Pedro is the man! Had to get some emergency brake work done on my car to make Christmas this year and he squeezed me in last minute to make sure the job got done. This is a shop that truly cares about its customers. Thank you again!

My husband was referred to 8A s by a trusted friend in the area when he thought his tire rod was causing issues. Pedro was so kind on the phone and got his car in and fixed it the next day.Because the experience was so great, my husband asked about an exhaust issue I was having with my Mini Cooper - which other local mechanics were hesitant to take a look at because Mini parts/tech can be more difficult to deal with in the area. Pedro mentioned to bring it in and he d be happy to look at it. We finally opted to get it fixed this weekend and had the same experience! Got it in and fixed the next day (and on a Saturday no less!).He charged half what the BMW dealership was wanting to charge for the same problem and now my car runs perfectly quiet.Couldn t recommend Pedro and 8A s more. Very fortunate to have a trustworthy local mechanic so close to our home!

Hands down, the best auto repair shop in the area. We have never experienced a more pleasant, honest, and open auto repair shop. Pedro, the owner, has true integrity and loves to educate his customers about their car. We needed our brakes taken care of in less than 2 hours, and he and his team were kind enough to do it. He also took care of a problem that was making too much noise and made us aware of ones that other mechanics never took the time to show or tell us. We will not take our cars anywhere else from now on. His prices are even better than the other shops we have been to. We highly recommended going to 8A's first before going anywhere else.

Best local mechanic, hands down. The only place I'll recommend for any and all repairs. Pedro and his team are awesome! I came to him for a second opinion on a pricey clutch repair. Not only was his quote lower than the competitors, he went above and beyond in service and excellence.Pedro is upfront, honest, efficient and also extremely friendly. Great guy, great shop. I won't take my car anywhere else and neither should you!

Pedro has been my go-to mechanic since I was in college. I have taken about 3 cars to him now, and every time he's known what the problem was and resolved it for me. There have been a few times where I've had work done by another mechanic due to being out of town and I haven't felt at peace until I've had Pedro double check their work. There is no one in Peoria that I trust more than him! Pedro is extremely friendly, has a lot of integrity, and does an excellent job.

Great service you can trust. I have taken my cars to Pedro for years. He is very trustworthy and knowledgeable. I always have a good feeling that he is taking care of me and not taking advantage of me. Highly advise going to him!

I needed my AC fixed and Pedro was able to keep the cost down by only replacing the necessary part and not the entire compressor. They proved honest and reliable. They will have my business from now on!

I have been coming to 8 A's for two years. They have worked on several cars during that time including my BMW M3, BMW 540i, BMW 550i, Infiniti FX45, and Lexus IS250. The work was done on time, done right (the first time), and at a more than fair cost. Pedro is probably the most honest mechanic/owner I have ever encountered and would highly recommend them to work on ANY car. I have referred several other customers his way and each of them have had the same experience.

I was directed to 8A's by a friend. They not only had the best cost around for my repair work, but also took my back home/delivered my car to my home upon completion of the repair, as it would take 2+ hours.I would highly recommend 8As'!

This unassuming facility is located on Main Street by the Bradley University area. They do repair and sell used autos. I learned about their service by chance. A good Samaritan, customer, overheard the Manager on duty at Walmart Auto tell me that they could not perform this service. (I had it done here before but, perhaps, their personnel might have changed ?) On my way to retrieve the car, he recommended 8 A s Auto Service. He said, I heard what he said. 8A by Main. That guy would be able to do it. Mr. Ochoa was very accommodating in that they were able to squeeze me in the day I called, August 27, 2018. (I explained I felt safer getting it done as soon as possible because it was now getting too dark by early evening driving on my way home.)Before replacing the bulb, he consulted with me and recommended changing the new filter which was located on the same side as well. This will be an additional $15 to the price. While waiting, I was given a courtesy ride so I can drop off my paperwork at a nearby vicinity. All in all, I paid $24 which included the material cost! I don t think I could have found any other service better than that.I waited for this amount of time before posting my experience and review because despite the excellent customer service and great price, I needed to confirm that the job was well done. I feel safe driving with both sets of high beam lights. Moreover, I finally took the time to pop off the two screws off the top panel covering the air filter and saw through the window panel the brand new filter installed.Businesswise, I recognized that I wasn t charge for the replacement labor which would have been his loss lead. I would certainly like to return that favor and see this guy s business thrive alongside the rest of the auto servicers out there.I was happy to share this find with my friends and neighbors! Apparently, one of my neighbors of 17 years already knew of him as well and his good work. I am able to say, this guy does live up to his good reputation.I am going to be due for an oil change soon and am comforted to know that I found one that does good work, with good genuine customer service at a price that I can afford and someone that I trust.by: Joyce Sampson , September 15, 2018 3:45pm

Don't go to this shop, I just change oil on them and usually I pay for this on other shops 160-180$. THEY CHARGE ME 255$ telling me only liesVery bad customer service, they throw on the floor the cellphone of my driver.bad bad bad service!!!!!!!!!
