Went to have 2 keys made for a truck we bought our grandson. It only had one key and it was terrible. I priced his key everywhere the cheapest I could find it was $145 for 1 key. That was a key, cut and programmed.I got 2 keys from here plus cut and programmed for $90 plus tax. That would have be $290 at the other place. Saved me $200..Only took 10 minutes to program each key.It was a win win for us. They will be our go to place!!

Not knowing when I got my used car, neither key fob had cut emergency keys in them til a couple weeks ago. This place not only could cut me new keys from scratch without the original, they did it without me having to pay an arm and a leg. I worked with Chris, who was very nice and professional. He got the job done right the first time and quickly. I would highly recommend this place and will personally recommend them to friends and family.

I needed a key made and programmed for my pickup truck. They cut the key and programmed it with no issues. It was much, much cheaper than having it done at the dealership. Key works great. Nice guys. Thanks!

Contacted them to repair locking system on safe door. Took door, unloaded it, took it in. No business initiated contact made from business after they agreed to fix it, had safe door for 2+ months. Called 5+ times throughout this time was told he wasn't in the building and he would call us back. Never did call us back, each time. Talked with another company. Went up to pick up the door. Still sitting in same location with same note attached. Owner wasn't even present with pick up.

Called because i locked my keys in my car. A real person answered and quickly got me set up with someone and they met me in 20 minutes! $65 for it and the guy was very nice! another placed quoted me $80 and $130. safe to say f that. go with these guys!!

Needed a key fob programmed, called another company who took my money and cancelled on me 3 minutes later couldn t get my money back for another 3 days. Called this company and they came right out in 20 minutes. Would recommend.

Absolutely wonderful, my only child was murdered, and they showed me so much love and compassion trying to help me get locks changed, keys made etc...and now, I need to have them cut a lock and replace it with a new one. One of the employees even prayed for me. Impressive simply impressive!!!!

Tried their best to get me in to residence, didn't charge for their time spent since they couldn't get me into home. 3 star for the respectful business attitude. I recommend to try this group first in Peoria area as the others I called were very very rude.

They saved the day for one of our truck drivers in an especially sticky situation. Professional, kind, and willing to do whatever it took to get him back on the road. 10+/10 service. Do not call anyone else in the area, you are just cheating yourself.

Should have stuck with Jimmy's lock... 200 to make a key and drive to their shop for my key fob for 50 that was to be taken care of when key was made.

Very helpful and reasonably priced. Other shops in town insisted on using their own highly overpriced products. The Lock Shop cut the key on my replacement car key fob and told me how to program it! You definitely want to go here!

They were the only one to answer their phone on a Sunday. Thank God they did because I was stranded at Dunkin Donuts with my 5 yr old grandson for 2 hrs. He was able to get there in a half hour. He was very courteous even though he was so busy because no other locksmith answered their phones!

I spoke to Dan about having a key made. When I asked how soon I could get the key, he replied, "For the price I quoted you, it would be Monday." I said that would be fine. When I hadn't heard anything by 4:30 Monday afternoon, I called. Dan asked, "Did we set up a time?" I told him he had said I would have the key on Monday. He then asked if the first thing Tuesday morning would be OK. I agreed and was told someone would be out between 9:00 and 9:30 am. At approximately 11:30, I called again. Dan told me the guy who was coming got held up at another job and would be here shortly. So ... apparently my job WASN'T "first thing in the morning." The guy who came out was terrific, but I'd look elsewhere if you value your time. Oh, when I asked Dan for a discount for waiting for the key, he generously (that's sarcasm) took $10 off the bill. The guy who made the key gave me an additional $5 off, which I appreciated. As an employee I'm sure there's only so much he can do.Service: Car digital & remote key reprogramming

I made an appointment to have a key programmed for my truck. They were very kind and got me scheduled in right away with a reasonable price. Fortunately for me, I found my keys and called them back to cancel my appointment. They guy was very nice and understanding when I canceled the appointment. I still plan on taking my spare I had made in to them to have it programmed. I will update this when I do.

I called in at around 8:30 and got Caleb on the phone. He was extremely professional and polite and gave me a time frame of 20 minutes. At around 22 minutes after our call he was there and had my door open in just a few minutes. I'd recommend the lock shop to anyone who makes the same mistake I did of locking their keys in their work van. Totally worth the $85 I spent!

I am so impressed with the quality of service that The Lock shop offers!I ran into a problem with my car s ignition last week. I contacted the dealership and made an appointment but was unable to get my car to the shop because it wouldn t start. After some googling I stumbled upon The Lock Shop. My husband called and told them what our problem was and they suggested bringing in my keys to see if they were the cause of my problem. After arriving I was given the best customer service I have ever experienced. Not only did they work meticulously on my problem, but Dan also drove to my house twice to try the key in my car. After deciding that the culprit was not the key, but the ignition switch he gave me a quote to repair the switch and handed me the keys with no charge. Later when I brought the switch in they had it fixed within 24 hours and charged a fraction of what I would have paid at the dealership. They also gave great recommendations on how to save money on replacing my broken key fob.Thank you to Dan and the other fellas at The Lock Shop!

Great experience with The Lock Shop today. Technician was awesome and took the time to fix my sticking entry door and re-key my locks in all the places I needed it. I will never go anywhere else.

Awesome customer service! We got locked out of our house, so I called and Dan started heading our way. About 20 minutes later, I actually ended up getting into our house on my own and called Dan to tell him that we didn t need him. He was almost to our house and should have charged me for his time, but didn t. I really appreciated that! Thank you, Dan!

Dan is a great guy. I definitely recommend him. I called asking if he could re-key my house the same day. He squeezed me into his schedule only to find my locks were self reset. He told me what I needed to do to reset the locks and did not charge me for the house call. Great to work with such an honest guy.

Dropped my only set of keys in the creek late at night. I called The Lock Shop and even though it was very late (and pouring rain), Caleb made the trip to my truck and helped me out. I would recommend him 10/10. If it ever happens again he will be the first person I call.Caleb was very nice, got the job done very quickly. Excellent customer service. He knows what he is doing. He turned a very stressful situation for me into an awesome experience.

Wonderful compassionate experience. Caleb was very nice and professional. He introduced himself and apologized for the wait time. He had 1 person before me. He had the door open quickly. Once the door was opened, cartoon characters quickly dashed by him, glad to be inside. The smallest hugged him and said thank you. Caleb informed me of the location of the lock shop and let me know I can have keys made there. I will be going there tomorrow to get keys made for my family do that we don't go through this again. Thank you Lock Shop.
