I m from Cincinnati and needed a problem with my car fixed before I could go home. When I first called another shop, they couldn t fix my problem, but when I brought my car into Wild, they had it fixed, and had me on my way in 15 minutes. They couldn t have been nicer and more helpful!

I don't have enough words to describe Ken Jr. and his level of moral value and integrity behind his word. When he says he's going to take care of you and your car, he means it. We've been bumbling around trying to find a great mechanic that we can truly trust and stumbled across them through a referral. He's very communicative either by calling or texting to keep you up to date with the repair process. I've worked in the Automotive industry for a very long time myself on the collision repair side and can truly appreciate his high standards of customer service. Ken Jr. and Wild Automotive will be my number one go to going forward and if any one asks me for a good mechanic, you bet I'm going to tell them to see Ken Jr. Thanks for being true! Ken was absolutely professional and very flexible in getting my classic Ford up and running to tip-top shape after another shop botched the job. Ken and his shop took any and all steps necessary and ultimately went above and beyond my expectations. Wild Automotive s attention to detail makes their service unparalleled.Wild Automotive performed advanced engine repair on my Ram 1500, in which the Dodge dealer was not capable of performing.Additionally,I brought a company vehicle over for a new alternator and battery. Ken and his staff are thorough and respectful. Took on a large project for my family truck... Full active suspension rebuild, extensive driveline work and numerous fluid leaks/low pressure issues were completed quickly and at a fair price. Nice and pleasant people work there. Never a complaint about any of the interactions!Typically one of the nice things about a shop like this is they are willing to install customer supplied speciality parts. I had such a part for my lifted truck. I generally try to alternative my business between grove auto and wild auto as they are my local mom and pop auto shops. I got a quote from wild and grove for installing upper control arms on my 4Runner. Wild was well under the price of grove so I went with them or tried to at least.I dropped my truck off with the parts that included the instructions. I got a call from them stating the parts wouldn t work for my truck. They went very in-depth explaining why they felt it wouldn t work and even sent me pictures. Me not being an expert took it at face value but I was hesitant to believe I bought the wrong or incomplete parts. I went back to my helpful 4Runner groups and they all said I had the right parts. I went as far as trying to send an install video to help (albeit the wrong video in hindsight). They said they d take another look at installing it the next day. Same story the next day unfortunately. Again very cordial and pleasant conversations with the owner and technician. When i picked it up the tech talked me through his concerns and why he felt it can t be installed by even showing me the parts and how it wouldn t work. No real suggestions on how to address the issue thoughAgain I got that nagging feeling that something wasn t adding up though. After I left I read the instructions that came with the parts and it immediately explained in the steps and in a diagram how to address the techs concerns. I sent a text to tech and the owner showing this but didn t hear back from them. It is my feeling they just didn t want to do the work which is perfectly fine with me I just wish it would have been communicated that way. The price I got quoted being so much lower than grove, maybe they didn t want to retract that quoted price even though I fully admit when I called for a quote I didn t explain the install full enough that it involved the ball joint.I took the truck and parts to grove auto. They had it done in a day with no issues or extra parts needed.

It's great and rare to have mechanics that you can trust and that's what these guys are. I've had both of my vehicles in over the years for many reasons. If an issue has come up after having it repaired they are quick to resolve it and are very accommodating. On top of the trustworthiness and great service their prices are the best around as well. I highly recommend them and have done so to many of my friends.

I'm a new customer to Wild Automotive and am very pleased with their work. Recently they fixed a tricky electrical problem on our Jeep Liberty that two other automotive repair shops failed to correct. While also performing other needed car maintenance, Ken and his crew provided prompt, excellent service at a great price. We highly recommend Wild Automotive and fully intend to return our vehicles to Ken and his crew for future maintenance and repair needs.

Wild Automotive did a good job on the repair of our air conditioning problems. Ken, Jr. is very knowledgeable and has great communication skills. Kept us informed throughout the process, all while working with the auto warranty company to get our vehicle back to us in a timely fashion. We will use them again and are comfortable recommending them to our friends.

Great service! They always do whatever I need to keep my car reliable and safe. When a long time friend told me that Ken would take good care of me and that he has an excellent reputation; he was right. Their service is quick. I highly recommend WILD Automotive to friends and family and they have proven to be honest and trustworthy.

Recommended by acquaintance. Owner very personable, straightforward. Saw customers come in and had small issues resolved immediately. All had high praise for business. Technician competent. Prices are reasonable. Seems like a place I'll use again.

I had my 100,000 mile tune up as well as a timing belt replaced on my 2011 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport. The guys at the shop were very professional as well as personable, even taking me back into the shop to show me every single thing they identified that needed to be addressed on my car. They understand consumer budgets, and were very laid back regarding what needed to be fixed versus what I could afford to have fixed. I felt no pressure to make all of the fixes at once. The timing belt, spark plugs, and tune up were completed on time as promised, and the pricing was very fair for the high quality of work and service received. I will give them my business again, starting with brake service this week. Thanks Wild Automotive!

