Well, I hit not one but two raccoons within a two month period. Purchased a bumper online for 100 bucks and then had to make a decision on a paint shop to get this tri-coat soul red correct, and as close as possible to the original. Took a few weeks to get the bumper back but I'd say it was worth the wait. Went to pick it up today and I was concerned cause I didn't see the same amount of flake in it and it appeared to be darker. Compared it to the paint chip and I suppose it was close enough. Drove home and got to work. Is the paint 100% match? No not exactly but close enough that if you didn't know I had a bumper replaced then you wouldn't notice. I can't quit staring at my car. It's the first time I've been pleased with how my car looked in quite some time. Would I recommend them to other people? Yes I would, 4/5 due to paint match being a little off and another for communication. Thanks Bob and sorry for giving you a hard time on the color.Service: Painting

I brought my 2009 Toyota to BOB at Maaco because the vehicle condition was unsavory. The previous owners had a family so the exterior of the vehicle was showing some abuse. Bob & his team of professionals did a wonderful job removing dents, scratches, & other imperfections. (They also shower you with gifts of water, pop, or candy, lol) The time frame was acceptable as well. As far as communication, I gave Bob an acceptable amount of time & I can say he did his job of contacting me when it was necessary. Despite a couple flaws that he took care of at his time & his expense, I was happy with the quality of work done to my Toyota. I believe Maaco was more than fair in correcting their flaws. The van, now, looks pretty impressive & I would recommend this location & Bob & his team to others wishing for the same good experience. Bob's attitude was really good & they treat you the way customers should be treated. Thanks Maaco!

***UPDATED PLEASE READ*****I hit a raccoon and that thing did $3000 worth of damage to my vehicle!!! I called and Bob helped me out immediately! Fast forward a week later after dropping my car off I received a call that they found something else broke and it d be a little longer than they expected. Of course I was frustrated because I needed a vehicle but I understood that I wanted it fixed correctly etc! So I get a call and rather than me picking up my car from them and driving it myself to drop off at Chrysler dealership BOB covered the towing expense and got it towed there. I picked it up later after work. I ve had my car not even 2 days and it broke down in Morton just stopped working. I called Bob and he made sure to get a tow truck there to bring it back to the shop to figure out what went wrong. Yes, as I type this my vehicle is back at his shop BUT knowing that he was so caring to not only cover towing but he s also going to figure it out for me makes me feel some comfort! Fingers crossed it s an easy fix and I get my baby back tomorrow!When I picked up my car it would not even start or doors would not unlocke it was DEAD while In Maccos parking lot. The servicemen came out popped my hood claimed he needed to tighten my battery cable . Ok cool no big deal.FINALLY got my car back and drove it home from the dealership. Loaded my young child into the car and headed out for daily errands! When we came out of our first stop, the car would not start or anything! Called Macco but they were busy and needed to call me back. Never did. I had a family friend meet me where I was STRANDED and come to find out WHEN HE TIGHTENED MY BATTERY CABLES, HE BROKE THE NEGATIVE CONNECTION!!! My family member fixed it himself and took the broken piece into Macco explaining that if that would have came disconnected while driving on interstate, with my child it could have ended badly! They said they would call me to see what they could do for me and never called!!!! I m beyond sickened by this that they were quick to snatch my $1,000 I had to pay but slacked on calling to at least explain themselves or even offer an apology! Will never ever go back!

Prices are way too high regardless of what the economy says this place is supposed to have valued paint jobs and they do not anymore you might as well just go to a real paint shop and if they do a mistake they will not fix it they will blame it on you

I recommend no one to go to this place! They had my Nissan for a couple of months for a repair after I was in an accident. My SUV is still not driving correctly.

