Sales AND Service are both awesome. Leased our car through Garrett. He was extremely thorough, fun, patient and professional. Just got our oil change and tire rotation, too. The service guys explained everything thoroughly, and the service was provided professionally, courteously and promptly. Why go anywhere else? Schimmer all the way!

John King has been helping my family for 30 years. This is the first vehicle purchased after my husband passed. John really stepped up and made sure I understood everything as he explained it. Schimmer Ford Peru is exceptional!

I had my car in for an oil change and routine check up. Staff was friendly. Wait time was good. Appointment was set when I needed it. I did ask for my spare tire to be checked for air, it did not get done. I also thought they could ve topped off my windshield washer fluid a little more generously, it was hard to tell if that got done as well.I mentioned these things to the service manager and he was apologetic and offered me to bring my car back any time.I hope to give 5 stars next time and no complaints. Friendly sales people.

Best experience at a dealership EVER!!!!! I called early because my engine light came on. I drive 40 minutes to work in Peru so I didn t want to break down on the way home. They got me in immediately and drove me back to work. Repaired my car that day and they picked me up from work to bring me back to my car!! Bitay, the driver, drove carefully and was very polite! I cant say enough about my experience. From the nice woman answering the phone to the service department and the driver Bitay, my car was fixed and I will say this is my new favorite dealership!! Thank you to everyone there!!!

We drove up from St. Louis after finding the vehicle we were looking for at Schimmer. Yes, we got a pretty good deal but, there was NO room for negotiation. The truck was dirty and very low on gas. I asked, Todd, about cleaning and filling the truck up with gas and he said, We don't do that with used cars . I was stunned. I said, Wow! I just spent almost $40,000 and you can't fill the tank? He said, Sorry, it's just not our policy .Unbelievable. I will never recommend this dealership, and neither will my family members in the area.

Garrett Peterson was the best car salesmen! He helped me answer all my questions I had with the car I was looking at & followed up with me to make sure I was still interested.He made sure my car was off the market for other buyers while I was awaiting approval for my loan & negotiated prices with me that best fit my budget.This was my first time ever purchasing a car & Garrett walked me through it & explained every process to me in a way I could understand. After the purchase of the car, he followed up to make sure everything was running great & I can still go to him for any questions in the future!Schimmer is the place to go. There are not many car dealerships that will be as patient & understanding! I give them my five stars (if i could, 10)!!

Mario in the service department was amazing! I had major engine issues and Mario made sure I was approved for a new engine and got it replaced quickly. In the mean time Mario made sure I had a loaner to drive. The entire process was easy, and his customer service was exemplary! Thank you for taking such great care of every step!

Was totally satisfied with the process and the service staff. Our car was determined to need a new engine and the dealership got the warranty coverage approved quickly and got the repair performed on schedule in a very reasonable timeframe. Completely happy and satisfied.

Sensor went out on my 2024 Hyundai Tuscon with less than 5,000 miles. They scheduled an appointment and it was fixed within 45 minutes, no charge of course. The entire staff was very friendly which is very much appreciated!

Great service here. I had a complicated warranty issue with Hyundai and had actually had trouble getting the service completed at another dealership. Schimmer got me taken care of. Everyone there was helpful and knew what they were doing. Highly recommend.

Very impressed. My car was towed there on Monday night. Tuesday they gave me a call that they had checked out my car and ordered the part but it could be a week and a half until the part came in. I got a call mid afternoon Thursday that same week (~3 days later) that it was already ready to go. Picked it up with no problems!

Have always been satisfied with Schimmer's, but recently they changed their service hours, and are no longer doing oil changes on Saturdays. What is the general working public supposed to do? I cannot take time off work too bring my car for an oil change. Again, I have always been satisfied with everything at Schimmer's, but I am very unsatisfied with the fact that I have to make special arrangements just to get an oil change because I work full-time.

Unfortunately, I have not had the best of experience with my new Hyundai. The dealership did not find the problem until we got to AZ and had to see a different dealership there to tell us we could not drive our new car home back to IL. We had to leave the car in AZ and had to rent a car. Leaving your new car in another state was stressful, not knowing when we would get it back. The Hyundai corporation has been difficult to work with. We will not purchase another Hyundai.

We had such a positive experience. Our sales person Olga went above and beyond. Our first time we stopped in she came right out to see what we needed and how to help us. It was the hottest day of the year, and she answer all of our questions, and then spent about an hour with us going over different options, vehicles, helping us to decide which direction we wanted to go. when we decided to come back and test drive a vehicle, she had it already for us. When we decided to buy a vehicle, she found the one that we wanted and had it delivered to the dealership. Everything and everybody was wonderful. We will definitely return to shimmer .

I had the pleasure of purchasing my second car from John King. 9 years ago I bought my first car (2013 Hyundai Elantra GT) from him. I traded that car in to purchase a new car (2024 Tucson Hybrid SEL Convenience AWD) that met our family s needs. He was outstanding then and was phenomenal again. He kept his eyes out for a car that matched our needs and wishlist perfectly. He even made a road trip to go pick it up from a different dealership to bring it to Schimmer Hyundai. He is someone I trust to make this major life purchase with. 10/10 recommend doing business with John. We live in Missouri now and even chose to travel to the Illinois Valley purchase a car through John.

Had my Hyundai Santa Cruz serviced today and was very impressed by convenience of the whole process. Service department was very cordial and thorough. My vehicle was ready in the time frame to which they said. Would definitely recommend Schimmer Hyundai for your vehicle needs.
