I recently brought my vehicle here for an inspection and I had a great experience. Going into car shops can always feel daunting because you just never know if the mechanics are going to be honest and we as consumers take them at their word. This shop was time efficient and they were honest with me about the condition of my vehicle. They didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need which I appreciate dearly. I will definitely be back when it's time for me to get maintenance work done for my car. Highly recommend!

I would definitely recommend Firestone to someone. The customer service is always top notch-whether I am calling or in person in the store.The most recent visit was a weird one-and I think it's also just me learning about cars and to ask and never assume things. I didn't stop and think that when I bought a new tire after having a flat tire, that it wouldn't be put on my car where the spare tire was. As someone with anxiety about wanting to keep others happy and not make a fuss, I was SO appreciative when, after paying for the tire and being asked if I wanted help taking it out to my car and my slightly freaking out (because how was I going to get this tire on my car?!), they fit me in and put the tire on my car. I've been to other places who would not have done that.

These folks are excellent! Great customer service and very knowledgeable mechanics. We were traveling from at Louis to Metamora and had car trouble. They were quick to get us in and check out our car. They fixed it and we were off. Can t say enough great things about everyone at this location. Thank you!

Woke up to a dead battery so I put the charger on the battery then I called Firestone. I explained to them what had happened and I ask them if I got my vehicle to start was there any way I could bring it to their shop. I wasn t sure if I needed a battery but was afraid to shut it off if i got it started because it might not start again. They told me no problem and they would squeeze me in. I got my vehicle to start and drove to the Firestone store and I was in and out in about 45 minutes. They checked my battery and installed a new one. They had a sale plus they applied another coupon which saved me approximately $50 plus dollars. Being a recent widow and 73 years old I can t tell you how much their professional service and discount has helped me. Thank you so much Firestone.

I was told I had to take my Jeep to a dealer because they couldn't reset my codes or read the codes because of some lock jeep has. Well, Autozone could read my codes! I went to an independent mechanic and he was able to complete a complete diagnostic check. Once the warning came up, he clicked past it, and completed the complete check on my systems. Not sure why Firestone couldn't figure this out. Uftring also stated that there was no reason it couldn't be done. And they only put in the minimum amount of coolant and within 24 hours, it was showing that it was overheating again. Thank God for Rich Wilhelm at Redeemed Automotive.

Went in and got new tires. They didn't tighten my lug nuts. I found this out when my vehicle started shaking and making a lot of noise on the highway. I pulled over found the problem tightened them and took it immediately back to Firestone .Not only did they not tighten them but cross threaded one lug nut to the point I had to wait for about half an hour for them to replace the stud. Buyer beware.

Called the night before about getting some new tires put on some rims I already had off the car. They were extremely helpful and told me they could get me in quickly since they didn't have to use a vehicle lift. Dropped them off the next morning and they had them done in an hour! Everyone was very friendly and it was a positive experience. This is my 2nd visit for tires and both experiences were great. The price was very reasonable and the tires hold up very well. I won't go anywhere else for tires.Service: Tires

Had a nail in my tire. Wasn't fixable due to the nature of the damage. Had to purchase a new tire that was alot more expensive than I was expecting.I am not sure the exact details but they managed to get a tire on my vehicle for quite a bit lower in cost than I was originally told, which was a relief with todays economy.In the future when I require new tires or maintenance I will definitely take my vehicles to them. Quick and friendly service and they went above and beyond to reduce the unexpected cost of having to purchase a new tire.Thank you all at the Pekin Firestone !!Service: Tires

Waited because they were waiting on customer. Another person comes in another lady chimes from behind the counter can I help you? Uh yeah sure help the person that just came in... not the family waiting for 20 min. Lobby filthy, trip hazards, and dingy glass windows/floor. Umm it's the lobby folks and the place is disgusting... and the repair Shop area had lubricants, garbage, old parts etc littered about. Employees in the shop were eating in the work area and on phones gathering to look at whatever the phone displayed laughing about. Didn't come off as responsible, looked like a bunch of part changers acting like kids. Disorganized, poor customer service, and was fed b.s. regarding car repair needs. Employees looked like they were on drugs.

