In a world of corporate c*** and horrible customers service, this place is a breath of fresh air. not only do they do good work at reasonable rates, but they stand behind their work.They helped my son get his car back to get back to college on time. And when part ended up failing, they took care of it promptly and correctly. Highly recommend.

Skylark garage has fixed 2 of my vehicles so far and I refuse to let anyone else work on my cars. They are timely, reasonable, and do great work. It s hard to find a reputable mechanic but my search is over. A special thanks to Joe and all the guys at the garage for their hard work. I highly recommend this shop to anyone needing work done, they do it all.

Dependable, trustworthy and won t break the bank. Each time I ve gone here, the guys were able to see me quickly; they did a great job; and I didn t feel like I was being overcharged.

Best in the area. Use them for everything from oil to alternators for our cars. They even put the hitch receiver on my ascent for me, and saved me well over $100 over the dealership. Joe at Sky Lark is amazing. Honesty is something that is so important and that is Joe. He can also provide a loaner car at no charge! That is amazing. Joe has saved me a fortune over the last few years! My car has 205,000 miles on it. Joe is responsible for keeping it running and at so little cost. Thank you Joe!

Joe Milan with skylark garage is awesome.he and is staff are very pleasant and professional. What I love about this garage is there honesty and ethics. Getting vehicles fixed is all ready a pricey venture so it is reassuring to have someone working on that vehicle who you can trust and the work you are paying for needed to be done and truly was done. Joe at Skylark really goes the extra mile for his customers. He even has many of the local repair shops bring cars to him because he is so good at diagnostics. Your experience will leave you feeling good about your repairs and all work is guaranteed. No reason to look anywhere else since Joe will help your car stay safe and sound. Fair pricing and wonderful service-what more could you ask for?

I've been taking my truck to Joe Milam at Skylark for months now. I've had a few oil changes, new tires, tire sensor check among other minor fixes. He's always taken great care of my car and had amazing customer service. If you are looking for an honest and trustworthy mechanic...Skylark Garage is the place to go!

Very happy with the service level and honesty at Skylark. The dealership provided a laundry list of items they recommended fixing for thousands of dollars. Joe was able to identify the issues that really existed (at a much better price compared to dealership) and give us peace of mind before taking family on a long vacation road trip.

The service here is wonderful. The first day I tried them out it was very rainy and low and behold both my front and rear window wipers ripped that day! Joe took great care of me and was able to special order the wipers that day, and very quickly to get me on my way. Since then I have used them for multiple fixes on my car and have been very happy with all the service they provide!

Joe Milam and his staff at Skylark are all great! He s so friendly, easy to work with, and most of all, he knows his stuff. In addition to working on modern cars, he knows all about classic cars. Joe and his staff can get a classic car purring and working great. Anything you need from an oil change to a major overhaul, go to Skylark!

Not being from Park Ridge , I looked on Google for a well reviewed auto repair shop in Park Ridge and found Skylark Garage. My truck was making a clanging rattling sound. Skylark had good reviews so I took my truck for a checkup. I went to the shop and talked to the manager Joe and he put it up on the lift. He checked the cars engine, fluids and exhaust system. He found some clamps by the muffler that came loose and were rattling around. He secured new clamps and cut the old one's off. He came out and told me my truck was ready and didn't charge me a penny. I offered to pay and he said, "All I did was check it out and cut off a couple of clamps, don't worry about it you're good to go."Being new to the area, it's hard to know who to trust. Joe the mechanic in Park Ridge is a stand up guy. I've been back for an oil change since and if we have any engine trouble or a service engine soon light comes on it's good to know we have Joe to keep our cars safe and sound.Thanks,Brian Kasallis

My entire family has been going to Skylark for over 15 years. They are always nice, professional, and give you the best deal they can. I now live in Chicago, but still will take my car out to Park Ridge if I ever need anything done on it. Extremely trustworthy business.

Skylark Garage is always reliable for getting my car back into working condition in a timely fashion. Facility utilizes updated technology to keep up with all types of cars. Their staff is knowledgeable and friendly; would definitely recommend.

If you are going take a drive to see the fall colors, stop in first at Skylark Garage for a quick oil change and engine check. They will give your car a once over to make sure that you will be safe for your journey. There is nothing worse than being on the side of the road. Let Joe and his team check out your car so you can have the peace of mind that you will get there and back safely. I highly recommend Skylark Garage.

Cannot say enough about the service family, friends, and I have experienced at Skylark. Joe, Ted, and staff are really smart when it involves major work in addition to the normal oil change, etc. Have saved money as well as confident always in their expertise.

Not even deserving of 1 starI moved to Park Ridge from Atlanta, GA. about 3 months ago.. I knew it was going to be hard to find a trusted, kind & decent mechanic in Chicago after 22yrs of having one in Georgia. A week ago I got a nice welcome to the neighborhood package in my mailbox, in there was a coupon from Skylark Garage, inc. , which was just around the corner from me, I was so excited.. my car finally made it to Chicago yesterday & since it had not been driven for a few months, I decided to get it checked by a mechanic. I took it to Skylark and introduced myself, the guy in the office, behind a computer appeared very rude, to the point & was so bothered by me, without any words exchanged from him, he takes an invoice out, proceeds to write up a diagnostic summery.. at which point I asked him to stop writing & explain the process to me, he made no effort to do so,I was humiliated & I said NO I didn t need their services, to which he rudely almost yelling replied: ok, have a nice day ... I didn t get his name, but he had pierced ears & silver loop earrings on. It was a horrible experience.. oh wait Joe Milam was his name..

I came here because my passenger car tire was missing the cap - Joe and his crew gave me a replacement and filled up all my tires for free! Really appreciate the service here. Highly recommend!

I took my 2004 Honda CRV in for an evaluation. The lower ball joints were replaced, oil change, & tune-up. I received a loaner car and the car was ready by 2:00 pm. Knowledgeable, honest car service at a fair price.

Joe at Skylark showed me in detail why my wheel rod needed to be replaced, then checked three suppliers for the lowest price on the replacement part. Great customer service!
