Stopped in for a few random items found exactly what i was looking for plus they have a friendly store cat that was a pleasure meeting! Will def be going back just so i can see the cat

You pay for convenience but very rarely have they not had what I needed. If I only need 1 bolt I only have to buy 1 bolt. And they are 1 block away.

Good store if you can't drive far, good selection of products but it's very pricey. Yes paxton is far from homedepot and lowes but the prices are very exaggerated. Walmart in Rantoul is a good alternative for some items.

Awesome hometown feel to this business. The staff is helpful and very knowledgeable. Pricing is a little on the high side but totally understandable considering the big box store effect on smaller businesses. Nonetheless, the location, employees, and inviting atmosphere of this business will keep me shopping at this location for many years to come. Reminds me of the businesses that operated in my Chicago neighborhood as a child before big box stores ruined the fabric of the community. I'm happy to be a part of a good ole fashion small community shopping environment.

Reached out via email for help identify/locating a specific & apparently unique type of hardware (I had lots of pics/examples of what I was looking for, but no clue what to call it, or even how to describe it intelligently to hardware experts).To their credit, they replied promptly to my email (hence 2 stars instead of 1). Unfortunately, that s where the help stopped. They were quick to inform me that they didn t carry it, they couldn t provide any insight on what to call it or even how to describe it, nor could they recommend anywhere else for me to look. When I followed up, clarifying that any insight at all from their perspective as furniture hardware experts would be valuable, their (again prompt) reply was we don t carry tray hardware. Great. Thanks.

Very, very helpful people and friendly.But they are expensive. Went to buy a snow shovel and cheapest was 20 dollars.

What a great place! We just moved here, I went in to have keys made and was given great service and a run down of everything they do there. The owner introduced himself while he checked me out and shook my hand. One stop shop. I will patronize their place for what I need. Small town business at its best!

I had to rent a mower and I am giving it two stars because I could rent one and for twenty dollars is a decent price but thats where the value ends. Staff was rude and a single woman. Was condesending. I asked how much the mower weighed and if me and my teenager could manage to unload it when we got it home? I got treated to a discussion on how much employees can lift. I don't need a "measuring up competition". The owner really needs to hire some new, helpful and professional types. I think the guys doing the " measuring" were "John" and Joey?

They have a good selection of pretty much anything you need they also do equipment rental Very affordable on renting a trailer for doing odd jobs. Knowledgeable staff

Great service, great people horribly high prices on much of the products here. Nuts and bolts are priced well, spray paint is priced well. Brushes, pet products, gutter repair kit, etc can be as much as double priced compared to Lowe's. I get my nuts and bolts here and stuff when I am in a rush otherwise I drive to Champaign or gibson without even looking. Tools are super high. I will be buying about 10 bays of hay in a few week, I will drive yo Rantoul for that. This parking lot could be packed. What a shame.
