We bought a car with the Peoria Toyota dealership over the weekend. We had an excellent sales consultant, Becky. She was very helpful, attentive to what we wanted, and had great suggestions. We never felt rushed or pressured. She waited and talked with us while we waited to meet with the finance manager which was great. The entire process went smoothly and everyone we spoke with was very friendly. If you re looking for a Toyota vehicle, I would recommend this place and will personally be returning again for future car needs.

I saw a vehicle online that caught my interest and I couldn't quite tell if the car had the option I wanted, so I reached out and asked. Within a few minutes of my email, I was met with a prompt response that included the information I asked and even a photo! No pressure to come in, salesperson was knowledgeable and honest about what they weren't.Wish this was the vehicle with the option, best customer service I've ever received from a dealership!

Rarely leave reviews, but need to leave this review for how awful the sales manager of this dealership was. Put down a $500 deposit for a 2024 RAV 4 prime in 2022, and was told the deposit was fully refundable by the salesperson. A year later, we wanted the refund back after changing our mind on the vehicle, and it took over three months to get the refund back. The sales manager avoided my calls after requesting the refund the first time, every time I was transferred to him, and absolutely NOTHING was done till we escalated the case all the way to corporate Toyota. Absolutely disgusted, that we had to jump through this many hurdles and months of calls to get a refundable deposit back.

Great place to buy a used vehicle. Went above and beyond to make sure all of my concerns were addressed to satisfaction. Was able to get the details from almost 200 miles away. Picked me up at train station. Then had long test drive back and finished up the deal with some fantastic professional people.

I ve been getting my car serviced at Peoria Toyota since it was purchased in 2019. I am really pleased with the level of attentiveness the service staff has shown me each visit. I want to specifically thank Larry this time for his professionalism and patience. Larry shows genuine concern and customer service skills that you just don t see that often anymore. Overall, I m happy with the Toyota brand and the Peoria Toyota Service Center.Steve

Couldn t be happier with my experience here! They somehow were able to get a Corolla GR in for me in only a few days. Doug was amazing to work with and the rest of the team was super friendly and just as excited as I was to get the car in. Between the sales staff, management, and finance team anyone shopping here will have a positive experience.

I was looking for a popular car and spoke with numerous dealers. Peoria Toyota stood out by far in their professionalism. Luke, my sales rep, was respectful, thorough and reliable. He made sure I got the right car for me and then he worked hard to get it. I would buy a car from Peoria Toyota again.

Joe was a pleasure to work with. Very knowledgeable and very nice.Very patient with our 17 yr old son who will drive the car. He showed him all the cool things about the car.We also enjoyed the finance officer ( I guess that s what his title is)A very polite and personable young man.If we buy any vehicles in the future, we will be back to Obrian

DO NOT BUY AN EXTENDED WARRANTY FROM THESE PEOPLE. We have bought 3 new cars from them and after waiting 3 months for a refund they have done nothing. They have lied repeatedly. They are great at taking your money but they won't refund when you cancel the warranty. They tell me to talk lol.I was promised by the finance manager that my check would be here last week. Still no check.Maybe Peoria Toyota needs to contact Leslie Brewer....he told me that it doesn't take this long and that my warranty is through JM&A.Peoria Toyota said it's through Toyota. What a mess.Really wanted the 2025 Camry but I won't be buying from them. I'll go to Lemans in Bloomington.

There were many factors that I appreciated about purchasing my new vehicle from Peoria Toyota. First, the on-line Smart Path was very convenient. I also was extremely pleased with the purchase price as well as the trade-in value. The employees were very professional and answered all my questions. I appreciate how quickly Todd responded to me and kept in touch to ensure that my needs were met. The transaction was done in an efficient manner, and I was thankful for the space in the cafe to eat the lunch I brought before I headed home.

