We have been taking our cars to Denny at Performance Unlimited for quite sometime now and ALWAYS receive the best service! Denny is always honest and fair when taking care of our cars. Most of all, he cares about our safety, and wouldn't let us drive away without knowing our cars are in top notch working order! If you are looking for an auto repair shop to give you peace of mind, we highly recommend Performance Unlimited!

I have been using Denny Norton's services for many years and found the quality of repairs and quote accuracy to be second to none. He loves cars and the people that drive them. He has a family owned and operated business where every employee treats you with the same level of respect that Denny does. My Ford has over 200K miles and I expect to have it running like new for many months to come thanks to the excellent service provided by the skilled techs at Performance Unlimited.

I called them at 12:30 on Monday with an emergency repair, I was house sitting and my jeep wouldn't start. Denny offered to take a look at it same day but couldn't guarantee they'd have the time to fix it. I had it towed over, and by 3:30 he called to let me know it was a battery issue and they were able to put a new one in for me. He also was able to send someone over to pick me up; Michael was great too. I was so, so relieved and beyond grateful. Since I'm in the area often enough I asked about getting regular car work done there since they showed me in that one visit they are decent and honest. I'm definitely planning to bring my jeep back!

I have been a customer of Performance Unlimited for quite a few years now. I have 3 cars serviced there and am always confident of accurate diagnosis and treatment of problems and that the maintenance visits are trustworthy. I highly recommend Performance Unlimited for any automotive needs. The business is well run and operated by owner Denny Norton. His staff are certified well trained mechanics that are truly knowledgeable. It is appreciated that work to be done is detailed and courteously explained. Pricing is reasonable and honest without hidden fees. Great service! Got an oil change and I was out of there in under 30 mins!!! Love that this is a family owned business that's been around for decades. Denny is very nice and appreciates all of his customers! This is our new go to!

We are a long time and happy customer of Denny and his team. They have proven time and time again that they put the customer first. Concerning this repair...it was a bit challenging as there were a couple problems and the second one did not manifest itself right away and it required a second visit to resolve. That didn't prevent the Performance team from making the repair quickly while at the same time keeping the cost to a minimum.Services: Air conditioning, Auto maintenance

The service we get at Performance Unlimited is reliable and friendly. The price is reasonable also. I feel comfortable leaving my vehicles for repairs and asking Denny to check out a noise or a mechanical issue on them. I know repairs will be done correctly and the cost is very reasonable. They check over the vehicle and alert me of something to watch for and will need attention in the future. It nice to have a reliable mechanics close by. I have never been disappointed in 10 years!

Denny and his staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They have always been very thorough when service my vehicles. I trust them to provide an honest evaluation of the work that is necessary for my vehicle and know I am not being overcharged or worry that they are suggesting unnecessary repairs in order to make an extra dollar. Fair + honest + reliable + efficient = satisfied car owner and peace of mind.Thank you Performance Unlimited.Another stress free experience. My car was down and due to a delay in obtaining a part I was without my car for 5 days. Denny provided me with transportation so my schedule would not be disrupted. Had an oil leak in my Mercury. Not only did Denny and his crew find and fix the leak, they were able to squeeze me in at the last minute. While fixing the leak, they also changed my spark plugs, potentially saving hundreds in labor Down the line. The cost, incidentally, was very reasonable. Just a joy to do business with. Recently took my car in for oil change and new tires. I always get great service at Performance Unlimited and they do a really good job of informing me of things they notice that will need attention down the road as my car has 168,000 miles on it. Denny and his team have always been great to me and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a place to take their vehicle for service or repairs.

Performance Unlimited is the best auto repair shop around. I have been using Performance Unlimited for anywhere between 15-17 years I would not trust anyone with my vehicle. The keep my whole family safe and my vehicles running at top performance. I would like to give a big THANK YOU to Denny and his crew for everything they do for me.

We've been taking are vehicles to Performance Unlimited for years. Denny (the owner) has definitely gone the extra mile when it comes to going out of his way to help us. He's got a very busy shop but he still gets us in and out. He's picked up my husband's truck from his work place to work on it during the day so we wouldn't be inconvienience and have to bring it to him after work and leave it over night. I like that he doesn't replace parts you didn't ask him too.... lol. They will call you and make a suggestion before replacing something and then charging extra on the bill. They all know what there doing, we've never had a problem with his work or his prices. We're always happy with our service so hope you will be too.Performance Unlimited has a great team mechanic's you won't go wrong taking your vehicles to them.

I strated using Performance Unlimited about 2 yeats ago, the level of service and quality of their work is great, several times I've brought vehicles in that could have had major problems, and they call to say we found it was something much less costly.Honest and dependable repairs seperate them from their competitors.

Excellent shop with great mechanics. I have always had a great experience here and Denny is extremely knowledgeable. They give a great warranty for their work and the pricing is competitive. They have worked on a variety of vehicles, I wouldn't hesitate to bring anything here.

I think his business and employee are the best. I took my car in to be looked at because there was a knocking in my dash and Denny fit me in his busy schedule. He diagnosed it and acually fixed it temporary and ordered the part as I was there. But at least I can keep my sanity because it sounded like a loud clock. Thanks Denny your the best!!!! He will always tell you the truth and work with your budget.

This place went above and beyond to fix my car. Near a holiday during a traveling emergency they took care of my car. They were greatly priced and very helpful and respectful. I've never been happier with a dealership. If your looking for a decent understanding place in Illinois this is definitely the place to go!!!!

I recently took my car to Performance Unlimited for an oil change. I appreciate the honesty provided and the service is exceptional! It's rare you find an auto repair place that truly cares for their customers. They check your whole car over to make sure they didn't miss anything and that you understand what is going on and what it will cost. I wish I would have called them up when I needed my brakes replaced I would have saved a ton of money. Now that I have found them, they are stuck with me for life.

Denny, Michele, Scott, and Kevin were AWESOME!! Scott and Kevin went above and beyond to help get my RV and car hauler ready for spring break. This was not an easy job. Nothing went right. Everything they touched needed to be repaired. They were awesome and handled all the problems with great professionalism and patience.Denny and his staff went above and beyond to help me. Great work, knowledge staff. Very reasonably priced. We use them to maintanance on our fleet and their staff understands how critical it is for our vehicles to be back in business. They make sure the cars are in and out in reasonable amount of time.Their technicians perform complete inspections and make recommendations but are never pushy.

Denny Norton and his crew of pros make sure our vehicles are intip top condition. He let know of a recall, in this case he had to refer me to a Ford dealer for the work, he called ahead to make sure they had the part. They go above and beyond to make things right!

I've used Performance Unlimited since they were on 31 in McHenry. Though I usually work on my own cars, I tend to do the simpler things, like oil, brakes, water/power steering pumps, etc. However, when I have a problem, these guy's have helped me out numerous times. They are definitely honest and trustworthy!

Simply said: more knowledgeable, courteous, and cheaper than the franchise shops, with all of the benefits. I ve been taking all of my cars there for nearly 20 years. They ve done all of my programmers, exhausts, injectors, lift kits, tires, brakes, emission issues, oil changes, etc... Wouldn t go anywhere else!
