Alan is phenomenal. His crew is pretty awesome, too. Outstanding customer service. You're treated with respect. If you need anything from where the rubber hits the road to under the hood, this is the place to go! Highly recommended!

Alan and the crew at Big City Automotive helped me out Dec 23, 2022 when the temperature dropped to around -15 F several nights in a row. Two jump starts in 24 hours and an incorrect diagnosis from the previous shop didn t bother them a bit.They made a time slot to get my wife s CR-V in on short notice. They figured out what was really wrong with it and found a quicker cheaper solution to the problem!We live more than an hour away from them. Otherwise they would become my new car pace because went out of their way when I needed them and did a great job!

Kelsey and the team at Big City Auto were fantastic and as accommodating as you could ask for! I needed all 4 struts replaced on my Taurus and despite all the supply chain problems, the people at Big City Auto were able to get my parts in quite quickly! I dropped my vehicle off Sunday evening and left my key in their convenient drop box and by early Monday afternoon they were done! Great , fast service with a smile. I'll be bringing my vehicle here for any future work it may need!

My check-engine light came on and the engine started misfiring. My insurance's roadside assistance agent suggested we bring the car in to Big City Auto. We dropped the car off at 8:00 AM and they quickly diagnosed the problem. They replaced an ignition coil and got me back on the road by noon. I had no trouble on the returning 3-hour trip. I am so pleased at Big City's quick, professional response, and the price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend this shop.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Had to make a last minute appointment to get a ball joint and side step repaired. They scheduled me for the next business day. When I arrived for my appointment they got me right in and right out. The lady working the front (I believe her name is Kelsey) was very kind and made me feel welcome while waiting . Very honest and reasonable price. This will be my new go to mechanic! Thanks!

Very honest and reputable business. Reasonably priced and upfront with you about the potential costs and most needed repairs. I brought in, what I knew was an extremely high estimate, for repairs from major automotive repair business here in Peoria. I was appalled by the estimate they had given me. Big City Automotive charged me a reasonable price for my repairs. Thank you Randy and your team. Highly recommend this business for automotive repair needs.

I've been here twice so far and I was pleased EACH TIME. This is my new home to get my car fixed. They do their best to get the work done as soon as possible and the work has been spot on! Don't let me start on the VERY AFFORDABLE PRICES! Thank you guys!! I cant wait until next time.

My bravada was starting to give me issues I changed the battery it ran for a week and then died had it towed to my daughters home and then we changed the alternator with no prevale. Being somewhat new to the area I REALLY had no idea where to take my vehicle. Then I noticed to towtruck driver was calling BIG CITY AUTO everything changed and I had my bravda taken there on Sunday. I called them Monday morning explained the issue and it was just as I thought the fuel pump They had the part that day and to my surprise fixed it that day. My job depends on me having transportation and I am just so thankful for their help I'm beyond gratitude

Update: We were able to drive our car for the remainder of our trip without issue, putting on over 500 miles. The staff at Big City also recommended some local places to eat and attractions that were awesome. A few of our favorite being Obed and Issacs, Alexander's Steakhouse and the amazing homes on Moss Avenue!I was on vacation and it was 3 pm in a friday and my car started to overheat. I called them and even though they didnt have an open bay they were able to get me in to try and diagnose the problem. The issue was something completely different than I thought and they were able to diagnose and band aid fix it (the part needed wasnt available same day) so I could get through until I could properly address it. This was a lifesaver for my vacation!

The best team of mechanics in Peoria! Friendly, quick service -- and honest. You will not find mechanics as honest and hard working as these guys. Totally recommend them.