This is officially the worst service department I've ever been to. They installed a heater blower motor in 2021 and it quit in 2023. After calling them about this, they said it's out of warranty and there's nothing they can do. I asked to speak to the service manager, told him the situation (IIRC, his name was Pete) and asked if they honor their work, since either it wasn't installed correctly, they used a bad part or didn't diagnose it correctly. He said, sure, we can take a look at it, does Monday at 8am work for you? So I made the appointment.I live an hour away and drove there by 8am, and used work vacation time to be there. I get there and the front line worker said it's not under warranty and there will be a diagnostic fee. I tell him the manager said they would honor their work and take a look at it. He gets the manager I spoke to and the manager said they can take a look at it but there will be a diagnostic fee. He also said it would be the regular price to replace it.He asked why I didn't bring it in before the warranty was up and I said I didn't need the heater in the summer time and didn't know it went bad. That question was random and made no sense other than it's clear this whole time he was trying to deflect their failure. I told him that he said they'd honor their work and take a look at it. He said, yes, we'll look at it but there's a diagnostic fee. I told him I wish he told me that before I took time off work and drove an hour to get there. He bulged his eyes, stared right at me and in front of everyone said in a harsh combative tone: "I'm sorry you misunderstood me" as if it was my fault he misled me to believe they'd honor their work.. or maybe I 'misunderstood' him and didn't realize he meant they honor their bad work by not doing anything about it.I bought a replacement part myself from O'Reilly auto parts and will be installing it myself. The O'Reilly parts rep told me it has a lifetime warranty (and I never told him this story or mentioned a warranty). So not only did Peoria Toyota use a bad part, it also had a bad warranty and they implied that because they bought a bad part with a bad warranty, I have to pay full price for them to install it again just 2.2 years later so they can screw it up again.

The salesman did a great job of showing me the truck I need. They were respectful of my time and what I said. No high pressure or uncomfortable salesman. I would buy from them. While I was there I made an appointment for my Corolla for an oil change. Very friendly staff there as well and I got in when I wanted to come.

I recently purchased my new vehicle from Todd Cook. He was so patient, understanding and kind through the whole process. He worked with me for months until my new vehicle came and made the deal seem easy which I never say about dealerships. Would recommend.

I spent two days talking to Todd Cook about cars via email and text. Todd quoted me a rate of 5.99 for 72 months. I drove an hour to pick up the car. Todd had me just sit and wait to sign. He didn t go over any features on the car. Any accessory options. When I went back to finance to sign the paperwork the rate and monthly payments were not what Todd had sent me. Luckily the finance guy was understanding and contacted the manager to make it right. I asked to turn down the Luxcare $1699 charger. They advised me i was not able to decline because it was already on the car. While leaving my wife overheard them stating they took money off the Luxcare to get my payment down because it hadn t even been done yet.The next day I reached out to Todd in regards to this issue and he acknowledged that the Luxcare had not been done. They charged me for it and made me believe it was already done tho. When trying to contact Todd he has avoided me. Sent me to voicemail and refused calls. I tried to reach out to the sales manager and have been unsuccessful. This is theft. Charging customers for features they can t turn down and that aren t even being done. Wonder how many other people are being charged $1699 for a feature that isn t even really on the car ?I have to contact the attorney general of IL now and provide pics of the convo with Todd so they can attempt to make it right since the dealership will not.Unfortunately the root of the issue is the salesman Todd Cook. The rest of the staff did what they could to clean up his errors. That said . I cannot get anybody to make this theft right. Not to mention the dealership is another town and now have to spend four hours of drive time taking the car back if they do decide to make it right and acknowledge this horrible situation.

