Gene's was recommended to me by another shop here in Hannibal glad we went there. Gene worked very hard with our warranty company and they covered the repairs to our transmission 100%. Gene Horton has been building my Race Transmissions since 2006, (8)eight total. I have yet to take one back for rework. He has always used the best of parts. He is probably the most knowledgeable person I have ever met when it comes to power glides. Thanks again Gene. Signed by 1 happy customer!

They had are work van for a month, gene said it would be a week.this guy sucks would stay away from genes unless you want to be ripped off. Up dated on my transmission after 5 months the transmission failed. Took it to Ford new transmission 3 warranty unlimited miles. GENE'S from genes transmission should never work on trannys ever again what a rip off. Stay away from this shop

If I could leave a -1 star review, i would. This company will not call back to businesses they owe money to, showing extremely unethical business practices. By money, I mean thousands. If you plan to do business here, selling to / getting service from, I encourage you to look elsewhere.

BEWARE !!!! ****DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY****Gene's Transmission is over 6 months past due on more than $2400.00 worth of parts our company sold them.They have said several times that they have sent a check. When I call, Cory answers the phone and says that Gene is not there and won't give me his cell number because "it's been acting up". Completely just getting the run around !!!

Was quoted a price for a total rebuild of my transmission but when I picked up my truck the price was 366.00 higher I asked why I was told he didn t control the price of parts I told him he should ve told me up front that the price he quoted was plus any parts price increase he should of known what was going on with prices when he quoted his price.Service: Transmission
