I think Daniel, the store manager and his team did a fabulous job on both of my cars. I would definitely come back again and have them do work well upkeep place also very clean.

Much praise for Dan, my Service Advisor. He is very knowledgeable about the car and auto servicing and maintenance (both generally and specifically). I had a lot of questions and he answered all of them expertly (and patiently!). He shared my sensitivity to the cost of the repairs and tried to present me with the best and most cost-effective solution. This is the second car I have brought to Firestone in Palatine. Dan also advised on the first car. I would give a score of 10 but auto servicing is always expensive and painful. Notwithstanding that, Dan was great!

I was told about a rebate on a full synthic oil change at the begining of the service when discussing the oil change, however I was never given a form for the rebate nor was it discussed again at the end of the service. when talking me into the oil change and using a rebate as a reason to complete the oil change, then the service tech should make sure the rebate is offered at the end of the service.

The technicians who helped me were amazing! So helpful & right to the point! Patched my tire & told me where to go to find the exact new tire I needed! So I have now ordered the tire & will have Firestone install it this week!

Scheduled an appointment for tire change at 10am. When I left the car I was told it will take less than an hour and will receive a phone call. After 2,5 hours I tried calling and they are telling me to reschedule as they are not done. On top they damaged my caps on the wheels. Wasted my time and leaving not happy. I should have read reviews prior scheduling an appointment.

Scheduled an appointment to get wheel alignment, brought the vehicle in, few hours later received a phone call that only dealer can do this alignmentFalse, went to local shop, got the alignment done. Stay away from this place, complete waste of time

Not exactly content with the best they can do results coming from ASE certified and highly experienced techs considering my car has completely adjustable front and rear suspension including camber and toe. This is the second time since I paid for the premium unlimited package and assumed they would get it right. I m also very confused as to why this is the only location that will road test drive before the alignment even after I said no. They wouldn t do the alignment otherwise. I ll be looking for a refund & elsewhere to correct this properly. At least the car rolls straight and the dash light is off for now.EDITED: after an hour of use, my car now has multiple new codes aside from my O2 sensor. This comes from them admitting they had to attempt three times messing with my computer to clear just the clock spring SAS code. It appears whatever they did caused issues to my ECU

Apparently they plugged my transmission vent, caused leaking and a bunch of other problems I needed to get repaired somewhere else. Don't really recommend this place since it seems like they take dangerous shortcuts.

Firestone Employees are friendly and they will explain to you anything that's really wrong with your car. I trust them with my cars, they do brakes, oil change, tire rotation. Check out this shop you won't regret it.

I never cease to be impressed with Firestone. Chris is outstanding and provided clear, quick information on my vehicle despite it being towed to them on such short notice. I ve been to maybe five Firestones in the Chicagoland area in the past 10 years, and all of them have been trustworthy. I ll continue to recommend them to my friends and family, that s how much I trust their service.

Dan from up front is honorable, virtuous, and looks out for you as an individual. I came to Firestone under the directive of another mechanic shop to get my brake fluids flushed. Dan tested my fluid first and told me that it was actually almost brand new fluid, no need to change right now. THIS IS WHAT WE NEED AS A COMMUNITY. We need to support people being good people. Go to Firestone to be treated like a friend. I m referring everyone I know to this location. Again, Dan specifically is awesome.

Guy turns me away for being a bit late saying he's not gonna take me and delay his next appointment even tho an oil change takes 20 min and his next appointment is 40 min later. Then tells me he's backed up and when I leave I see him and another worker go outside for a smoke. If he truly was backed up him and the other guy would be playing catch up not going for a smoke. Also no one was waiting for a vehicle or anything.Service: Oil change

Dropped off the car for an alignment and picked up with damage. Dent and paint crack. And of course they said that they cannot do anything. Just stay away from this place it s not worth it. You damage someone s property at least apologize and do something but the manager didn t even said sorry he just said we can t do anything

Great place to have RAM trucks and GMC suv's serviced. I've been going to Firestone for years and never had issues with service or the staff. Staff is friendly and up front with you before fixing any "major" issues without your consent. Service repairs are high quality and top notch so you don't have to go back for the same issue twice. With their credit card option, you have 6months no interest...how can you go wrong here.

My typical experience with Firestone from across the country has never really been great. In fact some Firestone stories in my life were down right just wrong. Chris has helped us about 5 times now. Every time it s clear he goes above and beyond with genuine /authentic care and knowledge of what he does for a living. This is the only Firestone I will go to on a go forward. Dan was great on the phone as well. I now have had 2 different interactions where they said you honestly can hold off on this and didn t come up with some shady way to charge me for something. Thanks gentlemen.

