Great experience, honest communication thru out the process!I googled an auto repair near me and chose the place for its good reviews and then also a referral from a neighbor. I am glad I chose them, quick friendly service. Upfront immediately about the price of the work done on my car and detailed why. Best part was the honest communication from drop off to pick up. No surprises. Felt like I was back home in my little town talking with the local garage down the street. I will recommend Performance Auto to all my family, neighbor and friends in the area.

My excellent review I left a few years ago when I first took my car to Performance Auto still stands! Took my car in yesterday for an oil change and requested the brakes and belts be inspected as they were making noise. As always, Pat and Jeremy, whom I ve come to trust and rely on to keep my 2010 Hyundai running like new, provided excellent customer service and detailed information about the car s needs. Highly recommend!!

Best in the area! Pat and his team saved me around $900 worth of unnecessary work and parts after coming to them from another shop that quoted me an insane amount for brake service. Honesty is their policy and I will now be coming to them for all of my vehicle needs.

First time customer and extremely satisfied with the service. Highly recommend Performance Auto Center. I usually go to another shop in the same area but read the great reviews for this one and decided to give it a chance...so glad I made this choice. My exhaust pipe came loose over the weekend and was making a horrible sound with loss of acceleration...so I made an appointment after hours online to get it checked out. Patrick called me immediately at open of business and was very friendly to accommodate me on such short notice. Jeremy was amazing with his diagnosis of the issue BEFORE he even saw my car!!!!!! He somehow knew exactly what the issue was based on the type of car I had and description I gave of my problem. As I drove up and he heard how the car sounded he was already on the phone making sure he had the proper parts needed. He was spot on with the fix...I was amazed. They solved the problem in a short amount of time and the pricing was very fair. Communication was excellent and they kept their promise for a same day fix. Car is back to normal and I couldn't be happier. They are professional, experienced, efficient and affordable...Will definitely come back for any other car repair needs. Let me start by saying, the GREAT reviews are spot on!I am so grateful that I found performance auto. I highly recommend this place to anyone that needs car service.The customer service ,quality of work, and prices are excellent and let me say, everyone there was polite and friendly.I ve been to this repair shop a few times, and I could tell you that I ve never felt as if I was taking advantage of, I can honestly say this is one of the only trustworthy places that I ve let work my BMW.Pat and his team really go over and beyond to give excellent service. This is my go to place for all of my car repairs.Keep up the great work you guys are truly diamond in the rough. Finding an honest, quality car repair shop It s rare to find. I will be recommending this place to all of my friends and family.

I needed some different things replaced on my Mercedes. They were quick, super friendly and knowledgeable of my car. I have found my TO GO PLACE for all my needs in the future. Let me just say, I don t let ANYONE touch my Mustang. But I trusted Jeremy and his crew at performance auto center to get what I needed done with good quality work. They did some exhaust work on my mustang when no one else would. Pricing was super fair and reasonable and all around a solid staff to work with. I do most of my own work but what I needed done was out of my wheelhouse and these guys stepped up and did amazing work. If I ever need some serious work done again on any car I m paying these guys a visit and I think you should too!

I had a great experience at performance auto, they took care of me. I explained my concerns and they got the job done! I was referred by Mike from Napa who was a customer himself and mentioned how accurate they are. Thank you Jeremy and Pat for doing such a great job on my car and I really appreciate you guys bringing me and forth to work. Did a good job of aligning my Tesla 3. Everyone I dealt with was knowledgeable and friendly. The only thing that would have made it better is if they would have provided a before and after printout of the alignment.

