I can t believe no one is trained to take commercial account payments because the system has change. Unbelievable. And commercial account leave early before 5:30 .

I received great service today. I went in for a refund. They have a practice of charging you for lubricant whenever you purchase any bulb for your car. So watch your receipt for the extra $1.99. They shouldn't automatically add this purchase without asking the customer.

Went in to get a battery that part went very smoothly I've gotten at least 5 batteries in the past and had them installed no charge. I asked about installation they said they had a mechanic that could do it if I didn't mind going to him he was working on a car and was right down the street which turned out to be 2 blocks away I said fine he knocked it out in about 10mins I said thanks started to get into my SUV and he said no you got to pay me I said no I didn't how much he said $30 they didn't tell you I said if I had known that I live less than a mile away and have a garage full of tools I could have done it myself I was beyond hot. Paid the man took the old battery back to get my deposit back and told them I didn't know there was a charge and they said he doesn't work for the store but he normally doesn't charge. I let them know that I wasn't happy and I got no response from them. Very unprofessional.

Employees didn't appear too knowledgeable. I asked questions about the account number for an rewards account that I was made aware of when attempting to open an account in the app. I was informed that I already had an existing account. The employee pointed to my phone number and stated that was the account number. I clarified what I needed and said the system generated an awards account that I would like to ensure my purchase was acknowledged towards the account. I was not given a resolve.

Every time I visit this store something happens they sell me parts that aren t the right ones, i try returning them they say it s not in the computer. obviously the guy who did my sale is stealing or something I m a auto shop owner they have no respect for the money i spend at this location the customer service is always horrible store manager going right along whit this nonsense. I won t be returning here ever! If u rent a tool and don t have the receipt they act like u stole it or something. This place is hardly worth the money i spent whit autozone. I m calling everyone u can think of tomorrow.

I would like to give props to the store manager Erica and her complete staff that worked this morning. Every last one of them welcomed me in the store when I came in. I really liked that because I felt the positive energy. I came in to get my battery and alternator tested. The employee that was helping me was a new employee and wasn t completely sure on how to test the alternator but Erica stopped what she was doing and came outside not only to help me but show her employee how to test it. I ended up needing a new battery. They went above and beyond to help change my battery because it wasn t a easy change. It took 3 different employees but They made it happen. I would definitely be returning back to this location for my car part needs. Erica also, suggested I put some fuel cleaner in my car so I took her advice. Overall, I applaud this team just watching them with the customers and helping or acknowledging each individual that walked in this location. I give credit when credit is due. Thanks Richton Park autozone for making a sour day turn out good.

If I could go lower than one star I would. They tested my battery and told me it was bad, and sold me a new one. They also said they would change it out for me, but because of the rain I would have to wait. So I sat around for about an hour only to find out they're not gonna do it and tell me they'll give me the tools and I can do it myself. Only because they don't wanna get wet. This is obviously a poorly run store cuz they don't know there own policy

Bought a headlight bulb. They installed it for me. Staff seemed unapproachable at first, but were very knowledgeable and helpful.

I found what I was looking for quickly but when it came time to pay for it, that's another story. They appeared to have 5 or 6 employees on duty but 3 of them were outside in the parking lot yucking it up with a guy who had the hood of his car up. They didn't appear to be doing any work on his car. I stood at one of the registers for 2 minutes waiting for someone to ring me up. Finally an older gentleman came and scanned my item, but the credit card reader didn't work. He stood there staring at the monitor with the mouse in his hand. Every now and then he asked me to try my card again, but it still wasn't being read. After the fourth failed attempt I asked if we could try another register & card reader. He looked around and mumbled something I couldn't understand. Then a young lady who I assume was the manager came to his rescue. He told her that it wasn't working. Then it was her turn to give it a try, which of course didn't work. Again I asked if we could use another register. Without answering me she walked away towards the older gentleman who was now fiddling with another register, so I walked over to them. She scanned my item again. I was looking at the screen of the card reader and it said to insert my card, so I did. When I did that she scolded me saying that I was supposed to wait until she told me to insert the card because I could mess up the process again. I told her the reader said insert card so I did. Then the reader asked for my PIN # and the sale finally went through. 10 minutes to pay for one item! Needless to say, I won't be spending any more of my time and money at this Auto Zone location again!

Today Monday the 3rd at 2:08 the people that are working there are so slow that we went in for a gas lid and waited for ever end up going else we're they need some new people in there

Great customer service. Greeted when I first walked in and helped right away. Looked up the wipers I needed and even though it was cold and snowing didn't have a bad attitude when I asked him to install them for me

Came to AutoZone today 02/24 to get a new battery,the guy i met couldn't tight my battery terminal and he unprofessional asked me to go without fixing my battery terminal. He told me there was nothing he could do about it. I had my 3 kids in the car and it was rainy and very cold outside,spent 1 hour 30 minutes. I appreciate the lady that came to fix the terminal, she was professional. Please teach the guy on duty tonight good customer service. He was really arrogant and unprofessional.

This is easily the worse Autozone I have ever been to. The staff was difficult in every way from the manager on duty on down to the rest of the staff. I called to see if they had a specific part, the staffer who answered the phone was so distracted talking to the other staff members she made me repeat myself a number of times, she would start talking in the middle of my answer, not to me but someone else. When I went into the store the complete my transaction to order the part, (can t do that over the phone because autozone won t trust the staff not to steal), when a different staffer is entering my order (and being more focused than the rest of the staff, the manger on duty interrupted and ask that person go do something else. Wow wouldn t let him complete the sale, even when I objected. Manager should be fired. The part didn t show up as promised I had to go back to get my card refunded, again because autozone can t trust employees to not steal. Don t go here ever.

Not good the young lady needs to learn customer service. Was not helpful and nasty with customers. Over heard her using profanity and had customers waiting to check out while the other Male employee was helping clients she was doing inventory.

I just went there to purchase a battery for my truck. I have an inverter that is hooked up to the battery and they told me they did not feel comfortable replacing my battery because there was another wire hooked up to the terminal post. They said they did not feel comfortable touching it. If they don't know how to change a battery, they are in the wrong line of business. The obese African American Girl that works the front desk said she did not feel comfortable because she did not know how to change a battery.Update- immediately went a few miles up the road to Chicago Heights and they had no problem! Guess you need competence!

I stopped by AutoZone this evening for oil. I was hoping that someone could assist me in making a selection and put the oil in my car. Upon entering, an employee by the name of Taariq greeted me and asked if he could assist me...just what I was hoping for. He was helpful, courteous and very knowledgeable. He helped me chose the right oil for my vehicle and after assisting several customers, he put the oil in for me. It was a great experience thanks to Taariq.

Nice friendly store! Spoke as soon as I arrived offered assistance as well and installed my wiper blades without me even asking! Best Autozone I've ever been to!
