Gerber talked me thru the whole process of getting my hail damage to my vehicle repaired. They gave me an estimated timeline of how long it should take to complete the work and called me with an update. I was able to get my car back a bit earlier than I expected which was greatly appreciated and I am happy with how it looks.

Save yourself the headache and frustration by staying far away from this place. My experience with Gerber was horrific. Lack of communication and leadership at this location to say the very least. I was told 3 different dates, my car would be finished. What was only a minor repair took weeks. After telling me they where waiting on a part they didn t even need, and having to fix there paint defects, I finally picked up my car. But the real icing on the cake was they didn t even put a new valve steam cover on my wheel, I politely asked if they could find one for me, both the manager and the woman at the front desk showed no concern or attempt to resolve such a basic request. Thankfully one the techs took initiative to get me one. Don t give these people a moment of your time!!!

Gerber is so friendly, accommodating. And professional. They do great work. I trust them with all my vehicles. Here is the last thing I brought to them. My audi was in excellent hsnds.

My car needed worked on and it was dropped off 9/27. We had a rental car agreement for one month and for two weeks we have been consistently told "It's almost done! It's in finishing!" Our rental agreement ends today and when we said we needed our car back, first they said it wasn't done but then turned around and said it was and to come get it.It's still not complete. The A/C is out. When we called to inform them of this they told us to come back in only to tell us "Our tech isn't here, you'll have to come back tomorrow."Almost exactly one month to the day and multiple promises it would be done "in just a couple days" to get it back and it still isn't complete. This is unacceptable.

Absolutely terrible not only did they take in my vehicle and then have to send it back because they ordered the wrong parts but then the 2nd time i sent it in it took 2 weeks and THEN some because they ordered even more wrong parts.. obviously they don t know what there doing

Nice people but the work was absolutely terrible from scratches still on my car. My windshield still cracked a horrible paint job overspray everywhere and this wax like substance all over the interior of my car in every nook and cranny on the vehicle. Look elsewhere this place is horrible!!!

Avoid Gerber Collision in Pekin. They don't deserve your business and you don't deserve the headache of dealing with them.TLDR: Kept my car for a month and didnt fix one of the things they were suppose to fix.9/27: I dropped off my car at Gerber.10/10: I receive an email from Gerber saying my vehicle is almost finished.10/16: I email Gerber asking for an estimated day of completion. No response.10/20: I receive a call from Gerber saying my car is scheduled to be completed 10/25.10/23: I drive over to Gerber to talk to them in person. They told me it was still on schedule. I specifically asked if the AC and radiator were fixed already and they told me yes. I let them know my rental car coverage is over on 10/26 so it is important for me to get my car back.10/25 2pm: Gerber calls and said they have one last thing to finish in the morning then I can get it.10/26 11:11 am: I call Gerber asking when I can get my car. I'm told it isnt finished and it might not be ready today. I told them that was unacceptable and I needed my car back today.10/26 11:18 am: 7 minutes later they call and say it is finished and ready for pickup.I picked up my car and made it about half way home before realizing the AC still wasn't blowing cold air. I called Gerber and told them the AC wasn't fixed and they asked me to turn around a bring it back in. I get back to the shop and there is no one there able to fix it.10/27 Today: I had to take my car back and waste 3 hours for the AC to be fixed.Their excuse for the entire situation was "The AC machine is on the fritz. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't". So you know you have a malfunctioning machine and don't even bother to check to see if it fixed my AC? If the AC was done before Monday, as they said it was, my car was sitting there for days with an AC they could have tested for 2 minutes to see if it worked. Especially if they knew the machine wasn't working right.I wish I could give you negative stars as a rating.Services: Auto windshield repair, Painting, General repairs & maintenance, Body & Trim

19 DAYS for a $1,500 repair to the roof when we were told it would be 5 days. Absolutely unacceptable amount of time for such a small repair. Horrible communication. Awful planning and time management. I would not recommend Gerber Collision to anyone for any reason. They appear to be incompetent.I dropped my vehicle off on June 7th for a minor repair job that I only had fixed because the car is on a lease. I was told the job would take about 5 days, which I though was a bit too long for the work being done, but I went along with it anyway.It wasn't until June 13th that I received a text message stating "...roof moldings needed to be ordered..." and "Paint team is a little backed up" What??? Parts haven't been ordered and you haven't scheduled the work for paint??? I was informed the car would be ready between 6/20 and 6/23.On 6/20 I received a confirmation text, "we are still looking for completion this week".On 06/22 I had not received word that the car would be finished, so I called and was told the car would not be ready until 6/26.The worst autobody shop I've every experienced.

We were VERY impressed with the people and the workmanship of Gerber Collision in Pekin. They were friendly, efficient, and kept me informed throughout the repair process. I got 2 crushed side panels replaced and couldn t be more thrilled! 10/10 would recommend Gerber Collision! My kid said Wow Dad, how did they do that?! I was pleased with the staff who kept me up to date throughout the process of repairing my vehicle. Workmanship is excellent and they guarantee their work. I would recommend Gerber for auto body and paint work.

My insurance sent me to the Peoria facility, but they said my car could get done faster in Pekin. Everyone I dealt with at both locations was very professional and thoughtful. They were smart enough to under promise and over deliver on repairing my front end. They even rushed the final once-over so that I could head out of town. Thank you Gerber for a refreshingly good experience!

These guys was, will you just can't find a shop that you can but trustin like Gerber's. They made me feel at ease with what they had to do. Gave me a timeline for the finished job and they were right there. I would recommend them to every one who wants their car done right. They are the ones to do it.

I would recommend this place to anyone needing their car repaired. I got hit by a deer and they did an amazing job fixing my car. Even when something broke they took the time to find the correct part and replace it at no cost since it broke while they were taking it apart. The guys are very friendly and stand by the jobs they do.

I had work done on my '96 accord a few months back from something else and Gerber Collision did an outstanding job replacing and fixing the damage on that, but just recently a deer hit the side of my vehicle and therefore I couldn't open the passenger door. Two of the competitors near by quoted me between $150 - $180 just to be able to open the passenger door again, but when I brought it to Gerber Collision just to get a quote, I believe the gentleman's name was Greg who was the one that used a tool to pop the side fender back into place at no charge. I tried to offer him cash, but he politely declined. I was shocked. That made my day a lot better. Additionally, the rest of the staff were polite and professional too. Twice already Gerber Collision has done me well and i'd definitely choose them again any time.

Yall i dont know what to say besides this place should have 10 stars!!! They were soooooo nice and professional n made sure i knew what was going on everystep of the way they even washed my car annnnd yall i have a gold car sumtimes very hard color to match yall i went to get my car n you wuld not even know i was in a wreck n i had over 6k in damage done to my car, they made it soooo un stressful i will continue to go to them for things needed and highly recommend them to anyone! Everyone i spoke with was friendly n talked to me not at me n did not make me feel dumb like most car shops do they took the time to explain things n even the manager spoke to me n wen i picked up the car he made sure i was happy with it before i left n that everything was ok n up to my standards! So yall need work done this is the place to go!!!!

Friendly informative helpful unfortunately my damage was more than my jeep was worth ! The day after they got my jeep they had the estimate. I have had a vehicle fixed by them before which met my expectations!
