Had to drive little bit out of Chicago land for oil change. Made appointment for 3:30 was out at 6:05. Clean facility with shower and laundry. Plenty of space if you coming with trailer. Definitely coming back.

I don t have the words to express the gratitude and appreciation from your parts, service and tech. I had a simple task and your shop was busy. I needed to change out a top radiator hose, they allowed and provided buckets and environment soak pads to complete the repair, not a lot of companies would go out of there way, I realize it s hard to be nice and allow services like this to only have a unappreciated person turn around and bite the hand that fed you, so again thank you you made a repair painless,

I come in off the road with a dying alternator on my truck these guys had the parts on hand at a reasonable price, helped me test the old one to confirm it was bad, changed my pulley off the old alternator and put it on my new alternator and I was back up and running in 45 minutes!!!! Thanks CIT TRUCKS!!!

Never go to this body shop in Peru. They do not follow thru to what needs to be done.Here is a example to not doing your job. I had the insurance adjuster call me for pictures the eek I am suppose to pick the truck up needless to say the guy took these pictures back in December but never sent then.If you need your repairs done make sure you tell them you need it done sooner then you do. It might be done by then.There is no comunication with them either. They never return your call. Thank you to Jim Garner and Dustin without your help I would of been out of luck getting this repairs done and the truck brought back to Rockford.The Rockford location gets a

Tim and Jake were really accommodating. They squeezed my truck in for emergency repair even though they were full up with repairs. Great Service!! I was down the street at the Volvo shop for the service.

Our truck broke down and we found this CIT Trucks authorized dealer near to us went in there greeted well n told to diagnose ASAP, well worth finding this workshop they fixed our truck. Staff is friendly specifically Jack, lots of facilities for drivers, waiting lounge, shower, washer n dryer, pickup n drop off from hotels. Totally 109% recommended.

Honestly, I was here for 5 days but they had to wait on a part for my truck. I called every day to check on my truck and Tanya was so nice each and every time I called. They are the best Kenworth location I ve ever been too. They were busy but stayed on top of everything I mean literally was the best communication and customer service I ve ever experienced. I had been over to the Kenworth location near Monmouth IL and they didn t fix the issue, they said it wasn t an issue. I m happy y all got me back in my truck and back on the road, I greatly appreciate it. Thank you so much Peru team....

owners don't trust this dealer I was very disappointed with them the second time I have problems with them after I paid the first bill of $ 349.78 on 4/20/20, and on 4/24/20 I paid $ 3,496.44 now I have problems with the starter which they told me they repaired and meowed changed sealing ring on the right wheel the final result is 2 cents, the people who work there are not qualified and do not have experience in work given they can name to drain the world of $ and nothing more I do not recommend this location

People I ve met are very nice. I have no idea if they can fix anything or not because getting out of here has been a humongous pain!! Accounting won t let them take a credit card for payments over $2500, so I m paying $20 to do a bank to bank wire transfer that s going to keep me here at least another day! Oh, the truck has already been here over 2 weeks! Woulda been more cost effective to get towed 100 miles to Davenport or Chicago!UPDATE:I an very pleased with the work done and the service manager reached out and was very pro-customer! He runs his shop that way & it is very noticeable. So I m very satisfied with everything -except the payment policy and slow procurement of parts.

Might as well make it self checkout. Atleast then I could get what I need. I have gave them chances several times and left empty handed every time. Not because they don't have the part but simply arnt willing to put in the effort to get it for you.

Trevor is the man. These guys really poured on the customer service. They made sure I had a ride to the closest motel. 3/4 of a mile away. They made sure that I had access to the mechanic. This made sure that every deficiency was shown and demonstrated to the mechanic, resulting in accurate repairs. They offered aftermarket parts, to keep price down and the final repair came in a bit cheaper than the original estimate. They washed the truck to remove oil and antifreeze residue and disinfected against covid 19. What more needs to be said? Any owner operators near Peru, Il who needs repairs...this is your place.

