What a great place - loads of things to shop for inside - many unique items. It was like a small museum, with a couple displays, lots of shopping, many touristy things and lots of great gift items and things for the kids. Great food choices to purchase as well. Loads of parking, get gas here also. Just off I-55 in Pontiac. Great place to stop and relax for a while!

This place is Absolutely amazing . Our family always goes here to refuel after driving most of the way to Chicago from St.louis. Amazing service. Everyone is so kind. They have a great variety of snacks and drinks! Don't even get me started on restrooms. I haven't ever seen cleaner restrooms in a gas station before. Love it so much! Don't hesitate just go.

8-29-23Very nice clean place!Many items for travel. Books, games, board games, toys and gadgets for the kids on a long road trip...Camping equipment.Their turkey jerky is excellent! Many other flavors of excellent jerky and sausage sticks.Many souvenirs.So much cool stuff!Just stop in and browse around!Fair gas prices!Update 3-6-24... We stopped in on our way to Naperville and had the pleasure of meeting a true Patriot Mike Lindell here today!My wife got a pic with him!

Wanted to see what the hype was all about, so we stopped in at about 7:30pm. There is a lot of gas pumps and they have an area where electric cars can get a charge. We didn't need gas, so we just went inside to browse. I was hoping to find some freshly caramelized nuts, but didn't see any. We walked around for a bit and found some snacks (candy and freshly popped popcorn). They have a variety of drinks at the drink station, lots of beef jerky choices and what looked like freshly baked baked goods (muffins, donuts, etc). Need alcohol? They have plenty of choices. Home goods? Be sure to check out the home goods area. They even have a toy section. Bathrooms are clean. They carry lots of items and now I can say that I've visited. It's a good place to stretch out the legs while on a road trip.

Wally's takes gas station rest stops to the next level. The place is super clean, large variety of food, snacks, and beverages. They have fresh made sandwiches, popcorn, and coffee.

Loved this stop off the highway! As soon as you walk in, the atmosphere is so energizing with the bright lights and the 80's music playing loudly inside. The vendor options are wonderful, especially the beef jerky station where you can mix and match flavors and pay by weight. This place seems to have everything you could ever possibly want to snack on, plus lots of Wally's and Route 66 memorabilia to purchase (hats, shirts, keychains, magnets, etc). The staff were super friendly and this being only the 2nd location open so far, we hope they will eventually spread up to the East Coast!

This place was recommended to us while traveling for its bar b que. We were comparing it to Buc-ee s, it was very similar, but a tad smaller. The bar b que may have been a little better, but was pretty small. Would go back next time I am in the area!!

Wally s I have to give this gas station 5 stars. huge store inside lots of gas pumps they make their own jerky inside plus barbecue, and a bakery. Cool place to stop when you re on the road for a snack, beverage or Wally s apparel, and more.

If you like Buckees, you will like this place. Similar in a lot of ways. Ice is certainly more expensive than the last time I was at Buckees. But otherwise a great stop.

Excellent place to stop! But give yourself some time to look around and shop. Whether it's souvenirs, a quick slooshie or some on the spot BBQ, Walley's does not disappoint.Come for the beautiful spacious bathrooms leave with a shopping experience that you won't soon forget!

As you walk in, you smell the popcorn. The restrooms were clean and tidy. Just like a small Buc-ee's but just as cool. There, Mascotte is a bear, so I can't say anything bad about that. Restrooms have the coolest sink system. Soap,water,air all in one. Loved our first visit.

This is a must stop for any road vacationer. This is so cool. Very large full travel stop. Tons of pumps! Electric chargers too. Inside many food choices. Clean restrooms. Ultimate travel stop!! the only thing that I would suggest is possibly putting picnic tables outside so they are places for people that order the food on the inside to sit down and eat and enjoy. Other than that this is one of the best car stops that I have ever been to.

I went to Wallys for the first time. It was so nice! It's definitely the place to stop when you're on a road trip. The store is huge with a lot of snacks and food to choose from and a large souvenir/gift area with plenty of cute things. There are a lot of bathroom stalls all kept extremely clean, and I really liked the sinks because you could wash and dry your hands in the same spot. Everything was reasonably priced in the store as well.

Easy to find, no missing this place. Plenty of gas pumps. The first thing walking in is the smell of popcorn. Doesn t matter which entrance. A large variety of items to purchase. Food/clothes/keychains, bakery items. Clean bathrooms/ clean store.

As a person who loves Buccees, I feel like Wally s raises the bar. Went for the first time today, and super thankful that as a person of color, was greeted with courtesy and respect. Employees seemed all to be pleasant and friendly without being over the top or rude in anyway. Great food too. Loved the chicken tender sandwich.

