Just when I thought my trip to JP Motors was a waste of time. Well it wasn't my salesperson was very patient with me. Todd L thank you so much for your help. When I say, I love my car, I do. The trip was worth it as well as the wait. I would definitely recommend others to come see you. Thank you for being patient with me, and your help as well.

EDIT: As of April 5th, JP Motors has fixed the issues. Jacob was extremely helpful and made things right. Scott the general manager also apologized for the issues that occurred. It s alarming that such a mistake has happened and it makes me question if a mechanic can make this type of mistake on such a simple job, what big mistake has this person done doing bigger jobs such as brakes or engine work. I hope the person who made this mistake is reprimanded and I m hoping my future visits with JP goes better.I ve taking my equinox to JP Motors a handful of times now since moving to the area. I got my oil changed yesterday, April 3rd and after I got in my car, I kept smelling something whenever I turned on the heat. I gave it a day to maybe go away and it didn t. My husband checked tonight and saw that the mechanic did not put the oil cap back on and my dipstick was halfway sticking out. I have oil sprayed all over the hood and all over my engine bay. Absolutely ridiculous and we will be calling tomorrow for a refund as well as someone to clean up underneath my hood and put more oil in my engine. I would NOT recommend this dealership. The last time I was at the shop which was last month, I wanted to have them inspect my rotors and pads and they told me what I suspected which was a warped rotor and then I was told and given a piece of paper that said the mechanic lubricated all brake components and put everything back together since I decided to get new rotors myself. My husband took apart everything a few days later to put new pads and rotors on and there is NO WAY they lubricated everything because the slide pins and the caliper brackets were stiff and when removed, NOT lubricated. The pad brackets were not lubricated either. Thankfully, I wasn t charged for that inspection. I will never have service done here again.

Went here this past Monday for my 10 thousand mile service as it's much closer than where I purchased my Altima. Service department was quick and professional, actually taking my car in early for the service. Definitely will be back

Alex assisted me in trading my car in for a Nissan Sentra. This was a great experience all round. Staff from JP communicated promptly and set up a test drive at my convenience. DATE: Dec 23, 2021. My husband and I live in Maryland. We recently experienced two cars to die in one week and desperately needed to purchase a new one. We planned on buying our "dream car", a Chevy Camaro, next year but because of our unexpected situation, decided to purchase it right away. We searched nationwide for the "perfect" Camaro -- we wanted a 3LT convertible with adrenaline red seats -- and we found it a JP Motors! Unbeknownst to us, Zac (a sales professional at JP), custom designed and ordered this vehicle -- he obviously had us in mind! My husband and I reached out to JP, coordinated all the specifics with Ashley and the head manager, Shawn, and were so compelled by their responsiveness and professionalism, we purchased the car virtually (sight unseen)!!! Within hours of confirming our purchase, we flew 801 miles to Peru, Illinois. BEST DECISION EVER! Shawn provide a driver (Bob... who was totally awesome!) to pick us up from Chicago O'Hare (closest airport, which was 98 miles away) and when we arrived our "baby" was cleaned, prepped and waiting for us. The entire staff warmly greeted us and really made us feel like family. It gets better... it only took 10 minutes to sign the documents (only 4 short pages), followed by a 30 minute tutorial on the vehicle -- shout out to Jeff and Zac who fully explained the operations of the vehicle. Finally, we received an amazing price on our Camaro! We can't thank Shawn, Zac, Jeff, super Bob and Ashley enough for giving us absolutely the BEST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER! For future car needs, we would not hesitate to make the 801 mile trip to JP Motors!