Poor customer service. Old guy is rude and acts like a see you next Tuesday.I wanted to add on to this. I had a feeling the guy was lying to me when he said my tire was not able to be patched. Today I got my tire patched at a different Firestone location. This location is in gurnee. Much friendlier and they don t try to sell you a new tire without assessing the situation. Don t let these pros tell you! It s a tire. Not rocket science

First of all, the customer service here is excellent. They gave me a free ride when my car was being worked on, and the online appointment setting is easy and convenient. They are very friendly and helpful, especially one of the girls, I think Sue. I've been here 3 or so times for new tires, battery, inspection, and oil changes. However, I do not know a lot about cars. After one inspection they give me a print-out recommending $1,200 worth of repairs. I wasn't even having problems with the car in the first place. That was over a year ago, and my car's been fine since. I will get oil changes here, but anything else I'm getting a second opinion.

I made an appointment online at Firestone, drove all the way there, and then was told I didn t have an appointment. I showed the employee my confirmation number. I was in the correct place at the correct time but he still told me that they didn t have time to change my tires. I didn t even get an apology for what was clearly their mistake.So, I took my business down the street to Midas, where they actually value my time. They re changing my tires now - I didn t even need an appointment...Moral of the story: Forget Firestone. Go to their more convenient/customer friendly competitors instead.

Called and made an appointment to get my AC checked at 10am for the following day. Get there at 9.30am and was informed that my appointment was for 7am and there's nothing they can do. Dan was extremely rude and had an attitude since I walked in. Its unfortunate that the front guys have their heads up their a$$ because the techs in back are trustworthy. I wouldn't go here again just because of Dan. Not my fault he hates his life, but don't take it out on the customers. I'll take my business elsewhere.

I returned to this store after having used them to align my previous car.Manny and the Alignment technician were able to diagnose a worn(but not blown) ball joint and bushing in my Audi S6. They saved me time by letting me know prior to attempting an alignment, and I was actually able to get them replaced under Audi warranty because of their knowledge. I will definitely be back to them for an alignment soon.THEY EVEN HAVE AN IN GROUND RACK.

Great experience, Jordan here had helped me with several of my vehicles and even some friends and family. Very professional, courteous, and overall trustworthy when it came time to bring a few necessary repairs to my attention. I didn't wait any longer then promised, also loved the showroom is well lit creating a clean environment. I would recommend them especially Jordan to anybody seeking automotive repairs or advice.

I scheduled an online appointment to change the oil and have received email with a confirmation. After few hours I was about to leave for my appointment when I decide to give them a call just in case. A gentleman on the phone let me know that apparently the time has already been booked for someone else and offered to reschedule during the week. I wish they had let me know in advance so I could have plan my day better. Do not rely on their scheduling system. I am glad I decided to call.

I would like to commend the store manager, Bob Dickens for doing a fantastic job in making sure my car was ready for our long road trip. Not only did Bob give me a great deal on tires, he also gave me a great deal on brakes and a few other items my car was in need of.The service was great, the price was more than fair...compared to the dealership. It was a real pleasure dealing with him and I will certainly take my car back.

I've been servicing my car with Firestone for close to 10 years and have never had a poor experience until now. This was my first and last time at the Palatine location. Augustine is the store manager and is not qualified in any way.First of all there is no one manning the lobby and taking in customers. It took close to five minutes for Augistine to come out and acknowledge me and another customer. When he finally took my car in I told him that I would wait in store. An hour and a half later he came out to tell me that I need a coolant flush and break fluid. It took another hour and a half for him to come out and tell me that I need new brakes. I asked him how much longer and he told me 45 minutes. By this point it was noon and i had been there since 9AM. So I went across the street to get some food. Came back two hours later and my car was still inside the shop.Poor Joshua had to deal with me after that and kindly offered $15 off the coolant service. He's been with the company for eight years and deserves to run a store over the dingbat they call Augustine.For my next oil change I'm driving 45 minutes to Algonquin, where they have their act together.

There 30 year vet I believe Paul saved my life literally. Had a front bad wheel bearing that another shop missed. He brought this to my attention and a few days later decided to replace it while jacking up car tire fell off. Not a good thing to happen at 70mph on rand rd.

Recently I had new brakes and rotors installed. Now, prior to setting up the appointment, I called different shops, only to be quoted $100-200 more than what firestone had quoted me. After the 5th estimate, the choice was obviously clear. I spoke to Jordan, who was very kind and courteous. He answered all of my questions and explained things thoroughly. Overall, I am very happy and satisfied with the service that I received. I will continue to have my vehicle serviced at this location for years to come.Also, a special thanks to Jordan for being honest and providing an excellent customer experience.
