My wife ruined her tire on the way home from work. I took the wheel to my local dealer the next morning. Less than an hour later they called and told me it was ready. While I was initially dropping the tire off - an African American lady came in because one of her tires was low and she needed help. The staff helped her without hesitation. I was impressed with their kindness and professionalism. So much so that on the way to pick up my tire I stopped and bought the store a dozen Dunkin doughnuts. As an older person ( I am almost 70) human kindness and good service mean a lot to me in this increasingly unkind and polarized world. That is the reason for my score and why I will be giving this store my future business.

I should have looked at the reviews prior to my +1hr drive to this store. Scheduled for an alignment several days prior - confirmed appt Thurs, and arrive on SAT and told they do not align cars on weekends. After several minutes of conversation they accept the vehicle.... 3 hrs later, the alignment is worse than when I arrived. Steering wheel is off, and have much worse alignment than when I arrived. Will never go back to this location.

Took off and damaged a part without a replacement. Spent 6 hours in the store and didn t leave with my vehicle. Jarrid tried his best to help get a replacement and a part after the mechanic messed up. Mechanic claimed he didn t have the right tools to take it off so used an air hammer instead.

I paid for a tire patch up. Days later the tire went out where I had to call AAA. l was told by the AAA guy that the tire was never plugged. I still have the receipt and all. I just know the kind of place this is and will never return. Typical scammers. Bet I can guess why they tried it. AVOID this "shop." It's clear they pick and choose who they will actually service or scam.

On Wednesday March 6th I went in for a scheduled appointment to get a vehicle inspection, I waited there while my car was being serviced, after they were done I was told of numerous issues that needed to be repaired, some I already knew about others were a complete shock because I knew that it wasn t true, I was told that I had missing and leaking brake lines, I got completely annoyed because I was just by my mechanic s place of business and he didn t say anything about missing and leaking brake lines, I told the technician before I left Firestone that I knew my brake lines were rusted by they aren t missing or leaking, I went to my mechanic Friday March 8th to get a second opinion and he let me come to the back while my car was on the lift and showed me where the brake lines had been previously replaced before I bought the vehicle, he showed me that there wasn t any leaks or any lines missing, he said that they made that up at Firestone to get you to get work done that you didn t need, I knew it but I had to get a second opinion, please steer away from this location, they are involved in deceptive practices and to those unsuspecting customers who don t know any better, just imagine if they lied to me how many other customers have they lied to and who paid the money for repairs that they didn t need, I ve already called their complaint hotline and made a report, im calling consumer affairs, BBB and the Attorney Generals Office to make them aware of this location deceptive practices

I would never recommend Firestone I went for an oil change they left the cap off my car oil had spilled all over my engine. I got pictures and paperwork from another shop of what they saw and firestone denied my claim.

Made an appointment only to have it broken because the person making the appointment didn't check availability. If I can't trust them to honor an appointment, why should I trust them with my vehicle?

They are a warranty work provider for SilverrockWe made an appointment to have our vehicle diagnosed even explained to the lady that answered the phone what the problem was and that it was warranty work. We arrive and the tech has to call the owner or manager because he believes they have stopped doing warranty work for Silverrock because they do not like dealing with the companyWhen the tech gets off the phone he informed us the do not have people that work there that are qualified to diagnose or repair the vehicleSo what do you do?!Firestone complete is the recommended repair location by the warranty companyDon t waste money or time going hereOn another note the parking lot is terrible, there was no toilet paper, soap or paper towels in the bathroom and the waiting area is disgusting

Took my 2004 Buick Park Avenue Ultra for a running rough problem. Changed out both fuel inline filters and flush the system and the auto body shop that had the car didn't aliergn the front of the vechile right it and Firestone was the only the place that clus fix ity properly. Also had this car a Peoria Plaza tire and tried tom get mt for 2400 worth of front end work was not ever needed.and Firestone said nothing was needed exempt and alignment. The P/S leak Plaza Tire told me needed a rack turned out tom be a small P/S pump leak not rack and needed a tie rod ends tightened and a 4 wheel alignment. Never go to Plaza Tire.

Staff didn't listen when i said my tire was going flate. The tech even asked how often i had to fill it. The tech just filled it up and didn't say anything or check for a leak. I should have asked, but I assumed they did their job. Had to go back later for it to actually be fixed right. Alignment is more expensive than other places.

Very disappointed with Firstone this is the 2nd time I had a confirmed appointment and something went wrong. This time they stated they didn't have my tires and wouldn't have them for 3 days. Then why did you confirm the appointment or better yet why wasn't there some sort of communication stating that. I will not say never but right now Firestone is off my list.