Will never recommend maccos for a car to be fixed at they had me and my fianc�s car for almost a year not fixing it they told me at first they won t fix it until they got the money they got the money money November 16 2023 and my car still is not done February 25 everytime we can they say oh it s going to be to done next week or the week after we have been hearing this same line since December Ive been hung up on and lied to they told me they would call me back Friday nobody called so I m calling lawyers Monday long story short find somebody else to do your car they suck

One of the worst body shops I ve ever worked with. I brought my car in for minor hail damage and in return they chipped my paint while replacing my trim. On top of the chipped paint, my trim isn t even sitting properly on my body. I have brought my car in two times to fix the damage they had caused and each time my car comes out looking the exact same as before. Bob the front desk person is being very short and is not taking my incident seriously. PLEASE go to another body shop that will treat you well. I wonder if the employees would feel the same if it was their vehicle. Very disappointed in this shop.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

They got my car in and started working on it very quickly after calling for lots of body work after collision. This was an insurance claim. Friendly customer service, easy to get ahold of for updates. They failed to align my hood properly with the front bumper. After they attempted to make it right twice, they couldn t get it right. Gap still remains, 90% happy with overall experience. Also would have been nice not to get it back with 6 miles til E & 2 low tires. After asking, they did throw a little gas in it for me. To be very clear my car had lots of damage and overall everything looked good and like new, just disappointed with the hood. Paint also holding up well after a few months. Vehicle was completed in the time frame my insurance allowed for a rental.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I would like to say, very nice people at this location. But, the customer service isn t good at all. Too many times I had to call to check on my vehicle to get the run around. They kept telling me my vehicle will be done the next day, and which lead to another week and a half. The estimate that I had got went up a few $100 without me knowing, until I got there to pick it up. I personally believe, they should call their customers to give updates on customers vehicles. My two week body job, took nearly a month (26 days). I absolutely understand stuff come up, but don t keep giving the run around. The work they did to my vehicle is good, can t complain about that. But, I probably wouldn t use them again.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

My insurance gave them a heck of a time and yet bob still went above and beyond to make sure that I was happy and taken care of. Mark is great along with all the guys there. They are all very polite and knowledgeable, will not be taking my cars anywhere else after this but to these guys. They are busy and backed up because of how many people they have wanting to use them. Biggest points to bib for dealing with myself and the insurance and still having the ability to get my car back to me quickly and pain free.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Never get anything done by this place. Might look good for a year or two, but it will be right back to where it was when you took it to them. I'm repairing the fenders again, but not through these robbers

While driving on the interstate, I happened to hit a bird (I saw the bird at the last minute, it made no attempt to fly out of the way, and I couldn't swerve to miss it). I hoped against hope that the bird had somehow survived, but alas, the poor thing got stuck in the grill. Well, actually, behind the grill. It was inside the grill. I tried to get the bird out myself, but I couldn't figure out how to pull it out and I couldn't push the bird out of the bottom.I normally would have just taken it to my mechanic, but I was in town for a softball tournament and wouldn't be able to get to my mechanic for a couple of days and didn't want the bird to start smelling or anything. So, I looked up the closest body shop, Maaco, and I'm so glad I did.I am so sorry for not remembering names, but the two gentlemen at the front desk were so incredibly helpful and kind, offering me chocolate and water while I waited, and didn't at all judge me for a rather bizarre situation. But it turns out I didn't even have to wait long. A mechanic had just come back from lunch and managed to pull the poor bird out from behind the grill in less than five minutes. Bless him! And they didn't charge me.They really helped me out and I'm incredibly thankful.

I called the other day about an appointment and they were able to get me in quickly. My appointment was for 9am today. I showed up and the door was locked and the closed sign was on. The hours said 9 to 12. I waited until 9:10 and then left. I will not be doing business here now.

I was having a bad week. Dad had passed this week and I was at the goodwill taking care of some things and someone keyed my hood. Big swirled scratches. I took it to maaco on brandywine drive and they had me pull it in. They pulled out buffers and a paste and buffed out the hood. It looked awesome. When I asked how much, he said no charge. Have a good day. They are awesome and I will take all my business there and recommend them 1000 percent-!Service: Body & Trim

Very slow, service wise. It took them almost a month to repair and paint a series of small scratches on the passenger side of my car. Once getting the car back my passenger door wouldn't unlock, the technician had screwed something up and I had to take it back to them.If you want service and quality, take your car somewhere else.

