DO NOT RECOMMEND!! Filthy and stunk, staff very nice but they need to clean more, seriously it was bad. Carpet was so dirty if was scary. The smell that came from the heater in our room was so bad we could not even turn the heat on!! The smell of someone smoking weed was very strong in the hallways. Giving it a one star for the nice staff only.Rooms: Dirty .stink ..filth on the floor, carpet, toilet did not flush right

HIDDEN GEM - BEST HOTEL IN TOWN & THE BEST PRICETraveling to Town for work as well as recreation several times a year, I have spent several days at each of the 4 Hotels in Princeton.Since the New Ownership took over here at the Econolodge the property has become beautiful, the building has been updated, and each room that I have stayed in felt "CLEAN". (If you stay in lots of hotels like me .... you know when a room feels "DIRTY" lolol - here is quite the opposite)The staff is warm and inviting. Can't say enough good things about this place.I would Highly Recommend this place to anyone traveling on a budget.

Don't stay here! The entire hotel smelled like weed being covered with insence. The floor was sticky and gross.. my shoe actually came off at one point because it was stuck. We were there for 3 days at not once was there anyone at the front desk. The water took 10 min to get hot. The bed was super hard and uncomfortable. In one descriptive word: sketchy. Word of advice: keep driving.

We have stayed here 3 years in a row. We come in from Tn to spend the weekend with family. Location is convenient. Rooms are clean. Bed was harder than I would have liked. No continental breakdast was offered, just coffee. Staff was very friendly and acted quickly to my concerns or complaints. I was a little disappointed with the parking lot activity that went on until well after midnight. It appears as if the local "Lot" workers have decided the Econo Lodge is the place for their customers. This REALLY looks bad for busines. I have never experienced this until this year. Disappointed to see this is allowed to take place here. Prayer for owners as I know they are dealing with some medical issues.Rooms: Clean but bed was hard, toilet would not flush.

Filthy room. Dried vomit or food on floor near bed. No mop. No broom. Tried to use towel to clean and that's when I realized the whole floor was filthy.Rooms: The positive thing was that the wifi worked.

Don't stay there if you have other options. It's right off the freeway, only real good thing. The whole building feels dirty & run down. Our room was clean around the beds, but the bathroom was not clean and the door wouldn't close it was so old. We made a reservation based on reviews being generally ok, but arrived at midnight off the road, then when we needed until 11:15 to get out of the room the staff was very rude for the extra 15 minutes(come on, single mom traveling with two kids - 15 minutes is not a big deal). Also, they don't have breakfast as was advertised on our reservation. Just not worth it of you have other options.

Let me start by saying this place is Awesome with a capital A. If your looking to go back to the 1980's this is the place. Takes me back to my childhood, cruising with dad while he smokes camel none filters drinking a cold one. Hopefully you travel alone the are beds so big you can roll around and not have to worry about falling off. A little helpful tip don't put your drinks on the front desk counter it will cost ya. Its also a great place to teach your kids to read because there are sign up everywhere telling you what not to do. So if your looking a great place to cook up some of Princeton's finest this the place for you. Its available for day, weekly or monthly depending on the amount you want to cook. Let me finish by telling you they do have great pool and helpful staff, plus a shopping cart to help with bring items in side.

Booked a room here through priceline. Got here turns out hotel is sold out sign on the door. Ok, use phone at front desk to call attendant like note on desk says. Guy answers the phone and ask if he can help me. I say ya I'm supposed to have a reservation. With that he got extremely pissy with me and "How is that when we are sold out." Then when he finally showed up someone else (Owner/Manager) walked in from the other doors. Then he wanted to be all apologetic. Wasn't my fault the hotel and priceline screwed up. Honestly glad it fell through hotel looked like a rough spot for a rough crowd 0 of 5 stars

I found the reception to be the best part of it. It seems to be ran by a husband+wife couple, and they were very kind and personable. Getting to my room was... unpleasant. The stairwell had a horrible smell, the hallway smelled. Luckily the room wasn't incredibly stinky too. As we started to unpack, my fiance found the room had not been properly cleaned from the last guests, finding the lid from a food container behind the window side night stand. The chair and ottoman in the room were deeply dirty looking and have burn holes on them. The floor was sticky in a couple spots. Thank God there were no bed bugs, unless I missed it when I checked for them. The shower had a broken wash cloth piece that was very poorly replaced and not sealed at all with a PVC pipe. The bathroom counter has damage...all in all, it's a place to sleep, but bring Lysol to spray the room down if you choose to stay here, had I not been extremely exhausted and in pain I would have switched hotels for the night and got a refund.Edit: After seeing another review say they were charged more than they were told they would be, I've checked my account, I was charged $102, which is more than what the receptionist showed me when I signed for the room last night, about 80 total. I do NOT recommend you choose this location.

