"I will be back." I was looking for a glass and mirror that could cut down a mirror to size for me. After stopping by and calling several places both in Bloomington/ normal and in the Peoria area, they wanted $10 to $20 a cut to size my mirror, and some place wanted you to leave it at their shop for 3 up to 5 day because of their shop work load I called Pekin glass and mirror and they told me that the shop guys were out on a call but if I show up between 3 and 330 pm that they can help me out. I showed up, and they took the mirror that I needed sized, and within 5 mins time, they had it cut to size and and I was on my way home. They changed me a dollar a cut, which I thought was more than reasonable. Pekin glass and mirror have been around for years, and their customer service is top-notch, and their pricing is very fair. I will be back for future projects. Give them a call or stop by.

They did not show for 2 appointments. The woman on the phone was awful. She waipset with me because she forgot to schedule the appointment. I ve dealt with Pekin glass for yrs. , recommend them to those who were looking for the services the provide.They did offer to come out 3 hours after my appointment time. I was just treated so rudely that I wouldn t give them my money. The lady who does the scheduling, clearly forgot to put in on the schedule. Then proceeded to be rude and nasty.I have only written 1 google review before. I feel like every one has a bad day, just let it go.I feel like everyones time is valuable. Most of us work hard for our money. Hopefully this will save someone else from rearranging their schedule's and giving hard earned money to pekin glass. It s a shame a once reliable family business who valued the customers has declined so much.No apology from them they just made me feel like it was my fault. Sad very sad. Support this local business at your own risk.

I had cut glass for picture frames. They also carry a lot of unique mirrors and glass doors for showers. Unique gift items. Local business with good service.

Very friendly, however after 3 phone calls and 3 emails, I never got a quote for a repair. I even gave them full dimensions and specs for the work I needed. Too little, too late. Like any place else, they could just be overwhelmed with work and not enough help. It didn't work out for me though.

I gave Pekin Glass and Mirror a storm window frame for repair 3 weeks ago. Still not repaired. I will ask for it back tomorrow. Let's see then. Janel was pleasant when I initially presented my glass needs. Then later on she can be somewhat dismissive. The may need to hire a shop helper.

Dropped off window to be cut around 1130..called several times..said would be cut soon..430 rolled around so we called and he had just gotten back and was cutting them now..All 3 windows were cut in different sizes. At almost $50 a window ..Don't bother..go to Ace Hardware..way cheaper $20 bucks a window...
