Pulled a flat tire in Peru and stayed the night. In the morning two guys swung by to pick me and the tire up, took us right to the shop and got things sorted. They then took me back to my car and had me back on the road in about an hour. Outstanding service, they did a fantastic job and were cordial and speedy with it. Brennan and Becky were I believe the two that helped me out and they did amazing!

I have had to bring my 2017 Equinox in three times in the last 4-5 weeks. Initially brought it in to have the brakes done. Dylan found that there more issues (bad tires, and a transmission leak). They fixed the brakes that day and then brought it in the following week for the transmission leak to be fixed. During that visit, they noticed it was leaking on the driver and passenger sides. Two weeks later I noticed a pretty bad oil leak. Brought it in and they found the faulty seal causing the leak.Every time I ve brought it in, they ve had it diagnosed and fixed the same day, usually within a few hours. Dylan has been awesome the whole time. Showing me what the issues were and helping out as much as he possibly could. Awesome crew. Yes their labor per hour is higher than other shops but they know what they re doing and are fast. I will continue to send people their way and to have my vehicles serviced there. 5+ stars!

Con artists. Put my car up on the rack and said I couldn't drive it. it would cost 1800$ to fix my breaks. I put it on a trailer and hauled it to a reputable mechanic. All new breaks 700$ . The guys at Midas also stole money and property from my car. Real scumbags! Go anywhere else!

I went today to have my brakes inspected for a squeal. I was asked how long ago I had new breaks, rotors and pads put on my car. I said I had them done at the dealership a few months ago. They still squeal and I was told it was because they took asbestos out of the brakes and that is why it makes a noise. The Midas told me no, it is because they did not put lubrication on the brakes. They were honest with me and could have sold me another set, but told me what was the problem and did not charge me. I also learned they do more than brakes. I will be a future customer for all my car repairs and maintenance.

The general manager Dylan and the shop mechanics at Midas were great and did exceptional work to get my heat back working in my car!! I even got a discounted price! No more cold drives to work in the morning!

Dylan and Becky (as well as the technician who worked on the car) went amazingly above and beyond our expectations for servicing our daughter's car. The car broke down on the side of I-39 South outside of Peru, IL on her way back to school after Thanksgiving. Dylan stayed late on that Saturday evening with an initial evaluation that the transmission had quit (a correct diagnosis). Becky spent much time in the next couple of business days looking for and locating a replacement (reasonably priced and in great condition). Very long story short, there were other issues related to the transmission as well as warped front rotors (the shaking my daughter had just described with braking). Dylan, Becky and their Tech stayed past closing again on a Saturday evening to finish the car. The moral of the story? You'll be hard pressed to find such dedicated professionals in any business as Dylan, Becky and the staff of Midas in Peru. I would highly recommend them for all your auto servicing needs.

All around amazing work. They treat you like family. I had to get a new engine. Dylan was amazing at keeping us informed about everything. Dylan and Becky worked with us and did everything they could to help us with payment issues. Checked and made sure to get us a good engine put in. So thankful for Dylan and his team. Thank you again for everything you have done!!!

CON ARTISTS! Brought my car to them because my car was making a sqealing noise. They said since there was not much coolant in my car that they would do a pressure test on the cooling system, which this would determine if my water pump would need to be replaced. Well, they said there was no coolant leak and that my water pump was good. Then they move on to inspecting the rest of the vehicle and said the tensioner needs to be replaced and that's what was causing the noises. Got that replaced, spent $400.00 for nothing. As soon as I drove away, I heard the sqealing again. Turned around and went back to Midas after only a few minutes for them to tell me it's the water pump. I took my vehicle somewhere else and they confirmed that there was indeed a leak in the coolant system and water pump will need replacement. I do not recommend for anyone to go here. Save your money, you do not want to get scammed. Go somewhere that you trust, because this definitely is not the place!!!!!! this company clearly should not be in business they do not know what they are doing....

I had an amazing time. Donlen Auto Group paid for my maintenance and the technicians took my big truck in the back and made sure it was topped off with lubrication and satisfaction you can only get at Midas!

Dylan and Becky are the best!! they were able to get me in right away and get my vehicle serviced the same day, however I wasn't to happy about the mechanic work at all. They put the wrong oil in my van which really made it drive horribly after i asked them to use the oil that my van took. the original reason i came to them was for my parking brake which never got fixed, granted it wasnt their fault but their parts guy kept bringing wrong parts and it turned out to be a fiasco.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair, Brakes, Oil change

This place was awesome and the people here are so compassionate and considerate they actually try to help out as much as possible and they have great patience! Dillion , Ryan , and jerry all helped me get my coolant system back up and running and even took initiative to help get me another part I needed ! 2 weeks ago (august 23) my car overheated on me. Made an appointment only the night before. Got a call back before they even officially opened. The entire staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Troubleshooting all the possible issues. Kept me updated ! Got an Uber to and from the shop ( I live in Peru) actually lol Two of their mechanics gave me a ride home. Top tier service! Front desk clerk Becky and everyone was not only professional but personable

Horrible! Was quoted wrong on the phone tried justifying it with saying I needed an extra quart of oil for $8 but didn't make up the extra 20 they were charging. Did not rotate tires like they said they did. Every employee that came to the waiting room had attitude. And not very good customer service. Used to love coming here and the employees were great. Now it's completely down hill. Will never return. $115 for an oilchange. And they didn't even check or do what they were suppose to

On my way from Maine to Alaska my truck computer died. Midas was the only shop open on a Saturday and they fit me in right away to diagnose and order parts to get my truck back and running. The job included having to communicate with an outside dealer for the correct parts and programming. Dylan, Nash, and their crew provided the best service I could ask for under the circumstances, worked tirelessly to do the repairs as fast as possible, and even stayed open long past closing hours to wrap up the repairs. That kind of service is unheard of these days! I highly recommend anyone needing repairs or automotive service make Midas in Peru one of your first options! Thank you all and keep up the great work!!

Everyone was friendly, but I feel wildly taken advantage of. I got 4 new tires which are an off brand that retails for $60 a piece and a synthetic oil change, which I just got a coupon for from Midas for $30. I ended up having to pay $1,300! Absolutely my fault for trusting what I was quoted. Do your research before signing.
