I had 4 tires mounted and put on my car. I picked up my car and got 2 blocks away and my left rear wheel came off and passed me. The wheel hit a house, fortunately no one was hurt. After my car was towed to a different shop, I went back to absolute and was treated very poorly. In the end I had to pay 300+ to get my car back on the road. The owner of absolute said he was not responsible because I should have taken my car back to him for repairs.

I d give zero stars if I could. Brought the car in to have my wheel bearings replaced, and supplied all OE parts. Not only was I charged over $100 more than what was agreed upon, the car came back and instantly had ABS issues. They denied any wrongdoing and let it sit in their shop for multiple days while they claimed they were finding out what was wrong. Told me that the sensor was corroded (it wasn t) and that it wasn t their fault. Sensor has since been replaced and the issues persist. The owner of this shop was incredibly rude from start to finish, and I would NEVER suggest anyone going to this place. Garbage work and garbage people.

Great service. Called and they got me right in. I bought a new tire. Was in and out in about 10 minutes probably less. Definitely going here for my tire needs and probably other stuff too.

Needing their help at 3pm on a Saturday. Looking at their hours on Google and on their front door upon arriving here, they are supposed to be open . but they are not! Wasted trip! Thanks for nothing. Don't believe their hours on Google.

Do not go to this place. Got a tire from here cost 65$ went flat next day then had to air it up every other day after. Took it back they look at it and had peice of metal in it. Ask for another tire was gonna sell me one with a plug in it already for the same price as first one. So i just had them plug the one I bought,cost me $20 then went flat the next day. Never go back there again.

I called to get a price on used tires 265/65R17 he wanted 75.00 tire that included balancing and put on. For a few dollars more why not go onto walmart.com and bye brand new. Done going there for tires with there crazy prices....

4 weeks ago, I heard a humming noise in my right front. I took it to this shop, they said it's the right front wheel bearing. After $ 135.00 to a part store and $ 90.00 to absolute it was fixed, told them I was happy to find a shop that does it reasonable. I also told them that I would be changing the left one soon too, just in case.2 weeks went by, humming again in front, figured the left needed to be changed. Took it there and they told me your left bearing was fine but needed left side inner and outer and boots for tie rods, again spent over $ 285.00 for both sides plus $ 300.00 for labor to someone else that did it on the side.Reason for another mechanic was absolute mechanic told me after having my truck for 2 days he couldn't break the nut on the outer to remove it.My side mechanic told me no one had put a wrench on it and it only took him 15 minutes to disassemble one side.After it was done with new tie rods I took it to Tommy Tire to have the front alligned.The mechanic told me this morning that unless I get my front left wheel bearing replaced, which was gone, he couldn't allign it!!!!! Spent another $130.00 on another wheel bearing and haven't had to pay for putting it on yet.Now I've been in business for 35 plus yrs.and when I tell my clients what's wrong I have been 100% correct.If these mechanics don't know their profession they'd better start looking for a new line of work!!! I will make a complaint with consumer fraud and better business bureau.. STAY AWAY From this business.

I called 2 days in a row about getting tires changed they said they had my tire brand. I go there and drop my car off they put on different tires than requested and not even same brand from right to left. They market they have thousand of tires but don't even have 2 of the same. Oh and they left my 2 year old tires on front because they were better than the ones I just paid for...

Today I had my tire fixed by Dan and another young man. When I had called initially to do a price check they were straight to the point & immediately helped me when I pulled in. On top of it Dan saved me $45. Excellent, Fast, Friendly Service.

For starters don't judge a book by its cover. This shop has knowledge workers with great up front customer service. They took on a task other shops refused to do. They had confident in there workmanship and took on our request and actually completed while we waited. So if you should stop in and are set back on their in progressive appearance just know they're going to take on you repair like any professional. They will be upfront if it's something they can't do or can't be fixed.

Never anyone here who can actually help. I had an issue with a tire and there was one guy there. He was the mechanic so he couldn't help me and sent me on my way. I appreciate his honesty but I don't get the business part of having one guy at an automotive shop. I went straight to another shop and had my issue resolved in minutes.