You need to stop by here! This is one of the best gas stations I've seen. So much great merchandise. Everyone was so helpful. Tons of food to choose from. Prices are good. The place is clean and well organized. This place is great!

Wow very nice store staff not friendly $7.50 for a brisket sandwich a little high for gas station food in my opinion. Great location clean restrooms. It s nice seeing a niche gas station up north now . Being a car guy seeing Jeep Wagoneer out front was worth the stop for me. She s looks to be a driver .

Great place to stop. They have so many different kinds merch. Popcorn, jerky, baked goods, restroom, all great. They even have bomb Brisket. And yes I've tried everything I mentioned. That's the end of the Brisket in the pic, I didn't want to stop eating to take a pic.

Wally s has it all!!! Absolutely stunning and spacious bathrooms, an elite energy drink and beef jerky selection and so many cool things to look at while you stretch your legs. Not to mention the rows and rows of gas pumps so there s never a wait to fill up. They also have electric car charging stations. The staff is super friendly too!

$$$. (Expensive)Got a bacon egg & cheese biscuit - really dry and seemed old.Kitchen sink burrito was slightly better -at least it still had some moisture - and had good flavors. Coffee is weak, even by gas station standards.Bathrooms were clean and really cool sinks We hoped it would be more like Buc-ee s, though

We were told that we needed to stop by Wally's when we were on our way home from Chicago so we made it a point to stop so we could check it out. Upon arriving at Wally's we noticed how clean it was and how polite and attentive the employees were. I think we were greeted by probably five different people. There weren't many people there at the time so we didn't know if they were open. I was quite impressed by the bathrooms I couldn't believe the faucets, it was the first time I'd ever seen anything like that, a soap dispenser, the water and the blow dryer all in one faucet! It was fantastic I wish more places had that! The bathroom was exceptionally clean and I love the whole layout of everything! We probably spent about 30 minutes and the gas station just looking around at things and enjoying seeing new stuff. We taste tested the beef jerky and that was surprisingly delicious we bought ourselves a pound of that to share with the family! We know that we'll be stopping back by here for beef jerky in the future! Thank you for having great customer service and being one of the best gas stations I've ever visited!Edited* 7/31/2021Today we visited Wally's again and sweet Summer was packing up all of the popcorn & the popcorn had already closed. Even though she was busy she was nice enough to bag me a bag of Oreo popcorn. She was working so hard to get caught up since popcorn area wasn't open yesterday. We always enjoy (3rd time now) visiting this gas station again we probably spent 30 minutes inside this time and got our fill on all of our Specialties that we like including the beef jerky!

A larger than life food-and-shop pit stop.Pros: Large selection of food, prepped in house More jerky and jam than fathomable. Bathrooms are well maintained. A nice place to mosey around, stretch your legs, find a overpriced souvenir. They have every drink and American road trip snack imaginable.Cons: their soda machine, despite having every possible flavor, is flat and warm. Icee machines are not looking very promising, either.Honorable mention: their chips! A must try for chip lovers.

Love Wally's! Best prices for gas in Illinois. You can get waffle cone ice cream, slushy, candy, bakery items, and hot fresh pizza or sandwiches.

Fun place! I know everyone talks about the bathrooms, and there is a reason they are amazing. We got drinks and snacks. They are known for their barbecue and their popcorn, as well as their baked goods. You definitely feel you are on a road trip!

It is my very first time visiting Wally's today. I was driving on my way to Chicago, and I stopped at Wally's for gas. It already seems interesting from outside. I started taking pictures outside and couldn't resist going inside. I found it very beautiful in the store, inside out. It was like a shopping mall. There is so much stuff. It's huge. Everything is organized beautifully. The gas station is huge, and there is an electric charging station as well. Although it was out of service this time.

Quite the place they have there. A ton of options for snacks, sodas, bakery items, and even fresh barbecue. Some items are priced a bit exorbitantly, but a lot of stuff is fairly priced. Surprisingly they have almost as much camping gear as they have at many sporting good stores. Lots of parking, but the parking lot can be super busy and you need to be very attentive.

We made an intentional stop on our way home from vacation - perfect pit stop! Cleanest gas station bathrooms I've ever seen. Easy to get in and out of the gas pumps, lots of spots to let your furry friend stretch their legs (and they even have dog bag stations), and tons of snack/drink/gift choices. Soda fountains have Pepsi and Coke. Fresh potato chips, buttery popcorn, kettle corn, and street corn were delicious. Will be back with a hungrier stomach next time to try more food.
