Sergei is the real deal. I don't know how he does it, but he's a one-man show. His pricing is extremely fair and his work is amazing. I purchased a used BMW, missing exhaust from previous owner who gave up mid-project. Sergei was able to leverage another exhaust I received from a parts car and make it work and fit flawlessly. There is a lot of repair shops in the area, but Maliy's Auto is the one shop that is my go-to.Service: Exhaust

My 2021 Toyota sienna was parked on the side of the road and was hit. After sending it here, the boss helped me contact the insurance company. The boss is honest and reliable. And the car doesn't need to be parked there for a long time, wait for the parts to arrive and then go back to replace them. After replacing the damaged parts, it is perfect and there is no defect. thank you very much!

Best mechanic shop around! Sergei is the most knowledgeable and honest mechanic I know. If you need an honest and knowledgeable advice on cars-he's the guy to ask. He does an excellent & high quality job! Recently, I took my Subaru to him, not only did he spend time testing it for free, he even rotated my wheels and changed my fuses for free! Highly recommend this shop!

I found myself needing an emergency brake job and my family mechanic was fully booked until next week. I had no other options and was referred to Maliy's Auto from my wife's co-worker. Having not used another mechanic for over 20+ years, I had high expectations and I am happy to say, they were fully met. The owner was very personable and polite. The owner is a great person! I had a small dent on the door edge of a 2019 es350 and he advise me it's going to cost some money to repaint the door if want to be perfect, but he fixed like 90% with some simple tool and did not charge me anything. Will definite take my car to him if any work is need in the future!

Hands down best mechanic in Chicagoland. I have had my multiple cars (bmw and chevy) serviced there 6 or 7 times in the past 4-5 years and am always impressed with the speed, quality, and most importantly HONESTY of Sergeys work. He will tell you like it is with no BS, and will explain every option available to you with the pros and cons of each option. I am very familiar with cars and I sometimes feel guilty leaving his shop paying as little as what he charged me, because I know a dealership would have charged me 2 to 3 times the price for the same maintainence. He doesnt have the 20+ mechanics salaries to pay for, their retirement plans to pay for, or all the mechanics families health insurance plans to pay for like your average dealership does.. this man just simply does the work to fix your vehicle himself at the same level of quality for a much lesser price. I now live an hour from the shop and still tow my cars to him to be fixed because such a straightforward and honest mechanic is very hard to come by nowadays.

I went to Maliy's strickly based on the reviews I read online and I was NOT disappointed! Sergei was professional, nice and did great work on my car! I will definitely be going here now for any car repairs. He was also quick and very reasonably priced. I'm so glad the reviews were spot on!

Sergie runs a tight shop. First, he's honest. Second, he's thorough. Third, he has good pricing. He does great work and makes every effort to save you money on your repairs. I'll keep going back!

This place is a blessing. We brought in our Nissan Quest MiniVan with a "mystery" condition that no one could solve and Sergei solved it fast and justly priced. In fact, his quote was about $100 more then what he actually charged us. This was a pleasant and honest experience. We're relatively new to the area and for about 2 years I've been looking for a local Family Friendly shop that I can see on an ongoing basis and I've finally found a home. I am hard to please, yet this shop exceeded my expectations with the level of professionalism, quality workmanship, and the price was very fair. The owner is a good man.

Sergey was great! I had 1 day off of work to get my brakes fixed. Called Maliys Auto after seeing reviews on google. They were extremely busy but Sergey was able to fit me in and get my car done the same day! Great price, Great service. Definitely will be going back.

Sergey does a great job. He's friendly, honest and quick. He has now done various repairs on my vehicle and always does a good job, for a fair price. Wont take my car anywhere else.

