I have been dealing with RJ's Motors for over a decade! I recommend everyone to use them because they have never failed me. They work with you to make sure you get a great car at a great price. They work with everyone and they don't try to haggle you or pressure you into anything. It is worth walking in the doors and speaking with them!

Bought an SUV from RJs back in early March, drove it around a bit and seemed to drive fine. The car wasn't the most pristine on the interior and had a pet odor in it, fine whatever. BUT late November/early December of the same year, I am told by 2 mechanics that there are multiple issues with the engine and that I need a new engine and the CONDEMNING thing is is the fact that it was discovered that the "Check Engine" light appears to have been disabled! SO THESE GUYS SOLD ME A CAR THAT HAD ISSUES WITH THE ENGINE AND THEY COVERED IT UP! Because I've had at least 2 if not 3 oil changes/maintenances on the car since then and so it's not like I was neglecting the vehicle.SO I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND GOING TO RJS AND IT APPEARS OTHERS HAVE HAD THE SAME ISSUES IF YOU READ SOME OF THE OTHER REVIEWS!!!

<<<Review after PURCHASE>>>I was looking for a specific used low miliage car and found the one I wanted via the Internet. RJ Motors was contacted and I spoke to Ron who owns the dealership. We settled on a price via the telephone and I drove 370 miles to look at the vehicle, test drive it and then ended up purchasing it. It was a very pleasant experience which was assisted by Bob. I paid cash and drove home that same day. On the drive home the vehicle performed 100% up to it's expectations and got 38.4 MPG which is fantastic for a 2004 car with only 84,000 original miles. If I needed another car and they had the one I wanted I would buy from them again. Thank you Ron and Bob for an excellent buying experience!TedPS- Having sold cars in the past at a large new/used car dealership in Minneapolis, Minn I greatly appreciate this type of experience in purchasing a car!

If you're looking for a new or used car you definitely want to check this place out. Ron is an amazing car salesman who is extremely honest and won't bulshit you. This is my second vehicle from his lot. I will definitely recommend to any of my family and friends who are looking for a new car to check there first.

WHAT A DEAL!! Our oldest daughter would give 100 stars if it was possible. We called early on a car and I had a lot of questions since we were coming from Indianalolis. They were quick to respond and when we arrived the vehicle was beautiful and ready to go. Ron and Bob were awesome.We will be looking here for our next car even though we are 4 hours away. Highly recommend. - The Hunt Family

I been dealing with RJ motors for over 8years and Ron the owner makes sure each customer is treated fairly and tries to work with each customer no matter their circumstances!! Ron is far from Racist or a Con he helped many others and I get the Vehicle we wanted and I will continue to recommend and buy from RJ Motors Thanks Ron and staff

After nearly 10 emails back and forth, going to the bank to get the money to pay for the vehicle, and making arrangements for a 350 mile trip to get the vehicle in the morning I am suddenly told that it is sold. I was told that it would be held if they knew I was coming which they did know by the previous 5 emails that they happily responded to. They can't even be honest and upfront and just say that the first one who shows up with cash in hand can drive it home so don't bother otherwise. I was skeptical because of other reviews to begin with but this only confirmed what others have said. When we have nothing else besides emails or phone calls to go by there is an expectation that a reputable business will honor their word. Instead they act just like the used car dealership stereotype says they should and do what's best for them that moment!

We have been in the area for 16 years and have bought 7 cars from RJ Motors. We will always go there first when looking for a used car. They are fair, honest and great to work with.

Anybody who is looking for a used vehicle I recommend that you go visit Bob at RJ motors. They are very flexible and very friendly. If something Goes wrong with your vehicle they will fix it for very cheap. They offer flexible payment plans and actually work with people. When I first moved to Plano seven years ago I got a vehicle from them and I lost my job and was in unable to pay it and I had to give it back recently started my own business and they gave me another chance they are an amazing company who have huge hearts!

No problems at all. Put a down payment on a car a personal check. Filled out paperwork. They insisted on a test drive before anything. Let me check over the car and I asked questions about the car. Friendly people and polite.

This place is the worse place to buy a car from. I'm young and felt as a first time car buyer this should have been a wonderful experience. I came in with a down payment of almost $3,000 for my vehicle & had problems with my vehicle the next day. They seriously make you feel like they can help you by allowing you to finance through them with affordable low monthly payments. Their famous line; "Make a payment when you can". But accumulate loads of interest. Ron is a scam. Mechanics and Auto zone in Plano have advised he is known to scam people and many vehicles sold by Ron are brought to their shops for work. He buys vehicle from auctions that look nice on the outside and his mechanics do little work to make the car run as normal until they break down. I've gone through 3 cars with them and they were all junk. Be careful going to this place, would not recommend this to anyone. I will be posting this on social media.