I had an appointment for an 9 am AC check and service. Dropped the car off the evening before. I called at 11 am. They hadn t gotten my car checked yet. Called at 1230 pm. They still didn t know if it had been looked at. Was put on hold and then got hung up on. Called back and was told it needed an ac recharge. It would take 2 hours and to pick it up at 530 pm. Got there at 530 pm, still wasn t done. Not even in the shop yet. Was told I would have to schedule another day to come in after having it there all day. I can definitely tell the place is very unorganized and am surprised they make any money with the lack of service. Don t go there. Now I m back at square one trying to figure out how to get my ac fixed. So upsetService: Air conditioning

Busy place! Staff was friendly and seemed happy.I had a immediate safety concern so the store manager (a certified mechanic) replaced my tie rod for me at 7am.It's comforting to know my car is now safe. I will definitely return for any further issues.

Another bad experience. This place seriously needs a management consultant. It s so poorly managed and operated. I can only imagine the amount of money they leave on the table. Scheduling system is terribly flawed. We showed up for our appointment and was told they d have to reschedule. Thanks for wasting an hour of our time that a simple call or email would have fixed. Read the reviews. Make a good decision and go somewhere else.

I made an appointment with Firestone for the next day at 4pm because my car was having issues overheating. I received an email saying "If your requested appointment date becomes unavailable, we will contact you directly to discuss rescheduling to a time that s convenient for you." I never received an email, so I assumed that everything was ready to go for the appointment. When I got there, I approached the person behind the counter who was on their cell phone. They informed me that my appointment didn't go through and that there was nothing they could do because "this happens all the time."On my way home, my car overheated to the point of it shutting down. I'm incredibly frustrated by the complete lack of customer service shown by Firestone. I called Midas on N University St. from a random gas station as my car cooled down and they were so kind about getting my car looked at.I loved going to Firestone for car care in other cities. I have a Firestone credit card because I use them all the time. I will never use this Firestone in Peoria again, and I will tell everyone I know to avoid this horrible establishment.

Ty and his team are amazing! They were able to fit me in on labor day to get all 4 tires changed. Thankfully they had them in stock and even price matched. Highly recommended service. They answered the phone when Pekin didn't. I know they're a little short staffed but still did the best they could on a holiday.

Got new tires hassle free! Afterwords I was reminded that I was due for an oil change, I was already pulled out of the bay and they pulled me right back in and gave me top qualities service. I have to give a major shout out to Ty! He made the wait easy and gave me real advice along the way. He truly seems to care for his team and his customers both.Services: Tires, Oil change

Got new tires here and paid extra for a full maintenance check which they did not do the lady at the desk Tina acts like she hates her job is very rude and shows no emotion her alone makes you not want to call the place. They did not do my full vehicle check even though I asked twice and paid extra they told me I needed new wheel bearings and tire rods which I took to a different shop and they told me those were fine the only thing I needed which was my brakes which they did not check! Overpriced, lazy , rude service incomplete service I would recommend somewhere else

Had an appointment it was confirmed and everything. I get there and no one is there and no one is answering the phone but it says they are open. I'm beyond irritated wasted gas and time. Never will go back.

I believe the star rating can be attributed to staff issues. We arrived to no one in the office, phones were blowing up and staff in the garage were all playing on their phones. I was satisfied with the tires and installation, just couldn't get anyone on the phone... Why would you not have someone, at all times, answering the phones? Service manager reluctantly checked us out. Price was OK.

Firestone here in Peoria is great. In the past month I've had to get a new tire on both of my families vehicles and they were very helpful at helping me find what tire was best for us and at what price. Got me in and out in under an hour on both occasions and were also very nice and professional.

No appointment on a Sunday for a tire replacement. Workers could not have been more helpful showing me the damage and explaining what they were going to try and resolve the problem. In and out in under an hour and a half. Highly recommended.Service: TiresService: Tires

If I could have left a lower star rating I would have. I have had it with this location! First off, upselling a $90 synthetic oil change to an 18 year old college student is dishonest and opportunistic! Another time your location recommended that my daughter take her car to a dealership; the PROFESSIONALS at the dealership pointed out that Firestone had missed a check. The dealership s exact words were, Firestone is supposed to check . As a consumer and parent I am livid that this establishment saw opportunities to take advantage of a young adult s inexperience while in tandem providing sub-par service.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

Sean and Nathan were very helpful and polite. I will definitely get my tires and service here from now on. Firestone gave me the tires I wanted installed, mounted and balanced for less $$ than other tire shops. I would definitely recommend.

Sean and his workers are A+. First it started out with the computer phone call appointments. Unfortunately there is a snafu with that program. Make sure you speak to an employee. Overall great experience with all. We are senior citizens and they know how to handle all ages as i witnessed waiting for my car. Thanks again from your main firestone district manager too.
