My son leaves for a Bassmaster college bass fishing tourney in Kentucky Lake Friday. Trailering the boat to Geneva Lake this past Saturday the brakes start making noise. Called Monday morning and dropped boat on trailer off. Master hitch assured me they could special order the Bass Cat trailer parts and repair by Thursday.Needless to say, Masterhitch made the repair by Thursday, reducing my anxiety to nil, enabling my son to leave on time!Thank you to all who worked on my trailer. They are simply the best.Mac

We have had 2 trailer hitches installed by master hitch in Palatine. I like how they use no show hitches and include a cover. I will continue to use this company for my hitch needs. A bonus is there's a neighborhood behind the shop you can walk while your hitch is installed. Thanks

Spectacular! Tom is the owner (I think) and there's Scott behind the counter. Both great guys! SUPER KNOWLEDGEABLE. I brought in my BMW X5 for a hitch installation and they had me taken care of in less than 2 hours and Tom walked me outside for a full wiring demonstration. Definitely would come back. Thanks guys

I went here to get a Draw-Tite hitch on my GTI (for a bike rack), and I couldn't be happier with the service. Honestly, the hitch looks like it came from the factory. The ordering process was easy, the install process was fast, and the price was great. I would absolutely return here to get a hitch put on another car.

Great turn around time to set appointment, liked the first come first served on given appointment day. Avoids delays due to no shows, late customers, and allows technicians not to have to rush.Zack did a great job with install.

Incredible work! Had a boat trailer that had sections that were rusted to the point of being unsafe. Ryan at Master Hitch Palatine said he'd take a look at it. Showed him the trailer and he agreed to take on the project. We got a drop-off date scheduled (small parking lot so it made sense to only drop it off when they could work on it). They got it done in two days, looks/works great, and he went above and beyond what was expected. Not only did they replace the sections that needed replacing, they also painted the new section, and replaced the broken lights!

Fair quote and quick service. I called for a quote and they gave me one in the phone. Reserved the part for me so it was there when needed. Hitch was installed while I waited. I would feel comfortable using them again if needed.

Fantastic place. Family owned and run. They are honest and hard working. Treated me fantastically. I got a hitch and bike rack installed on my BMW 328. Not the easiest car to work on. Took just over an hour. Great price and service for both the hitch and Thule bike rack. Thank you Master Hitch team. I will highly recommend you to everyone!

Brought my car and my mom s car here to get a hitch put on. We both had a wonderful experience over the phone and in person when dropping off our cars.I was able to get a next day appointment, and it only took 1.5 hours for them to get the work done! Hitch works great, and had a very pleasant experience.100% would recommend to anyone in the area who needs a hitch

This place is great, I called to install my hitch and I had an emergency that I have to go out of state by the end of the day and had to have a hitch installed immediately, I called and talked to the owner (I forgot to ask him about his name) and he promised that he will get the hitch installed as soon as I arrive to his shop, when I arrived he immediately asked his employees to grab my SUV and start installing my hitch, I waited a little bit (less than an hour) and it was done, he really saved me from being in trouble, I can t me grateful enough, thank you so much owner, I really appreciate your kindness and the great experience that I had at your shop.

Very satisfied with the whole experience on having a hitch installed on a 2003 Matrix that had rusted and or stripped weld nuts and also on the wiring harness installation. I waited for what seemed like a couple of hours but that is to be expected when a shop does honest work and is filled with customers also wanting to have work done on their vehicles. I cancelled an appointment with another big place because after taking to them over the phone I did not feel confident that they would be able to install the hitch properly because of the rusted and stripped weld nuts under the frame. Here are some of the positives- great customer serviceTreat everyone with the same great customer service regardless of who they arePrioritize customers who are physically there in line over callsExplain the work that was done and provide additional information that will help the customer on their equipment for example weight limits on a hitch and how to connect the wiring harness.- excellent resultsFrom the initial phone call where I could tell that they knew what they were taking about and delivering exactly on what they committed to delivering.Great work on the hitch and used it for a carrier recently and it s very solid.- priceFair and competitive with amajor national installer- honestAll the way around. I was there waiting for a couple of hours and know that they have 100% integrity, honesty, and have pride in their work.I would recommend them to anyone that needs to have hitch related work done and would return if I need additional work done. We had a fifth wheel installed on our pick up in less than 30 minutes! Tom was great. Very friendly and fair prices. Family owned business. Definitely recommend them.

I had them replace the axle on a Scamp trailer and install a hitch on a Jeep. They were nice to deal with, upfront with cost and finished on time. This is an excellent business to deal with

These guys are great! I've had them install 5 hitches over the years. Best price, know what they're talking about and no job too tough for them. They just made a custom axle for my trailer - I could only find one other place (anywhere) that could even do it, and Master Hitch did it quickly and for less than the other guys. I go more than 25 miles now to use them - wouldn't go anywhere else.

Did good work! Went in and had a few questions. Staff was extremely knowledgeable. The prices were extremely fair! Got the hitch installed and a bike rack. Don t think I could have found the bike rack any cheaper online!

Installed a Curt trailer hitch with wiring on my 2018 BMW x5 diesel. Looks factory. Amazing job, thank you. Also a bonus, it was 1600 less then what several dealers had quoted .Highly recommend!

As advertised and according to quote. Absolutely great experience getting the correct hitch and wiring installed correctly and as a bonus, in under an hour. I'm sure timing was everything, so it should of been longer, but well worth the trip and possibly a couple hours wait. Very knowledgeable, nice, staff and very decent price as well. Couldn't be more pleased.

Agreed on price for a dual path airlift. After install, I was informed they installed the wrong system. So the made it "work" with what they had. I had to come back for a reinstall for the proper system. Tom with outgoing personality charged me $50 for his mistake. Later it stops connecting to the manifold. Tech said 1 out of 10 go bad. He did not want to replace the unit until it disconnected again. Between attitude, and service there is no way I would refer anyone here. So it will be 4 trips and it still doesn't work.

Ive been multi-year customer, with over a dozen repairs and installations from these guys. If you are searching for a knowledgeable, patient, and down right talented staff to weld/install accessory's on ANY vehicle, look no further!!Did I mention, they have always been prompt, communicate well, and offer great prices?Master Hitch has helped our business immensely.

Fantastic staff, fast service, and just an excellent place.I recently purchased a hitch and bike rack for my SUV. Every single person there was friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. They actually spent time to carefully review what I needed and helped me to understand all the different possibilities that were available to me, in order to help me chose what would work best. Then, after installation, they actually spent more time to show me how the rack connected to the hitch and how every component of it functioned.I will definitely be returning with any needs I have in the future.

We have been using Master Hitch for years and I'm not sure why I have never thought to leave them a review. So hear it is, a little late! These guys really know their stuff and are straight shooters. We use trailers and hitch mounted racks in our business and they have always given us great advice and service. I wouldn't even think about using another company.What I really like is they have always been willing to help us with small projects like repairing a weld or reinforcing a piece of equipment - they always find a solution! They are often very busy but they will try to squeeze you in if they can and their pricing is always fair. There is no other place for your hitch or trailer needs...Mark, Emerald Lawn Care

Return customer I am and sure to keep coming back too! Scott and team are very knowledgeable and do excellent work at very reasonable prices. They offer very sound advice and when I leave I am educated on how to use the equipment they installed. Hitch, weight distribution, sway control bar, air shocks, brake controller etc!
