviews, we will take our business elsewhere.

Two stars as I m understanding this place is extremely understaffed, however when AAA brought my car here, there was miscommunication as the North Riverside didn t understand what was the matter with it. It takes them a long time to answer and call back. Save yourself some time and take your car elsewhere.

Wow- I had a really unpleasant experience. I was sent to this shop from my AAA tow man who stated he didn t have the correct battery on hand for me. When I arrived at the store I was aggressively told that it is not my problem that the battery provided to me by AAA originally was dysfunctional. I was denied service for no discernible reason. When I asked for a jump home since the car is literally dead in the parking lot and I was also denied this. I asked for a manager and was told I could call tomorrow. I will be making a formal complaint with the company- I have never been treated so poorly in my existence by a customer sales rep. I was yelled at in front of other customers which was humiliating. I had to walk across the street to costo to buy a jumper pack while sitting in front of a battery repair shop, because the staff felt it was not their problem to help me. I ve been a AAA member for 12 years.

I've never had worse service than at AAA North Riverside.Do not take your car to these people. They lie, they don't know what they're doing, and they will try to trick you into paying out the nose for service that won't even fix your problem. Avoid this place like the plague.I had my car towed to AAA North Riverside because AAA Roadside Assistance said it would save money. The towing was fine, but the mechanics at AAA Riverside (who apparently are paid on commission) were either incompetent, dishonest, or both - and they nearly destroyed my engine.After about a business day, they told me my car was fixed, and that their manager had driven it himself, and that I could come pick it up as soon as I was able. When I came to their location to pick up my car I found that, not only had they left it unattended and unlocked for who knows how long, but the car still wouldn't start.They then tried to get me to pay them another $2000 on top of the $2500 I'd already paid them, because they said I needed a whole new engine! I found this out after they'd promised that my car was fixed, that the manager had test driven it himself.I immediately called another shop to get a second opinion. I ended up having my car towed to them from AAA. Once they took a look at my vehicle, they discovered that not only did I NOT need a new engine, but the AAA mechanics had botched the repairs, causing oil to leak everywhere.Turns out, it was a fuel issue - the people at AAA hadn't even bothered to do a fuel test before telling me to pay them for a whole new engine. The other shop got my car running like new in less than a day after they figured out the issue, and they charged a more than reasonable price.Avoid AAA when it comes to everything except roadside assistance. Unless you need that, everything else about this company is designed to squeeze as much money out of you as possible without fixing the problems you paid them to fix. It's been weeks and I'm still waiting to hear back from AAA about the complaint I filed; apparently even their corporate offices lack integrity, and will drag their feet as much as possible instead of righting their mistakes. A company like this doesn't care about the customer's experience as long as they still get paid. They don't deserve your money.

When I realized there was a Triple A a few miles from my home, I was thrilled to check them out. I had all my tires done at this location. Price was reasonable, service was done in a timely manner and I was happy with customer service. Several months later, my tire pressure continued to signal that pressure was low. I call and spoke with Kevin , explain my situation and he git me in the next day. I was thrilled to know that my tires were still covered under warranty, and low and behold, the nail was found in my tire! These guys got me in and out in no time and because my tires were under warranty, I didn't have a pay one single penny!!! Kevin, the service worker was very friendly and helpful. I'm glad I went to this location and look forward to doing business with them againService: Auto tire replacement

This is my first visit to the location since the Sears Auto Center closed. I wasn't sure what to anticipate, but the result was excellent! I heartily recommend using this location for faster automobile services. went for an oil change, and they have really reasonable prices! Will undoubtedly return to make my new stop.pristine, amiable, and expert! Try them out and help this area become known! If you're unsure about this location, hopefully this can help you decide.

Been taking my car to AAA Car Care centers for 15+ years for all kinds of repairs, never been disappointed. I'm in town from out of state and had a check engine light turn on, so naturally took the car to the nearest AAA center to get it figured out. The mechanic told me he "doesn't have a guy who diagnoses check engine lights." Literally what is the point of being a car care center if you can't even diagnose check engine lights?

I had made an appointment at 3 pm for an oil change. Man at the counter said it would be between 2-3 due to being understaffed. I said that's fine. I receive a text message at 5:50 that my car was being checked in and then radio silence. I go back at 8 pm and they're closed with my car in the shop.I didn't have a car for a full day, had to spend money on a Lyft. They called me next morning at 9 a.m to say my car was ready... The lack of communication was unprofessional. Never taking my car there again.If you need any vehicle stuff done, go anywhere else.

Went in with coupon for oil change and "free" tire rotation. They told me I needed new struts. Given the expense of struts- I wanted 2nd opinion and didn't have time to do it just then. When I took it to another shop - they could not find my tire lock key. I called AAA shop and first they denied using key and then just said check glove compartment. When I called back to say that the lock had to be broken and replaced ($$$)- they said nothing they could do about it and no apology. I asked to talk to manager and they said he would call me - never called me back. Will not return.

