While the store has a decent selection, my recent experience with the staff was disappointing. During my visit, I found the staff to be unhelpful and seemingly disinterested in assisting customers. For instance, I inquired about several auto parts, including a battery, but was repeatedly informed they were out of stock, which I felt was an excuse for not wanting to assist further.Particularly concerning was when I asked for a battery test before considering a purchase, and the sales representative dismissed my request, claiming their battery tester was not functioning. This response felt unprofessional, and it led me to seek service elsewhere I successfully got the test done at AutoZone within minutes.Based on this experience, I can't recommend this store for items that require active assistance from the staff, such as tires, batteries, or wiper blades. If customer service is a priority for you, you might want to consider other options."

Tried to order a part for my car. The guy didn't ask the appropriate questions or listen to what hose I actually needed. Waited 2 days for nothing because the wrong one came. He gave me the wrong date so made 2 trips unnecessarily. Finally the item I needed they couldn't get even with sending an email for approval, which I never heard of. Ended up getting it online. Should have just done that to start with. It would have saved me a weeks time.

The rep who was helping me was very rude taking personal phone calls and kept getting loud and talking over me. I got his name and from what i was told this is something that happens with this individual more often then it should. I went in for a battery. He tried making 20 dollars off me. I filed a report with the district manager and he handled it like it should be. I have always bought from them and will continue.

I love O'Reilly Auto and the people that work there are very helpful. I had a defective battery in my riding lawn mower and I would take it to O'Reilly Auto every other week and without fail and without charge, they would recharge it at no cost. I don't know if they got tired of seeing my face or they concluded that the battery they'd sold me was defective, but they eventually swapped it out for a new battery and so I have not had to go up and grace them with my presence since then.

Pros:This location is perfect for those that want to stay near the interstate (I74) and has access to both east and west bound on and off ramps. If your traveling and need a part quick I would suggest going here as they are easy to find on the left as you go north from the interstate away from the 2 hospitals. The staff is very friendly and will hep you to find what you need. There are also some fast food restaurants nearby (only 1 or 2 blocks north from here) for your friends/family to eat at while you make repairs.Cons:The traffic here is very heavy as this is a main through street for this city with access to both the interstate and hospitals. I would not try to make a left turn out of this parking lot during the day because of a bush that blocks your view from that direction.

THEY HAVE ONE EMPLOYEE THAT JUST TURNS YOUR STOMACH ON KNOXVILLE AVE IN PEORIA. I LIVE A COUPLE BLOCKS AWAY BUT WILL GO ACROSS TOWN TO ANOTHER AUTO SUPPLY SHOP.

Good quality parts. Prices are usually in line with stores like auto zone and advance auto. I always search them when price shopping parts.