There were cockroaches in the room and a straight up hole in the ceiling were the fire alarm was meant to be. It was concerning and disgusting.

Booked a room. Was denied for service animal. Showed document of service animal and offered a copy of American with disability act. Was told they don't care. Woman was very rude . Would give this place a 0 if I could. She then refused to cancel the reservation. I had to call choice to complain and have it canceled. Do not stay here.

Grateful Biker : I give it 5 stars for one reason my other choice was to set up a tent in the 52F rain. Im on a motorcycle trip with my girlfriend and we tent it when possible but the temp just dropped to 52 and its pouring and Econo hooked me up, Im grateful for this Hotel. It was cheap , it was last minute, it had a warm shower for my girlfriend, and it has a roof. This place is not fancy and its not very well kept up but the room was clean for being a hotel with low standards. I cant say nothing bad about the place because Im grateful that for 70 bucks I had a place warm for my girl to rest . I took photos for you to see what I saw the next morning when I was packing the bike. So you decide yourself if you would stay here But again Im thankful. I hope this helps you in your decisions. By no means that I ever feel unsafe or uncomfortable and yes for under 80 bucks We both agreed we d stay here again. Follow me if you like and my travels on Instagram at mylifemyterms55

Would give zero stars if available. I booked through Expedia to get a pet friendly room in a pet friendly hotel. Which I did. It stated there was a $20 additional charge for pets, I have no problem with that. I get to the front desk, it s almost 2am, I ve been driving for days now, and I ve already paid for the room. The woman behind the desk says she can only take cash and tells me to get out. I tell her I ll run across the street to an atm, I do so. I then ask to see the printed paper policy where it says it needs to be paid in cash. She hand writes CASH ONLY on the policy and hands it to me. She tells me to get out again. I ve disputed the charge, don t book here.

My son (EMT/Firefighter) was driving cross country from Virginia to Oregon to fight wild fires. After 12 hours of driving, he stopped at your hotel to sleep for the night and was turned away because he s 20. The fact that a firefighter who is traveling a distance like that was turned away because of his age is just dumb. Interesting, nobody has turned him away on a 911 call when he s there to help. This needs to be addressed.

What s there not to like? It met and/or exceeded my expectations. Friendly Indian couple are evidently the proprietors. When I had to wait to check in because of a guest taking an unusually long time to check in the proprietor gave me a bottled water which was a very nice gesture. The hotel grounds are landscaped and neat. My room was clean and stocked with all the essentials. There was even an indoor pool that I didn t know about until the next morning while getting the continental breakfast. All in all a very pleasant experience. If I ever roll through Princeton again I won t even check the other hotels.Oh by the way check the cement bulldog in the landscaping by the front entrance. I have named him Ian.

There were 2 pillows that were 12x12.. on a full bed.. the comforter resembled a curtain and was not warm whatsoever.. the second blanket on the shelf looked chewed on and was of very low quality.. the bed wasn't very comfortable at all..I was woken up on the morning to fire alarm due to someone smoking .. my stay was not restful or enjoyable

The front desk woman took a long time to come out and was half asleep and very rude at check in. The room itself was comfortable. When I got home I noticed I left behind some precious pictures from iur vacation and know exactly where in the room I left them. When I called the woman practically yelled at me and stated We didn t find nothing, before I even had a chance to tell her my name or room number and reservation. Would not recommend due to this rude woman!

Reserved a room through the choice hotels app at 1pm drove 9 hours from Pittsburgh, PA just to get there and have the front desk lady tell me they don't have any rooms available until Oct 31st. Apparently there's something wrong with the 2 rooms it said were available. But rather then call me or even cancel my reservation in the 9 hours I was driving so I'd know to find somewhere else they don't bother to tell me anything until I show up then act like I should just know that they have no vacancy.

Pretty poor option, even if you JUST need to crash a few hours. I was traveling solo - had my wife been with me, there's no way she would have stayed here. The whole building smells moldy/smoky/food soaked. My room, which appears to have some level of recent reno, also smelled pretty smoky. When I walked in, the A/C unit was off and the window fully open. The A/C did work. Stuck to the A/C control panel was a big wad of gum. Nice. The sheets and blankets had stains, but the worst was the stained shower curtain liner - I don;t even want to guess what that was. I did my 5-6 hours of sleep and escaped. PS - the wifi didn't work either.