This may be the best Firestone center in all of Illinois and that is saying something considering they all appear good. My wife was stranded in Pekin, far from home, with a broken down car and they did everything in their power to help her out. Very honest and reliable mechanics. Thank you.

All new tires mounted and balanced. Easy in, easy out. They didn t have the tires that we had originally agreed on, so they gave me an upgrade but added a discount so it wouldn t be too much more. I think the price went from around $980ish up to $1128, even after the discount. The technicians worked very quickly. I believe they forgot to check our oil level because the very next day our oil light came on! After checking we added 2 quarts to bring it up to normal level. So it leads me to believe they missed the check point most auto shops offer. I don t know this for a fact tho. It was like a nascar pit stop, from when they took the car, it was completed in less than 15 min, probably closer to 10 . I didn t officially time it but I have an idea I walked next door to Culver s, talked on the phone for a couple minutes before going inside then ordered food and had just started to eat when I seen our car leaving the shop! About 10 min later the nice lady at Firestone called me to let me know it was completed.I still trust Firestone, sometimes people are so good at there job, they just seem to be too fast . As a matter of fact the car starting running very poorly not long after the oil change. So I had the car towed back to Firestone.

Made and appointment yesterday for today at 1pm only to be told after 2 hours of waiting for my car to get done and receive a phone call that they weren t going to get it done today and they weren t going to call me and tell me this. Then when I got there to receive my keys for my car the guy at the front desk threw my keys onto the counter.

I was honestly very frustrated because I brought my car in Monday morning. I was told I needed new studs on the tire but it would be ready in a couple of hours. Fast forward to Wednesday morning and the car is still not ready due to many different issues. I was definitely angry and planned on not coming back. However, they have replaced the bolt on the tire mount as well with no extra cost to me. They also rented me a rental car so that I wasn't put out anymore. It truly changed my entire opinion. While still inconvenient, I feel that they went above and beyond to accommodate me and make things right. Best part, once my car is done, I can leave the rental with them. They couldn't have done anymore to make me happy. Thank you to Anita who has seen this through. I know the issues were out of her control but she still did what she could to make me happy. They have my business and recommendation back for sure.

I have had nothing but great experiences with Firestone since I bought tires from them, I paid for warranty/road hazard and when I had a problem they took care of it right away. I would recommend coming to Firestone to get tires! Called on Labor Day and couldn't get anyone to answer the phone. I know the Peoria store had told me they were short on labor. Why even open on a holiday if you don't have the staff? Regardless I went to Peoria and had fantastic service.

Efficient operation! I had tires and wiper blades installed 10/16/20. I asked for an alignment but they checked my alignment and said I didn't need one. Everyone moved purposefully. The work was done earlier than expected. The staff were super busy with phone calls and unexpected walk-ins. Manager Anita and all the workers I saw acted professionally and clearly took pride in running their business well. And I've loved the tires and wiper blades these past two months. Well done, team.

Scam artists they will do repairs to your vehicle you didn't ask for literally cause more problems for your vehicle then tell you you have to pay all over again for the original repair you wanted done that they never did and charge you for services you didn't ask for 22 dollars for a full vehicle inspection that was not necessary go anywhere else but this place who treats customers like that especially with a name as big as Firestone

Went through their website to make sure they offered the tires I wanted, called and made an appointment, they didn t have the tires available, only ones that were $20 more a piece. I ll find somewhere else to go, thanks.

Worked repair into busy schedule for my needs. Honor warranty. Excellent for routine service and can do most major infrequent repairs on my 16 and 28 year old Buicks.

I was referred here by a close friend who values his truck and vehicles as much as I do. I can honestly say I've had great experiences here. I've only been here three times but every time they have been extremely courteous and very professional. Called twice to get tire prices and after 2 rings the phone was picked up and then immediately hung up. On the third call they didn't rudely hang up, instead they set the handset on the counter so I could hear them taking care of other customers. They never spoke a single word into the phone. After 62 seconds... I hung up. If you want customers, you should acknowledge them.

Stopped by as a waiter just to have one of my rims replaced due to damage. The service advisor was awesome and got me all set. Thirty-five minutes of waiting I kindly asked the advisor whats the eta? The shop manager or dispatcher then came out to inform me that they refuse to work on my car. Thanks for wasting both of our times. I ll definitely never come back.