Zach was an awesome service writer. He kept me informed on any and all issues. When there was an issue Zach went out and helped the tech remove the part so I could get back out on road that night. Because of Zach I will stop by again. Thank you Zach for all your help!!

VERY PLEASED with the work they ( mechanic/s ) did on my w900. The head needed to be taken off how ever when the job was done all the wires and hoses were ZIPPTITE MOTOR DEGREASED. I could go on and on !! VERRY PROFESSIONAL!!! Dealing with Brendon and Justin was very pleasant. Also like the parts guys. Miguel , Ken , Jay . I would recommend this shop to anybody. Which I already did. KEEP UP THE GOOD PROFESSIONAL WORK !!!!!

Will never go to this Volvo repair shop again. We called at 7am Central time Zone and made them aware that I was coming in. Would be there in 3 hrs. The head mechanic said they could put My truck on the computer but if there was anything wrong they couldn't get to it till the next night. We said to at least find out what was wrong. Got there at 10:30 CT. Checked in and was told it would be awhile. Fine no problem. Went in at 3 and was told it would just be a little while longer. Again no problem. At 4:30 checked and was told it would be after their supper at 5:30. Finally at 6:30 they took my truck in, found the problem and they did fix it as it was an easy fix. Spent 10 hrs there. Watched numerous trucks come and go. You can't tell me each of them had an appt. Found out the head mechanic had said I could wait until later. I lost a whole day aND as far as I am concerened was lied to by the head mechanic. The night shift mechanics were nice. Day shift sucks

I didn't visit this place in person however I had called them in search for a coolant cap and the price and the gentleman was very nice and helped with all the information I needed.

Excellent service, very polite and friendly. Quick and painless...... got me in and out in a very reasonable amount of time. Checked in at night and they had it fixed first thing in the morning.

Lied about the availability of parts and kept pushing to replace the entire pump instead gasket. Researched the part and found we could purchase the gasket for 10 dollars instead of the $700 dollar pump. New gasket worked and the situation resolved a lot cheaper.

Some of the people that work there are actually really helpful and care about their job but I wouldn t reccomend anyone to go and try to buy a truck there. After promises on paper, exchanging documents online and countless email, when I finally went to pick up the truck first of all they announced how they didn t know I was coming and they didn t wash the truck, when I told not one but two employees days before when I was going to come. Then when we checked the truck, I am not going to lie they really fixed most stuff and it all looked good until we saw that the shifts are not fixed properly. They were loose and everyone said how they can t fix them any better. Okay I honestly understand if they don t want to fix it and waste money and that s not even why I am giving this place only one star. After I talked with someone whose name and position I didn t even know because he never introduced himself, I said that I couldn t take the truck in that condition since it would cost me more money to repair it and they didn t want to drop the price. So all good, it is all business and I understand that until the person who never introduced himself like I already said announced that he is the general manager and I can t get any higher than that and when I asked if they can show me other trucks in this or other location they have available he told me how he is better off giving me the deposit back and me leaving since he doesn t want to have to repear a truck again. Well excuse me, isn t that the job of your company? Last time I checked that s a company for selling trucks and mecanical parts and if I am a customer they should at least try to help. That have never happened to me before on any other place and in my opinion that s terrible business. They should at least try to respect customers. Like I said some staff are great and one of the financial advisors even came to ask me if there is anything I need after I left, but someone whose business is selling trucks to tell me how he is better off giving me my money back and not showing me any trucks is just so disrespectful.

I had an issue with def system, and the truck put me in Derate reset 180 minutes, I driving until I got to the truck stop next to them, I had AHI module fault code, I bought and installed it, the engine light want off but i still need to do force Regen and Derate reset , I go for them and ask can you please do force Regen and Derate reset by your computer I fix the truck and everything is fine but I need to do reset , he take inside and after one hour come out and said there is no connection for the ECM you have big problem , and first appointment to fix it next week , I said thanks I will tow it a way , I call my mechanic in Chicago he sent me a guy form has shop , he was able to do reset and force Regen , the truck two months on the road since this time no issue , they charge me 150$ for nothing , thanks for nothing