Simply the Best Auto Repair Shop Ever. I would not take my vehicles anywhere else. I drive past the dealers where I purchased my vehicles to have work done by Performance. They have all the best attributes of an honest old-school auto repair shop. They honestly fix your current problem. They help you plan a reasonable repair and maintenance schedule. They are quick, helpful and charge fair prices. I've always felt 100% comfortable with their work and recommendations. You won't sit off a fancy showroom and sip a latte, but you will have great service by hardworking folks who do their best to treat you right. Brought my modified Mustang in for a brake upgrade, during which they discovered a broken strut mount. They worked with me over the next 3+ weeks to find the right combination of aftermarket parts necessary to get the car back on the road in time for my son's senior prom, keeping it on one of their lifts the entire time. Throughout the entire process they communicated with me almost every day on status and helped my find parts/vendors without once mentioning (let alone complaining) about the space I was taking up in their busy garage. Honest Auto Repair FacilityGreat team of people and honest! They have fair and reasonable prices and I can t say it enough, they are trust worthy. I have been in the waiting area a few times and they have had at least two conversations with customers telling them they didn t need something. Extremely fair. Honest. Quick. I've been to many mechanics. When they give you cheaper options and are open and honest about the money you put into an older high mileage car, and could EASILY upcharge you, but don't... Ya. They're good. Lifetime customer is I live in the area!!!I'm adding on to my previous review because I just had more work done. This is yet another example of their honesty. I just had a brand new battery installed by Advanced Auto parts and the battery was only 2 and 1/2 months old. Most other shops could have so easily recommended an alternator because the battery was so new. But no, they checked and realized the brand new battery was defective and even did a check on any kind of power draw to make sure it wasn't the alternator. A shop that will honestly take a $500 to $600 "loss" with something that could have been completely believable even for me is why that I trust only this and one other mechanic in the Chicago metro area so far. My cars will be back here for a very long time unless I move.

I've taken several vehicles to Pat and his team ('99 Mercedes SLK, '03 Honda Pilot, '14 Jeep Cherokee). They do quality work at fair prices.It's nice to work directly with the shop owner. I just had my first auto repair done at this shop, and it was a superb experience from start to finish. One of the Owners (Pat) did a test drive with me to do an initial assessment of the problem, and I am confident it was diagnosed properly and repaired correctly. Kurt (who is a really funny and personable guy,) even drove me to my house nearby yesterday when it was obvious the repair would need to be done this morning. The work was done for a competitive price, and I'll be doing business with these nice folks again. Based on this first experience I highly recommend them for your auto repair needs.

AWESOME!! These guys are great. Pat and Kurt and the rest of the staff here know what they are doing and they do it at a great price. Large or small vehicle, they can handle. Very polite. I cant recommend them enough as I have used them over the past 3-4 years.

This is a great establishment with exceptional trustworthy leadership. They took excellent care of my family. Ensuring that only what was needed was completed, and that the work was done at a good price. They honored their Valpak coupon as well, and they did it all with a smile, in appreciation for our business. This is how mechanics are supposed to treat you. I am grateful for their leader Pat and their seasoned team of mechanics.

I called for a quote and their prices were very fair. So I decided to take a chance on a shop that was 30 minutes out from where I live. I came in at almost 4 o'clock for my two rear brakes and rotors to be changed and they closed at 5. Needless to say I was cutting it close to their closing time but Pat assured me on the phone the could fix my car before they closed. As soon I was walked in and talked to Pat and Kurt , I knew I made the right decision! Friendly, professional,fast and honest are the words to describe these guys. Really took the time to explain everything that was going on with my car and what I needed and didn't need to repair. Best shop I've been to in years. I can't talk enough about how welcoming they were to me. I will definitely be coming to them for all my future repairs!

An auto repair shop has to be a trustworthy business from the standpoint of the customer knowing that the owners have your best interest as a selling point. Performance Auto Center in Plainfield is such a business. Keeping my two old cars in good shape, being honest about what needs to be done or not done, and charging a fair price what more can I ask for. But, there is more, these people are nice and fun to talk to. I highly recommend Pat and Kurt as such individuals. This is a winning business and you will be a winner too by heading out to Performance Auto Center.

Jim and his crew are the Best. They do the job right the first time at a great price. I have saved a ton of money over the years taking my vehicles to Jim instead of the dealerships (have been taking cars to Jim for over 10 years). The dealers are always trying to oversell service and Jim is honestly completing what is truly needed at a very fair price. From time to time I have check with the dealer to see what he had to say about a car problem only to find out I was again being overcharged and oversold on services. I rate Our Team Auto a 10 out of 10.

Honest car care, quality repairs, they always confirm repairs, and give you the choice of doing the basic necessity repairs to keep your car going, or the full service repairs to get everything done to keep your car in top shape.Best to call ahead at least 2 days to set appointment for your car. They seem to be running behind in repairs often. However, I also take that as a good sign that they are respected, trusted, and do good work, so they are very, very busy.

I have gone to them for nearly twenty years. I have never been given a better recommendation for anything than Performance Auto Center: knowledgeable, fair, honest and just great guys.