DO NOT GO HERE. While I was there 2 separate cars drove by. One yelled profanitys the other flipped them the bird. I asked do you know these people. They responded no. It would later become clear why people don't like this place. Then I asked for help to remove a bolt to help switch out a battery. Because I didn't have the right tool to do it myself. Took less then 3 minutes to get the tool and take it out. The young kid working there said he usually doesn't charge for simple helps like this. And I would have tipped him nicely but the boss came out and said he was charging me for the standard 30 minutes of labor.which was 45 dollars. Standard or not it was 3 minutes worth of work. Doesn't seem ethical to me. So I will no longer advise people to go there. He could have been cool and fair about it and received my and my friends repeat business and even a decent review but this guy can and will rip people off. Don't even waste your time going there. If it would have let me. I'd give him no stars.

Fast and friendly service here. I've gotten at least 10 used tires from them in the last few years and haven't had a problem with one of them yet. They always say if you have a problem with a tire they have serviced just bring it back. 50/50 if you'll have to wait...but it's worth it, and the wait is usually very fast.

Went to get my tires mounted and balanced, price was $17 bucks, which is a fair price, they mounted my tire and then told me they couldn't balance it because it had sticky weights instead of whatever they use? Common sense would have dictated that they disclose that prior to pulling off the old tire and mounting a new one. I now will basically have to pay someone else full price for a mount and balance to finish the job they couldn't finish. Also they have visa and master card on the door but seem to only take cash.

Do not go here! They will try & scam you. Just went to ask if they could fix a front left blinker because I don t know what I m doing clearly. & I told him I had the bulb for it. He told me it d take them an hour and it ll be $50 bucks and I told him I only had $27 dollars to my name so I left. Went down the street to r.p auto and he did it for me for free! & it took him nothing more then 15 minutes. Some places only care about the $$ sign & this place is one of them!

Bought three tires here one day . They put them all on at the end of their work day . Was in a hurry and didn't bother to check the tires . Replaced one the very next day. Replaced one a week later and replacing the other today ...they replaced the first one but not the others. Took them elsewhere .

Decently Good used tires for the price i paid. One had a leak (Used tire, its to be expected) brought it in got it exchanged no problem. New manger and staff are nice.

Wish I could give 0 stars but you have to give it at least 1 to start the reviews. Told me for 3 days my car would get in the shop for them to see what was wrong with it. That was a Thursday. It's now Monday and my cars still not in. Having it moved to swings garage because they told me they would have it in immediately for me. Do not use this shop. I don't think they actually know what they're doing.UPDATE: Swings garage got my car in in 2 hours and will have it fixed in a day. Go there if you need work done. This idiot at absolute will jerk you around

Excellent service. I blew a tire in Pekin. Absolute put a new (used) one on and had me out the door in 5 minutes, for a super reasonable price. Couldn't be happier!

Have been doing business here for over 2 years. Have had tires, brakes done (new caliper and rotors as well) and numerous oil changes. Yesterday 1/26/18 my husband took the car in to get another oil change. There was only one gentleman working and he said he couldn't get to it then as he was doing a transmission job and was the only one there, but asked us to return today 1/27/18, at 8am. Upon arriving around 8 he wasn't open yet. Once opened my husband was told by a different gentleman that he was busy and couldnt do it today, mind you my husband was the only one there. I called and asked to speak with the manager. Was told ge wasnt there and so after telling the employee why i was so unhappy and explaining weekends were best as my husband works out of town and cannot make it to their shop during the week because of how late he gets home. I was then told that he remembered my husband and we are really nothing but a pain in the ass. I worked in retail for many years before becoming disabled and I could NOT believe the way I was being talked to. We will never take another vehicle to them for aby type of service. Not even a bicycle tire!

Say one price on the phone then price changes when you get there. Spin the tires on customer cars. I was almost hit by the shop owner while i was walking then he started cussing and trying to fight me. Last summer they drove there 4 wheelers and dirt bikes all over there property during business hours. I have heard much worse storys from the locals but i won't say those as i was not there to experience them

They will give u a different price on the same work everytime you talk to someone there! They will give you a price and at the end jack it up 100+dollors

Bought a tire it blew out within two weeks went back said they would replace it but didn't have that kind would call when they had one checked back 7-8 different times still didn't have that tire size said he would call when he had one .. stopped back today now it's been too long and he said if I have my receipt he could get me one a little bit cheaper .. you can kiss my ass too I sent down about 7 people to get work done there too kiss all them good by too I will never send you anybody again that's not how you do business pal... I've told lots of people to go there now I'm letting them all know how shady you really are...

My tire had a nail in it. I spoke to the owner on the phone and he was happy to help me. I walked in not too much later and the owner wouldn t even speak to me. I m a young black girl. He was so rude anyone black don t go here. He won t help you
