Outstanding is the best word to describe this team. The V8 Speed and Resto Shop is a large team of car enthusiasts that are well versed in building, repairing, restoring and/or improving your car. I was extremely happy with the outstanding work that they did on the restoration of my family heirloom. They listened to what I wanted, provided input, guidance and kept me up to date with every step - even though I am 800 miles away, If you are interested in restoring your car the right way, then this is where you need to take your car!

We are a Boston based Speed Shop, reached out to Kelly and her team about some business questions, and they were direct and informative this is truly what makes the car community great. I can only imagine how thorough their builds are. It's an easy choice, and you need it built best talk to kelly and her team!

Brought my 1967 Mustang home today. Between the shop and I, we put 1/2 the miles my old man did in 27 years over 4 months. She runs great again after a 30 year hiatus from sunlight.The team at V8 Speed & Resto is top notch. I dropped the car off after it hadn't run in 30 years and didn't need a full rebuild but needed a bunch of work to get it so I could drive it again. They went above and beyond with the service, communication, and cost.Everytime I swung by, was called, or emailed it was a professional experience. On top of that, they were more than happy to host me whenever I came out to see progress. They also loved to share stories and let me see cool (everything there) while I was visiting.This is the only place I'll bring my 67 Mustang GT convertible for work.Out of shops, I've been in lots, this one is rated 100/100. Highly recommend.

I had my 1979 Firebird Formula at the V8 Speed and Resto Shop last year and they were great.I had a Holley Snipper EFI, new fuel tank, electric fuel pump, and a complete Magna Flow exhaust system installed. They kept me informed on the progress calling me with updates and and always sending me pictures.I would give them a GRADE OF A for the work accomplished by their staff, and would recommend V8 Speed and Resto Shop to anyone wanting there classic cars done right.The staff is very friendly and you really become part of the V8 Speed and Resto Shop family.THE V8 SPEED AND RESTO SHOP TEAM is very knowledgeable at what they do, making sure that you get the best work on your car done the right way.

I originally took my Pontiac to them to get it some final details sorted out from a restoration done at another shop. They did such nice work, I had it back later to get an EFI and and overdrive installed, Top notch!

I took my 1978 Bandit Trans Am for some mild upgrades to Kelle and Kevin at V8 Speed and Resto Shop and had an amazing experience. The whole staff were amazing and made my experience personal not only in regards to the work but as people. I got to know several of the people there and they were all top notch, friendly and very knowledgeable. Kelle and Kevin are genuine people with great hearts. They listened to my goals for the car and paid great attention to detail. They specialize in making your experience the best it can be and back it up with top notch work and attitudes. After having numerous less than stellar experiences with other shops in the St Louis area, this was an eye opening exceptional experience. My one and only regret is that I wish I had more cars for them to work on. I will NOT consider taking my cars any where else except V8 Speed and Resto. I highly recommend them and you will not find a better shop with more knowledgeable people and exceptional customer service. Simply the best!!!! Thank you Kelle, Kevin and staff for making my Bandit Trans am the car I always wanted it to be.

The people at V8 Speed and Resto Shop did excellent work for me and were very professional. They were able to take care of all of my concerns for my car and also helped with some new and creative ideas for my interior. I would recommend them for any car projects that you might have.

V8 Speed & Resto Shop is the best place to go for any work you need done on your classic car our truck. I have been a customer there for several years, starting with maintenance work on my 1979 Jeep and also taking care of my 68 Malibu. Kevin, Kelle, and the whole team have an incredible amount of knowledge about classics, whether it be keeping things orginal or a modern resto upgrade. Recently, V8 completed a front suspension update on my Malibu to improve handling. The crew gave me several options and reccomended a preferred solution. I am continually impressed with their attention to detail. They are meticulous with my classics and I appreciate it very much. By far, the best part of working with V8 Speed & Resto is their customer service. They get it. The team knows everyone has a different style, suttle tastes, and varying budgets. V8 does everything possible to make sure their customers are happy.

V8 Speed & Resto brought my 67 Rustang convertible back to life! From start to finish my experience with V8 was fantastic. Top notch work, excellent communication and an extremely knowledgeable staff from top to bottom made my experience a pleasure. I was kept in the loop throughout the entire process and couldn t be happier with the overhaul. Extremely skilled craftsman; they truly love what they do and it shows. Try and find someone with more knowledge than Kevin and Kelle.... I dare you.You will not be disappointed!

Best quality classic restoration and custom automotive work that money can buy - bar none. If you're looking for a small addition of power or a race setup, fresh paint or the best restoration available nationally, these are the people to see about it. Make no mistake - good work doesn't cut it with these folks, only the absolute best results will do. They are perfectionists, and their results speak loudly for themselves. You can be certain V8 Speed & Resto will turn your vision into a reality better than you could have ever imagined.

I towed my car all the way from Detroit, Michigan to have them work on it based on their reputation, and they did not disappoint. Outstanding customer service. Top-notch workmanship. Great communication. I will definitely be going back to them for more upgrades when I m ready.

V8 is a the best there is. These guy have their Sh%t together. if you're going in just for a small patch up or upgrade you still get a thorough examination. What more do we want when we have our hot rods up in the air but to have professional experienced eyes looking out for us.And for extensive upgrades they are just the best as they document everything. No disappointments bringing your dream car here. And there is "always" something cool to checkout while visiting. You are sure to make new friends at V8. A great asset to anyones tool box.

My 1969 Chevelle SS has had lots of work done by the guys at V8 Speed & Resto shop over the past couple years and it been great, from new engine, suspension and some cosmetic work. I would highly recommend them and plan on using them again in the very near future.

I was visiting my home town of Red Bud, and had read about V8 in Hemmings, so I dropped in unannounced to check it out. Sales manager Joe Dahm was welcoming. We had a nice "car guy" chat including another gentlemen who's name I forgot (sorry). Then Joe gave me the tour. The shop looks clean and well organized. And lots of interesting cars from all around the country, even Europe.

Truly an outstanding operation!! Complete vehicle restoration muscle cars primarily great staff great owners! A hidden gym in the auto industry! Will definitely be back again fantastic service!

Kevin, Kelle, and everyone there at V8 Speed and Resto are awesome and provided a lot of professionalism and attention to detail on my 68 Chevelle when it needed it. Chevelle went through a complete overhaul and have been pleased with it since.

If your looking for a place to bring back cool to your favorite ride this is the shop. Did a fantastic job helping me with my '63 Imperial Crown convertible. Highly recommend.

They built me my dream car! Top quality work and an honest caring bunch of car nuts is what you will find at V8TV. This shop has what it takes to build whatever you can think of and do it right.