I recently visited O'Brien Toyota of Peoria with the intention of purchasing a Toyota vehicle. While I found a car that I liked and informed the staff that I had pre-arranged financing with my bank, my experience took an unfortunate turn.Despite my explicit instructions not to conduct any additional credit checks as my loan was already approved the dealership went ahead and initiated a credit inquiry. This was done without my consent and contrary to the assurances given by their sales team. When I questioned this, the finance manager, Mr. Doug Topp, informed me that this was standard dealership policy, akin to a "background check."Not only was this unauthorized credit inquiry a breach of my trust, but it could also potentially impact my credit score. While the dealership acknowledged the mistake and offered a modest discount as compensation, this does not address the root of the issue: a lack of respect for customer consent and personal information.I am disappointed with this experience, as it does not reflect the high standards of customer service and integrity that I expect from a Toyota dealership. My hope is that by sharing this review, will reconsider their policies and practices to ensure that future customers do not have to go through a similar situation.

Servie techs are a joke and dont know their job. While buying my car was fine its the service department I have a problem with. I bought my car a few months ago no problem. well I start hearing what sounds like a loose bolt in the rear end behind a trim and a squeal when I turn left. Take my car in yesterday and am told no problems found can't duplicate blah blah.. my wife gets in the car immediately does a complete circle turning left in the parking lot and bam there is the noise. And I get in open the bac k and hit the quarter panel sure enough there is the rattle. I'm an actual automotive technician and they way they treated my wife i will not be back.. I guess I'll take my business elsewhere from here on.

you are not going to like buying a car this way. these people are a bunch of crooks. They will lie to your face to get you to sign your check. when you need something you are on your own.. there are good people in this business just not them.

This is just a great dealership. I shopped a variety of used and new cars through them, and their inventory was crazy (I found myself getting way off track looking at a E93 BMW M3, widebody Challenger, F250 Platinum diesel, among others). I ended up buying 2 CPO Toyotas and getting incredible trade-in values for the cars we were getting rid of. Competitors couldn t even come close. All staff members were beyond courteous and great to work with from start to finish. Highly recommend.

Update:After injuring my back, it was difficult getting in & out of the Corolla, so back to Peoria Toyota! Our favorite salesperson, Emilee, was there to greet us! She found us the perfect car on the first try! We were sold on the 2024 Camry Nightshade as soon as we sat in it. Emilee brought us the numbers, but we were too far apart. She went to Eddy, the sales manager & he came in. He worked magic with the numbers & we made a deal. We then went to Doug, the finance manager. He found a couple more discounts for us! We couldn't be happier with our new Camry! If we ever need another Toyota (yes, only Toyotas for us now) we'll go back to Emilee & Peoria Toyota! We highly recommend! This was our best car buying experience! Emilee was our sales person & we would've missed a great deal if she hadn't contacted me that morning! She's excellent at her job! Seth worked hard to close the deal! Leslie in finance was awesome! Everyone was so helpful, friendly & most of all honest! We will definitely be recommending O'Brien Toyota!

After my drive up to Peoria without AC, I was soggy and irritable. Todd Cook deflected my attitude by being very personable and efficient. I was dreading mansplaining and pleased to know Todd was above that.Had a bump or two in Finance. then all was well. The delivery drivers were great! As my street does not have parking, I left instructions for easier access to my parking lot in the rear of the building. The drivers had not received them, but they sailed in without a hitch and were all smiles.

My wife bought a car a few weeks ago, great car and amazing car salesman Doug. We loved Doug and his energy. We however did not enjoy Leslie a financial manager. His attitude and demeanor was highly unprofessional and negligent. Never once did he address my wife when we came in and she said, she was paying cash up front. Never tried to talk to her, only to me about the packages that they offered. Ket going on until i just sat there looking at him silently with my arms crossed.Leslie continued to belittle us when we declined all of the offers given to us for 20 minutes. He sat there asking us if it was a money issue. He asked if we needed any kind of financing. It is not like he knew we were paying in complete right wait he did know. Then had a small tantrum when we kept saying no.Then had the audacity to tell us we could not take the car home that day when everybody else involved said it was good to go.To top it off, he tried to charge us extra from what the final cost was suppose to.I came to find out, other customers have had similar issues with Leslie, a Financial Manager. Again, Doug and the rest of the Toyota team were amazing and professional. Leslie sucks.I know its not the first complaint about this guy.
