My condo renovation project included trying to refurbish a loved breakfast table and chairs. They needed a brand new facelift but I was concerned about painting these iron pieces because the original finish didn t wear well. Traditional furniture painters left me worrying about the same thing happening again. To this purpose I decided to try a new tack and go to someone with experience in making a paint job last ..a car/motorcycle guy. That is how I found Mark at FSCC in Palatine. His website showed photos of patio furniture so I thought I d give him a call. He was gracious, and said he hadn t done inside work, but why not? The same principles apply. I took a trip to his shop with one of the chairs and chose a paint color and texture and I am so pleased with how beautiful this set looks ..better than when it was first purchased! Thank you Mark for patiently waiting until my timing was right, staying within the quote and being in every way being accommodating to my schedule.

Great pricing with great service. No bull here. Finished products always come out perfect. They coated all of my car parts. This is one of those rare businesses that you keep in your contacts for all future powder coating and ceramic coating needs. So glad I found this place.

We are redoing the flooring in our house and decided we needed to have our existing wrought iron handrails refinished before the flooring went down (bad beige color and chipped paint). I brought the pieces in and and Mark and his guys cut out some unwanted scroll work, sandblasted, and powder coated the railings for us.So glad we came to Fresh Start. The color and finish is awesome, good pricing, and the job was finished sooner than expected. The most painful part of the experience was the three trips it took before my wife and I could decide on the right color. We would definitely recommend Fresh Start to anyone who needs this kind of work done. Good job, guys.

Fresh Coat refinished our 15+ year old patio set and the results are spectacular. They handled some minor repairs and restored the set to better than new. Very easy to work with, fast turnaround (two weeks!), and helpful delivery. This was a great experience overall and looking forward to using our revived patio set this summer!

Brought in some parts for a high end restoration I am doing. I was happy to pick from the many color samples on display. Mark was very receptive to the requests I had and how I wanted the parts coated and all of them were fulfilled. Turnaround was quick, pricing was good, and the results were incredible. Will be using him again!

I had Mark do a few parts for for two different car and everything came out excellent and the price was very fair as well. I would not hesitate to use Mark for any future projects.

Great experience and very impressed with the work done by Mark and his team. My vehicle rims had been previously coated with a poor quality spray coating. Mark came in on a Sunday so I could drop my vehicle off, and did an amazing job removing the previous coating and redoing the rims. Definitely would recommend Fresh Start for any powder coating job, great to work with and I couldn't have asked for better results.

Brought an old fire alarm box and pedestal to Mark and his team at Fresh Start Custom Coatings for blasting and powder coating. Their craftsmanship is fantastic, take pride in their work, responsive, customer friendly and are reasonably priced. Thanks for bringing this piece of fire department history back to life! I highly recommend Fresh Start Custom Coatings and look forward to doing business with them again in the future.

Fresh Start is absolutely a great place to deal with!! Had my bicycle re-coated and Mark and the crew at the shop were more than helpful with helping me pick a color combination for my bike. The price was more than fair and i got in back faster then they said it would be done. Cant wait to get my wheels done on my race car this spring!!!

Very happy with finish. Powder coating is not just for the outer fork tubes on your chopper. They refinished an expensive piece of cast aluminum outdoor furniture for me. It's way better than the original finish. Paid price matched the estimate. I will bring more business to them for my motorcycle... or patio needs :)

I rarely write reviews BUT, after trying out other companies, I need to share my experience with FSCC. Those of you out there in search of powder coating, ceramic coating and/or media blasting . This is where your search ends! I have had multiple parts blasted and coated in the past four years by FSCC and they (FSCC & my parts) are phenomenal!!! Mark is friendly, knowledgeable and patient. Pricing, customer service and their attention to detail is outstanding!!!

Great quality work at a phenomenal price. I had Mark do a high temp coating on a Ferrari exhaust. The job was done perfectly and in a timely manner. Great job!

I Had some Haas CNC Machine Panels in need of recoating...These guys worked quick, were communicative(they called when they had questions about the project), and did a great job!! Colors matched perfect, I believe they worked with the OEM mfg! Working on project 2 now and looking forward to get more done after that...photos to come..