I took my car in for a tune up and break repair, they also diagnosed a few other problems that could have posed a danger on a long road trip. I felt their quote was fair and honest. They give you all the information you need and help you prioritize which repairs should be immediate and what can wait...this is helpful if the expense of the repair becomes more than you anticipated. Overall I was very pleased and would recommend Wild Automotive for your auto repair needs. I will be back and I am happy they are close to me.

We have been very fortunate to discover Wild Automotive recently to help us maintain our Ford F-150 and Volvo Wagon. First we needed a new battery in the Volvo, then we needed brakes on the F-150 in short order. Thank you Ken, Ken and your team for taking such good care of our vehicles and providing such great customer service at a good price. We will continue to utilize you as our hometown auto repair shop. We've mainly used then for oil changes, but the few other repairs that they have reccomended we really felt were necessary. They are very honest and helpful explaining everything involved with repairs. We had used a shop by our old house for 5+ years and it was rather daunting trying to find a shop we liked as much closer to home, but Wild Automotive is definitely it.

Well recommended. Their repair to my car didn't go right the first time, but they were super reasonable in setting it correct and now it's perfect. Very happy with the "go the extra mile" service. Great attitude.

I will never go anywhere but Wild Automotive again! Trusting affordable service! Stayed open late for us on Saturday just to make sure we would have a working vehicle for Monday am! Kenny was amazing! Oil changes are only $17.99 there any you don't even need a coupon for that price! They have my forever business! Thank you Ken!

I'm new to Illinois and Wild Automotive was recommended to me. I only needed an oil change for now but these guys are fantastic! Didn't try to up-sell me anything, gave me a price before I went there, and that's what I paid. Being a female, I really appreciate that. I'll be going back for any other car needs I have. Great work! They have great prices and they are honest. Got muffler work done and it was half the price of what chain shops wanted. They also helped fix an outstanding power steering issue no other shop I went to could fix. Will definitely be using for future repair work!

Ken has been very competant in getting my car up and running again. My previous mechanic advised that I sell it because of a chronic issue. Ken kept at it and stood behind his work. He is very fair with his prices and great, quick service. I would definitely recommend them.

Wild Automotive is our go-to for oil changes and all service work now! Ken is not only patient with customers, but detailed in his descriptions of car issues and repairs. All of their technicians are friendly and Dixie is great company if you have to wait. I highly recommend this shop.

Wild Automotive is my first and only choice for anything I need done on my car. From oil changes to brakes, I know I can trust them to fix my car, warn me and show me new issues that need to be addressed, and charge me a reasonable price for their work. Even though I have moved out of Fox River Grove, I still drive back there for all of my car repairs. They will always have my business!

Wild automotive has not only been extremely patient with me while I work on getting money together to pay for repairs, but they also have someone who knows a lot about my car. (3rd generation f body) Which ensured good work has, and will, be done. I look forward to do more business with them in the future.

Incredibly cheap parts, excessive numbers of hours needed to get things done, astronomical amounts of money for the jobs, and as many fake problems as they can throw at you. If a mechanic can make people feel welcomed and cared for, they'll never ask questions, get opinions and quotes from other shops, or do research. It's the way the business goes, just like car sales. I've worked at two dealerships but don't any more because the idea of doing this exact thing to people made me feel I'd sold my soul for the sake of money, despite my doing my very best to chop down the price for people and not push things that weren't needed.

Finding a mechanic you can trust is hard. Wild Automotive wins my trust again and again with every visit, at a fraction of the cost of the dealer$hip. If you regularly visit dealerships or chains, you owe it to yourself to switch to a local shop that gets it done right, at the right price, and doesn't try to upsell you with unnecessary service. I appreciate straight shooters that call it like it is. I know what needs to be fixed, what can wait, and often a much less expensive alternative to a particular issue.

Wild Automotive is a very reliable and affordable auto repair shop. Wild Automotive was able to diagnose a leaking AC compressor and a broken rear strut on my vehicle, during a routine oil change. I was able to bring my car in the next day to get these repairs completed. The mechanics are very knowledgeable and are able to explain the process to every repair that needs to be done.

I own a business in neighboring Lake Barrington and drive by this shop regularly. Several months ago I noticed a sign out front advertising a great price on brake repair. My vehicle was ready for brakes so I stopped in expecting of course to get an estimate for much more than what they were advertising. I was pleasantly suprised that their quote was very reasonable and I authorized the work.They also conducted a thorough inpection of the vehicle for me and pointed out a few things I'd need soon, one of which was a tune up. I had them go ahead with that and my Tahoe has never run better. Good mechanics here and they won't sell you what you don't need!

We've been using Wild Automotive since they moved into FRG. They are great. I love how Ken goes over the work with me - genuinely telling me about my issues and not demeaning in any way (girl who knows very little about cars). They remember who you are, they treat you like you matter and they have great customer service. If they left FRG tomorrow, I'd bring my car(s) to wherever they moved. Quite simply - they rock!!!
