My wife took our car in for our free 25000 mile service and was told the car failed on the alignment rack. She was not given the print out or any information on what it failed on. They then asked her to make an appointment to correct the issue at our cost. All this on a car with 24,000 miles on it.

I m always pleased when I come, this time was the same with one exception. When checking out and talking to service representatives, I asked about my tires and was asked if I purchased them there. Yes, I told them, they looked at sheet and it was right there but when sheet was printed I was charged for my tire rotation. Service rep. Had to remove and reprint. I do not want to have to go over my bill when I pay, please try to double check small details.

I want to start on by saying that Miguel was very kind. But that is the only positive I have for this visit.I have always came to Pekin Toyota for oil changes, and haven t had any other issues with my car. I had a check engine light come on so I didn t think twice about bringing it here. A day after I dropped the vehicle off they said they thought they knew what was wrong but that the part was covered by warranty anyway. After 4 more days (and they were out of loaners) I get a call saying the part was in, but it s actually not covered. They then asked did I want to still replace the part and pay just under 1k for it even though they couldn t guarantee that was the problem. I said no, and made an appointment somewhere else (this place had it diagnosed and fixed within 36 hours). I did still have the oil changed, and went to pay and saw that they tried to bill me $150 in diagnostics, when they couldn t even tell me what was wrong with it.It was a disappointing experience to say the least. Sadly, I cannot recommend Fort s Toyota of Pekin anymore. I came to Fort s because I have family & friends who have been buying Toyotas from them for years and they ve already taken good care of them. My parents have always had good experiences there as well, so I expected to get the same quality of care. I purchased a 2020 Ford Escape with 52,000 miles and felt great about the deal. Price was great, it was perfectly equipped, and the age & mileage of the vehicle was perfect for my budget. The sales person I worked with, Dustin, was very nice & very helpful. The finance manger got me a great deal on my financing and was also very nice & helpful. Both seem like stand up guys I have very good things to say about them. These two guys are the only reason Fort s gets a 3 star review from me.However, about two weeks after I took delivery of my car, the service engine light came on. I was near a Chevy dealer at that time and they ran the codes and it indicated a problem with a sensor in the emissions system. The pickup I had been driving prior to buying the Escape was quite a bit older and had been throwing these same codes for a long time, leaving me stranded on the side of the road 3 times. Based on my experience with my pickup, I was understandably pretty upset about this discovery, especially from a newer vehicle with lower miles. I called Fort s service to see if they would look at it and they flat out told me they would send it off to the Ford dealer. I found that very off-putting as it felt like they were blowing me off because it wasn t a Toyota. I expressed my concerns to Dustin and it was suggested that I use my extended warranty and go to the Ford dealer which I ultimately did. This all happened before I had even made my first payment. In a similar experience, I also had called to get a price for a part for my other vehicle, a Pontiac Vibe (mechanically a Toyota Matrix). They told me they couldn t get the part because it was a Pontiac. They could have taken one extra step and found the part number for the Matrix, but did not offer to do so.If you are buying a Toyota or just buying a used car, they are a perfectly fine dealer. I have nothing but good things to say about Dustin. He took good care of me when I bought it and has tried to put on a good face and keep me calm. Thank you for your efforts, Dustin! As for the quality of care I ve received from the service department, I haven t felt like Fort s gives a rat s rear end unless you drive a Toyota. If you buy a used car from them that is not a Toyota and have any issues after the sale, save yourself the trouble & call an independent shop or the brand s service department. Fort s service department will not stand behind their products.

Salesman, Scott Hall, is very professional and an expert in his field. I had a 2007 Toyota so a lot has changed in the way cars are made over the years. He must have thought of this as he explained carefully and in an organized manner all the new technology in my 2021 Toyota until I was comfortable.

My receipt indicates customer requests tire rotation , there is no diagram describing how this was done. I would like to know the sequence used in this operation. The reason being, one of my tires may have a slow leak or malfunctioning pressure sensor. I would like this information so I can track potential problems with this tire/sensor combination.

I went to Fort's Toyota of Pekin Service for a routine oil change and a multi point inspection. I am from Chicago and usually go to my Chicago Toyota (and they do a great job every time) but since I am in Peoria Illinois I have to go to this town's Toyota. Previously they would do the multi point inspection and check everything from the tires the engine everything, so that's what I expected. With this multipoint inspection they told me about a service that I knew already from my Chicago Toyota repair service that was the most expensive service and quoted me double or more for the service. And did not check anything else and said everything else was good. My tire pressure light was on previously and that's why I wanted them to check it to see what I needed, was it the brakes? the pads? or tire treadwear? I don't know because after my multipoint inspection the light still comes on. And to give an example (this is before my multipoint inspection) I was making a turn and almost slid on dry ground into another lane and I wasn't going fast. So I definitely will not be going to this Toyota repair service and maybe they are going back to cheating people because they are women. I don't know maybe I'm over reacting. My husband doesn't know about cars so he never comes with me for these types of things and sometimes I just have him there for appearances but quite honestly I actually never had to in Chicago.Service: Oil change

I just had Fort's replace my lower seat cushion on my van. Technician did a great job an the price was very good. Sits like a new seat again, Thank you Fort's Toyota for all you do to keep the customer happy. I will be back.....

It's a nice place, friendly staff. Got help looking at cars some what. Was trying to get an idea of what Toyota vehicles are like. Didn't get to test drive one. The sales person seem to be in a rush.

My brother bought my car and was driving it back to Colorado on a Sunday. It was a Saturday morning I contacted Toyota about a bad noise my car was making. Miguel had me bring the car in to determine the problem. With help of the mechanic Drew, they determined it was the alternator. They were able to obtain the part and install it for me so my brother could drive it home. They were fast, very respectful and I appreciate them not blowing me off.