Sergey was awesome, straightforward, no BS. Temperatures are below freezing, my vehicle battery was on its last leg, and I didn t want to risk being stranded. My vehicles battery is located under the passenger seat (more complicated than traditional hood change), I didn t feel comfortable changing myself. Called Maliys Auto, Sergey quoted me on the spot, said bring it in right away, completed the work in ~30 mins. Highly recommend and will be using him again. ThanksService: Battery

This mans amazing!! I found this place from Google, saw the reviews and positive feedback and wow completely accurate. I had a mystery problem with my jeep commander and he took me right away. Not only did he fix the problem but I also got my car back within a day! At an extremely awesome price. I'm hooked and I highly recommend this place.

Serge is the man, came to get my car repaired because my rear bumper/fender got side swiped and also got a few scratches fixed up. Got a free estimate, price was reasonable for repairs. Repairs were finished in time and the car looks brand new again. Happy with the service. Will be back here again.

Sergei saved my trip to Florida last spring break. On the way to family vacation to Florida, my alternator went out on I-55 . Called Maliys auto. They provided a tow truck service and my car was ready again. Great service, price was awesome, and part was available by the time tow truck came to the shop with my car! Great place. Highly recommend. Honest and quality at its finest

Great service. A fair and helpful mechanic where you know you re always getting an honest opinion and not an up-sell. Work has been of excellent quality each time and done in an extremely timely fashion. Only mechanic I ll take my car to.

Great experience here. I called on Saturday (when the business is closed) to leave a voicemail and the owner picked up the phone after hours to answer some questions.Monday morning I dropped the car off for brakes and a tire alignment. All in all, a fair price for the services performed vs the Volkswagen dealers. Thanks!

My family has used this auto shop for my auto services for over 10 years. The owner does all work himself with reliable quality and fair in price. My 1998 Acura CL with 210,000 mileages on it and 2013 Honda Odyssey with 195,000 still run under the maintenance done in this shop! I would recommend this shop to my relatives and friends.

Sergey at Maliy s Auto Shop is the best there is. We stopped first at the ford dealer with our older model truck and they could not fix it for us. Sergey put in extra time and effort to help us out and figure out the problem and repair it. He is honest and knowledgeable. I will continue to use his services with all our vehicles and recommend him to friends and family.

An honest mechanic! He's a straight shooter! I came to have him potentially replace by brakes but he recommended waiting and said I have another 6 months. He checked and test drove my 2014 E350 Mercedes for NO charge. Thank you!

I have never had a better experience with a mechanic shop. He is the ONLY one I truly trust to work on my car and after learning an expensive lesson recently I was reminded of why I drive as far as I do to have the work done here. He is extremely reliable, and doesnt try to pull more money from you than necessary. He works within your budget and lets you know what needs to be done and what could potentially wait. He comes Highly recommended and deserves more than 5 stars. Not only is his work reliable, it gets done in a timely manner. Great customer service and timing on work done for being the only one working for his business. I will continue to reffer people to his shop for Any type of work needed on their cars because theres truly nothing he won't be able to fix. Keep up the good work :-)

First time I was here was for a simple task of putting on new headlights it was done in a timely manner and didn't cost much.. When i needed serious work done Sergery found the best solution and worked with in my budget. He is honest and he let me know exactly where and why i needed certain work done on my car. In the future this will always be my one stop solution.

Sergi is a very honest person to work with. Have been going to him for a long time when it s something that s complicated or I cannot do myself. Works great with imports. Does the same work as the dealer at a very reasonable and fair price. In some cases will do the work that dealers won t because they want to charge more and Sergi will do what it takes to fix the issue and save you money. Thanks so much for fixing the oil pan issue on my BMW.

Sergi is amazing! My father once owned a transmission shop and I have been looking for an honest mechanic for over 20 years. I found him. He is honest, does the work in a timely manner and doesn't try to "up sell" you on more work. His work is quality and he stands behind any work he does. I will continue to bring any automotive work needed to him.

Wonderful work done by Sergi. Extremely impressed by the work done. Very honest with pricing as well as work that needs to be done. Was done at the exact time he said he was going to be done. Did a timing belt and serpentine belt as well as a water pump replacement. His quotes were the cheapest i could find around the area. Very reasonable with quality work.