Went in to get a price on a tire I needed replaced. The guy at the counter didn't even take the time to ask questions just told me he couldn't do it that the person that ordered was off. His lethargic attitude was enough proof serving the customer was not his priority. I had my mechanic waiting with the replacement in Addison (All Auto & Truck Inc. -highly recommend) but didn't want to risk driving with the spare. So my problem was solved, bad aftertaste from the experience remains. The young girl at the front was friendly enough although was not able to cancel my membership. If I was management I would still switch their salaries in a heartbeat.

Went here to get an international driver's permit. Staff was friendly and professional, and process quick and easy. The phone menu is awful, though, but I won't blame this location/staff for that. Hint ... Even though it's not an option, press zero if you need to talk to a human (IDP was not in the list of options)

Towed my car over there for one stuck log nut. End up being charged for two log nut because they broke the other log and lied that is came like that. Charged 275 to change to my spare tire and fixed one of the damage they did. I will never use them. They never apologize for the damage of a broken log they did

Don t waste your time going to this place that takes 9 hours to do an oil change. Communication is also poor at the counter. Whoever is the manager of this place needs to train their counter guy better.

Very Dirty!!! phone was sticky & had human hair stuck on speaker & dial knobs, bathroom had coffee machine had used dried up coffee pod in the machine!!!

The reason for the low score is this this particular location in North Riverside, IL DESTROYED my engine back in December 2018 when I took it in for a regular oil change. I had went there for the same service several times before without incident but that time, whoever the technician was "failed" to do something. My vehicle was in VERY good condition running smoothly before I took it there. Half way home I began to hear a knocking sound so I turned around and took it right back. They looked at it, told me they didn't hear or see anything wrong and asked did I hear the noise before bringing it in. I get how some people try to scam but that's not me...I make enough money and have a moral compass so I don't need to do all that. Anyway, the noise persisted and the next day (a Sunday) the check engine light came on. The next day I took it to the dealership and as soon as I got it there it died. They told me I had to get a whole new engine. They said whoever did the oil change performed it "incorrectly" by either failing to remove the old oil filter seal or did something while refilling the oil. This was mid December and all engines through the manufacturer were on back-order. I had to pay for a rental car for 3 months which of course I could get no reimbursement through my insurance company because it was not considered an "accident". I called AAA customer service to report my complaint but nothing ever came of it and no one ever followed up with me about it so I swore to never go to another one of their service centers again. Overall based upon my prior experiences and other customer reviews they are decent enough BUT not worth the risk in my opinion. That whole ordeal was so inconvenient, financially draining of my spending money (holidays remember), and lack of accountability left a bad taste in my mouth about their service shops. I can see if I messed up my own car but I didn't. For this to happen due to no fault of my own gave me qualms about going to any other car place for my oil change other than the dealer.

My car broke down and was towed to this location. From the moment I connected with Randy there he was efficient and effective. His team diagnosed my car, ordered the parts, and got it repaired in just a few days. This was done quickly to ensure I had transportation for the holidays even though they were understaffed and had many cars to complete. I appreciate the kindness and efficiency. Thank you to the tech, Jose, also. My car is running smoothly. . I wish I lived closer, as I would return here for repairs.

Took my van for a oil change and to check my brakes. I mention that I notice oil on the ground before the oil change. Picked up vehicle and I was told everything was fine, parked van for a few hours and notice oil on the street went back to AAA and they told me at first it was transmission fluid 30 minutes later they said it was oil! And for my brakes they said they were fine! Which was a lie. Took the van to another repair facility and had to replace everything for the rear brakes! Been bringing all my vehicles to AAA riverside location since I purchased them! Will never go back there again!

I've been here a few times already for everything from oil change to alignment to getting a tired replaced. Every encounter has been a great experience - everyone is professional and courteous and prompt. The prices are competitive and for a car repair shop the customer service is superior. Christian especially has been stellar. Love my AAA membership even more now.

Cody was amazing the customer service rep that greeted me when I checked in my car for my oil change appointment. He was super nice and answered all of my questions; which were plentiful. The service all around was fast and friendly.The prices are more than reasonable. They also recognized my wife's service in the Navy and gave me a military discount.I have found a new car maintenance shop! Thanks for everything, we will be back for all our regular car maintenance.

Went there to swap a tire to a different rim that I bought. Had my appointment at 10am and we still waited but not long the tech took care of what I asked and since I'm a mechanic my self but don't have a tire machine I told them to just do the tire and not any inspection. For the reason that I've noticed that some techs including the one taking care of my car were just on their phones. I dont mind a quick text but when they lean on something and start scrolling you know they on social media. But besides that front people were polite and took care of me.

Service was top notch! Everyone was nice, responsive, and a pleasure to talk to. They explained everything with my car but didn't push to get unnecessary work done. It does seem to be a little more expensive than some of the local garages, but they were able to get me in quick and get my car back in a day.
