I just moved to the area and have been going to Walmart for many years. I had to buy tires and since I got a road side warranty they gave me a discount and helped me a lot. I've also been back now for my oil change and another tire. I will be going back here for all my needs. The employees are helpful, compassionate, caring, and I would highly recommend them. Thank you so much for all your help. They have high customer service and want you to be satisfied

Drove all the way to Princeton without getting an oil change and I needed one really badly. It was holiday busy and I had called all throughout Peoria and every auto shop that was open was booked all day so was this walmart but they were able to get me in right before close were able to answer all of my questions throughout the day when I was asking about availability, even though they were jampacked and busy. Appreciate it

They have food prices and are knowledgeable. Only complain is the don't carry my oil filter so I always have to go buy one first

After calling ahead and asking for a reservation, show up to be told there is a 2 hour wait. 3 hours later finally got 2 tires put on.

Went to the Dixon, Illinois store. Had a tire losing air. The associate said he would go "look" at it. He went outside and returned in just a couple of minutes. He told my son that he didn't "see" a leak, and that we could go home and spray it with soapy water and look for the leak ourselves. I have never had a service tech say something like that. There were two cars in the bays, and he said if we wanted it pulled in and looked at, it would be about an hour and a half. I called the Princeton store and my son explained to the associate there what had just happened. He told us if we could get to Princeton by 5:30, he would be happy to check it out for us. As we got into our car, other associates were backing out both cars, and there were no other vehicles in line. We drove the 33 miles from Dixon to Princeton. (Mind you, gas was $4.10 per gallon.) The Princeton associate found that we had a leaky valve stem and replaced it. Long story short, don't go to Dixon Walmart's auto care center. Their associates always seem to be rude also.

I'd love to be able to give an assessment on the actual service here, but over the past hour they haven't even answered the telephone. When you call, you will be placed on hold, after 10 minutes on hold, the call will automatically disconnect. I am now on call attempt number 7 as I write this review. How does someone make an appointment at a place that doesn't answer the telephone? I could have driven there and back by now, but I know if I show up without an appointment, I'm going to lose another 3 hours or more. Honestly though, what can one expect when going to Walmart for a mechanic? Suppose I will have to drive out there, hope I can just buy my tires off the shelf, and take them back to King Tire in LaSalle.

Had issue with battery purchased this past summer from Walmart. As soon as the weather got below freezing the car wouldn't start after sitting all night. Battery tested bad, and was replaced with a different battery group with higher CCA. Tech checked all the dimensions to make sure it would fit, even the height of the battery so it didn't short out on the hood. Haven't had any starting issues so far, but it hasn't been in the teens like it was when the issues with the other battery started. Tech said even if the CCA drops with colder temps, the higher CCA of the larger battery shouldn't drop below the above freezing CCA of the previous battery. That's quality technical service right there, not just a part swapper. Coming back to buy tires soon. Thanks!Service: Battery

Walmart auto center in Princeton Illinois always does such an amazing job. The employees are always so polite and helpful. They take time to answer questions and explain things. I would highly recommend them.

Absolutely horrible. Wont take appointments for oil changes and they actually had a pregnant lady waiting there for over an hour just to talk to someone about her car. If there were a 0 out of 5 this is what it would get from me.

Stripped the lug nuts on my tire and over tightened the lugs so they were unable to service my tire when I went back

Come in at 7:30, leave at 10:30. Expect to spend at least 1 hour, per car ahead of you, waiting. They are slow, and several times I looked out the waiting area window, nobody was working on a vehicle. The manager seemed moody and disgruntled, a half hour after the place opened. Very unprofessional.

I've been waiting for over two hours to get a battery installed. There is one car getting teo tires and one that was supposed to be a battery in front of me. I wont be back here again.

Changed my oil and broke my oil pressure sending switch....tried telling me it was a pinched oil filter. Gasket....have gone thru 2 quarts in 256 miles!!!