This dealership is terrible! I called them the night before to say that I would be coming to look at a car and ask them if it is still available. They tell me yes so I ask if I need to set up an appointment or anything and they say no. So I drive 3 and half hours away to go pick up the car for them to tell me that they took a deposit on it right before I got there. Keep in mind when talking on the phone with them the day before they never mentioned I could put a deposit down to keep the car there or anything. Then with being upset they acted like this was my all my fault. I would NOT recommend to do business with this dealership at all. Absolutely terrible!

Went in on 7/23 2022 to buy a car for our son.All the cars are dirty inside and out with one that had dries French fries in the front seat. So if they cant even clean a car im sure they wont fix anything that really needs fixing prior to sale.Very clear that they take no pride in their buisness and would be hard to trust buying a car from them.

My boyfriend bought a car through them and it's been reliable! No problems thus far and we've had it for about 6 months now! I stopped in today to test drive some vehiclesOptions are limited since it's a small lot, nothing felt 100% right for me, but the guys went above and beyond to help me with a decision! I can't remember the one guys name in particular, but he is very honest and answers any questions you have! I'd say overall they are a good lot, just nothing practical for my particular needs. If you need an immediate car they can do it for you though which is very nice(: would recommend to someone in desperate need of transportation!

I recently purchased an Audi A4 from this dealership. The description said "All maintenance was performed" -That was dead wrong. The oil hadn't even been changed. They could provide no information on it as well. I recently spent over $3,000 fixing a car that was supposedly in good condition. Check out the car carefully before you purchase from this place as the description on Autotrader led me to believe I was buying a quality vehicle. There was body damage that was never mentioned and NO maintenance had been performed. They make the cars look excellent in pictures, but on closer inspection, there were several areas that had some really bad body work once I seen it in the sunlight. I know I was buying a used vehicle, but if would have been better if they were upfront with the repairs needed instead of saying it was in good condition while asking top dollar for it.

I called RJ Motors looking for an affordable, safe vehicle to finance with my not so perfect credit. The salesman was informative, polite and gave me several options for the financing . I had visited 5 other dealerships and they were pushy, inpatient and rude when they discovered my not so perfect credit. The economy has affected my family's income and my credit was affected. After several calls and detailed descriptions from the salesman I went to RJ Motors and purchased a minivan. It is good on gas, safe for my children and in great condition just as they had told me on the phone. They financed me from there dealership and I was in and out of there in an hour. I didn't miss the fluff and stuffy environments of the bigger dealerships. RJ Motors is a simple, no nonsense car dealer that helps people. Thank you for helping my family and I.

I purchased a vehicle from them and they hid and covered up all the faults in it. So far as far as I can tell there's copious amounts of motor oil in the engine coolant. Which implies a bad head gasket or cracked head or block. As well as when I further examined the underside of the vehicle there is black sludge all over the undercarriage due to leakage either from the engine or oil pan. There's no way they were oblivious to these extreme problems. I drove the vehicle home parked it got it insured a week later an this is what I get to see first. They were friendly and great face to face and I should have been weary because the staff at rj motors are wolves in sheeps clothing. Beware beware beware.They will cosmetically cover everything up and you'll find out later.

RJs Motors were fantastic to work with. They helped me get a decent truck and get back on my feet!!! I would buy another vehicle from RJs Motors in a heartbeat. I hope when it's time to buy another vehicle they will allow me to fly back and purchase one!!! Thank you guys!!!

I've purchased two cars from RJ Motors. Both did as I hoped provide reliable transportation. They'll work on any car you purchase from them at a much better rate than you'll get at any garage or dealership.

This is a badass little dealership! If you want an affordable car they finance buy here pay here. If you want a hot rod though, this is the place they have it all from 69 chevelle to 2009 corvettes. Stop in for your new used ride!

RJ motors is the absolute WORST place to buy a car. I bought a car here less than a year ago, which, mind you, i am still paying for every month and it is already JUNKIE. i knew buying an older car wouldnt last me forever, but its pretty sick that im not even done paying for the car yet and it is already a piece of crap.Never again will i buy a car here, and i will advise you do the same!