I recently purchased a Chevy Silverado 1500 from this dealership. I do not live close to the dealership and Todd, the general manager was great to be able to give me numbers over the phone and an estimate of a trade-in value for my vehicle. Todd stood behind the numbers that he gave me over the phone and I really appreciate that as a customer doing business with a dealership that is not close to where I live. Everything was smooth and set out great for me to come in and purchase the vehicle.I also really appreciate the sales representative, Carole. She really took the time to give me details about the Chevy Silverado, that I was purchasing and help me set up on star. My vehicle was washed and detailed very well at the time of purchase. As a customer, I really appreciate the detail, and customer satisfaction that this small town dealership took. I would highly recommend as a dealership in the future to anybody who is looking to purchase a new or used vehicle, even if you do not live close by. These friendly faces were nothing but great throughout the whole process!!!Thank you again

What a great experience at JP Motors in Peru, IL. Found the exact car I wanted. I returned the next day with my husband to find out it was JUST SOLD! No worries they were able to locate the exact vehicle and I had my new car the next day! Angie is the best! She is amazing and makes the process really smooth. She goes above and beyond for her customers and tries to help as much as possible. The whole sales department was so friendly and willing to help. Great service and they know they re stuff.

10/10 I highly recommend. I ve been in the trades my whole life and never really spent more than 4 or 5 grand on a work vehicle. I have gotten to the point to where I can t work on vehicles like I used to be able to. About a week ago my truck died on me and it was a huge job to take on in order to fix it. I chose JP for my first vehicle through a dealership and I m glad I did. I worked with Carole, who couldn t have been more helpful through the whole process. From the test drive to the final hug and handshake as I walked out with my new truck keys, she provided world class service. She and the other associates who helped secure my loan are a great team of people to work with. I can t wait to buy from JP again when the time comes. Thanks JP Chevrolet

I just purchased my third car from JP as a Valentine s Day gift to myself haha! It might have been my third purchase from this dealership, but it had some firsts! It was my first time (but not last!) working with Chad, and my first brand new car ever! Chad was fantastic to work with! He s extremely knowledgeable, which is great for me who knows next to nothing auto related. He is the furthest from a pushy salesman you could ask for- it didn t feel like a business transaction, it felt like a friend was helping me out and I appreciated that so much! Chad, along with the finance team, did a fantastic job getting me exactly what I hoped for and then some. From start to finish, the whole experience was smooth, no pressure, and dare I say fun! I love my 2024 Chevy Trax from JP and I recommend the dealership to anyone! Thanks for another great experience!

Traded in my old Jeep for a new Nissan Frontier this past weekend and JP Chevy was incredible! The customer service was fantastic, they really make you feel like you are family from the moment you walk in to driving off the lot in your new vehicle and they worked out a stellar deal for me. I purchased a very nice 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 with an unusually low amount of miles on it. I really liked the website/app which helped me find the vehicle in the first place, and car salesman Zach Ansteth was very polite and did a nice job overall selling me the vehicle. In summary, I had a great experience with the team and I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

I was Quoted $550 for rear pads and rotors. I was quoted $160 for rear differential cover replacement. To me, that is $710. They inform me, it will not be done by end of day, and that i can pick up my vehicle in the morning. I get there and with a straight face Jason tells me, i can go see the cashier, it was almost $1200. How in the hell, do you get $1200 from $710. It was my first time using them. It will be the Last time i ever use this business for anything. Oh, and when i got in the abs light was on. After bringing it up he says oh, that wasn't on before? Then tells me it came on when Mark was test driving it. Then changed it to, it probably happened when they were shaking the front end to test its components. Worst servuce experuence of my life. I was Quoted $550 over the phone, the moment i walked in the door, it shot to $570-580, without even seeing my vehicle, and in the end it was almost double. Steer clear if you want honest people or affordable repairs. Not cheap, AFFORDABLE.*Update* Scott the GM contacted me about my experience. Although my initial experience left me in regret of my decision to choose JP Motors. Scott went above and beyond to make things right. His professionalism and eagerness to correct my negative experience stands out in a world where customer service seems to be negligent. Thank You Scott.

I really respect that the Service Team at JP does not suggest un-needed or not yet required maintenance repairs. Glad to see that recently they have been able to somewhat augment the Service Advisor Team. They are the public facing representatives of any dealership and need to have the bandwidth to fully respond to customer's calls and concerns ...