This was my 1st visit I was pleased with the manager Todd over the phone. When I took my car in I met the owner Bob which was great with helping with my needs. He worked hard 2 help me save wherever he could. I visited this location from Davenport, IA I drove 100 miles 4 great service and good prices... I can't wait 2 c my new color on my car yay!!!

Had my hood touched up due to dings in the leading edge and the roof was re done due to delamination. Looks great, great paint match. Service was very good. Found a fresh scratch on the quarter panel that didn't see at first since car was picked up in the rain. Took it back and asked if it was possible they did it during the process and they stepped up agreed and said bring it back any time. Not only fixed it like new but touched up another spot, buffed out some other areas and made the car shine, no charge. Very pleased with the service and would recommend these guys. Great experience. They seem to like what they do. Car is silver and 11 years old.

Needed one door painted on my older car...stopped in here after getting serious sticker shock at a couple body shops. The owner was very understanding of my desire to just get a basic inexpensive coat of paint on the door so it would look presentable. While he made sure to explain all my options, he did not try and pressure me in any way to upgrade from the very basic, bare bones paint job I wanted. The quote was a small fraction of the body shops I had visited. He got me in very quickly, and the door looked amazing!! I am thrilled at the results for the price I paid, and I received a lifetime warranty in spite of getting the basic bare bones paint job. The owner was pleasant, professional and easy to do business with

I made an appointment to have rust repair done to my truck. I was told bring it in on June 7th and I also was requested to put $200.00 down to order parts. I took my truck in on the appt. date, 6/7/21. They now have had my truck for a month and have not started to work on it yet.Services: Painting, Body & TrimServices: Painting, Body & Trim

BEWARE!Took my truck in for repair. The estimate was for 12.2 hours. They had my truck for 14days. Ask several times why. Got no answer from them. They didnt work the dent out, just filled it. The paint work was no where near the standards pertaining to their website. Over spray on weather strips, accent panels, door jambs and in the cabin of the truck. Had to take truck back to be repainted. Left a list of the issues pertaining to over spray. Still was not dealt with. I am seriously considering contacting the Attorney General's office and filing a complaint, as well as to the Better Business Bureau. Will not recommend this shop to anyone.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I will NOT recommend anyone I KNOW to go to this location.Went back because I noticed some damage done where the work was done. Took it back in to show the owner & his assistant. They tell me the damage was small but gave me a quote to replace the damage but will go half on the damage w/ me lol. After reviewing the damage they go the back & come out w/ the worker who I guess did the work on my car. This guy had to be at least almost 80yrs of age. The owner & his assistant asked him does he remember working on my car & does he remember doing the damage of course the worker says no (sigh). The owner tell me well.... he's been working for me for years & years & many more years to come that he blvs his worker over me pretty much. I SAID OK.

Overly pleased with the outcome of the paint job on my smart car. Highly recommend! The metallic is the best!! Definitely worth the drive. Maaco was half the cost of the local dealership bodyshop and the quality is just as great!

I have used Maaco- Peoria many times over for business needs as well as personal. I will continue to use their services. Bob and his team are easy to work with and they do what they say they ll do. It makes me feel good to support small business, and they make you feel appreciated for supporting their small business. They re a Diamond in the rough now days.

I inherited my father's truck and couldn't afford new paint at any other local shops, so I called Maaco, and I'm so glad I did! For $10-20,000 less than other quotes, I got a fantastic paint job. My dad's truck sparkles like new. They even found new pinstripes that match what he had perfectly. As if the quality of work isn't enough, they also know how to treat a customer. The service that I received there when my brand-new paint job got damaged was second to none.I would never trust one of my cars to anyone else.
