Called Midas around 9am looking to replace a flat tire. They were able to order 2 new front tires and receive them the same day. I had an appointment at 4pm to have them mounted. Quick and easy service for a great deal. Customer service was excellent. The woman who handles the phone and the customers in the lobby was fantastic. She printed a cute coloring page for my kid was so nice to all of us. I already have a another appointment set to get some other things checked out on my car. Midas will be my go-to from now on!

I came in because I thought I needed a new battery. Midas could have taken my money and installed a new battery, instead they charged it and told me I didn't need a new one. Everybody there are pleasant and professional.I've been a longtime customer and will continue. They are great!

My drive battery died, so I had it towed there and they were fantastic. They fixed it the same day with zero prior notice even though I m sure they had plenty of other cars to do. Didn t charge outrageous prices (such a huge relief lol) and the staff are very friendly and professional. Kelly especially was super sweet. I m very impressed and so grateful to you guys. Had a wheel speed sensor replaced . Didn't fix the issue and was told it may take cycling truck on and off 200 to 600 times to relearn, which is insane. Dealer said should be instant after replacement. They didn't seem to care they got their money and sent me out the door.

Definitely recommend! I always feel like I'm going to get ripped off when I get things done to my cars. I went to get my front tires replaced and they suggested an alignment too. I said okay thinking it sounded like a good idea but knowing I would never know if they did it or not. They called me so I could pick it up when they were finished and let me know they didn't have to do the alignment and so it was cheaper than their original quote. Like I said, I would have had no clue had they not done it and charged me but they didn't. I will definitely go back.Service: Tires

First off, I've lived in Pekin just over 2 years.I have a very busy lifestyle which requires me to have a reliable vehicle at all times.Midas was referred to me by a friend and it isn't far from my home.The 2 Notable things I want to mention about this business is their UNBELIEVABLE TURNAROUND TIME and the Staff. I get my vehicles back in 1-2 days MAX!!!I would also like to mention how kind, selfless and honest Kelly and the technicians are here.On one occasion I was having TPMS sensor issues on my vehicle. Had a tire shop in town put them in and they didn't even sync the sensors in my vehicle. Midas synced my TPMS sensors for FREE and didn't charge me when I went to pick the vehicle up. Like I said before, I only go to Midas because I know I am a priority, the job will get done right by professionals and I don't have to wait several days to weeks to get my vehicles back.10/10 would recommend PERIOD!

Buying a used car from them is questionable. My sales lady Jen was determined to find what i wanted in what i could afford and that was great. The finance manager was good to but i had the car for two weeks and although they call and email and say if you need anything let them know, they are not helpful. They are not good at cleaning the car unless they send it to the main cleaning site, and u leave it overnight.I took the car to a Hyundai dealership by my home and they did an oil change with an oil filter that was to small. I was told my tires werent great and my brakes started grinding after i had it 2 weeks and they told me those weren't good at all. Who sells a car with bad brakes?!? So if u buy a used car, take it to a mechanic sooner rather than later. Otherwise they are super friendly but does that matter when u need a reliable car, more of a distraction.

The staff here at the Pekin location are very friendly. They work with me on repairing my 92 Volvo which is tricky due to parts being hard to obtain. They've done custom fab work as well. So nice to find honest employees that don't want to nickel and dime you this day and age. I hope the shop in Bloomington Normal is as good since I need work done again.

This is an excellent Midas. The service is top notch always. I got flat on a recently purchased tire, and they remembered me, replaced it faster than expected, and got me a good price on it. Very pleased.

Worst experience I ve ever had with a repair shop. They performed service on my car just for it to break down less than 2 weeks later from an issue that it was in the shop for. They advertise that they stand behind their work which is not the case here. They continue to pass the problem around from shop to shop because no one wants to take responsibility. I've used this shop several times and appreciate their competency and effenciency in taking care of things. They have great customer service. However, I was let down by them today in a big way. I had wheel bearings changed by them two days ago.Soon after leaving, I noticed a whirling noise from the front I hadn't heard before. I brought it back and they showed me the boot that keeps the grease in around the bearing had a hole. They refused any responsibility and are charging me $400 to fix it. I'm disappointed, because they acknowledge it wasn't like ths before the bearing change but say it could have been a rock (on the day I had work done to that area...) and wasn't related to the bearing change. $900 later for the two jobs, I'm broke and will be looking for a new shop.If they had been willing to at least split the cost with me,it would have made a big difference.I know they didn't intentionally damage it, but it's clear something happened to it when they were doing the bearings.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I love this place, I take my car there for everything. I know they will ALWAYS be honest with me about what does or doesn't need done. And they always give me the total beforehand of the things that need to be fixed immediately, or the price list of what could be fixed but isn't an emergency. Love them!

Midas in Pekin, IL was very professional and they got my car fixed the next day earlier than I had anticipated. My car ran quieter and my breaks worked impeccably. I am very happy with the quality of work these guys do and appreciate their honesty about what really needs to be fixed. I would highly recommend this auto repair company to anyone who wants to get car work done at an affordable price. Very pleased and will use them from now on.
