These guys are unbelievable! I love a local shop that takes care of the local people!I'm a frequent flyer because my Jeep always requires some extra special attention, they fix it fast, and if something else comes up, they fix their oversights! Miguel is also an amazing person, and I'm happy that his face is always behind the desk. He's attentive and very kind!

I just got my engine cap resealed here, and I must say I was extremely satisfied with the service. Miguel, the manager of the place, was the perfect combination of professional yet personable. He talked me through their entire diagnostic and didn t try to upsale like any Jiffy Lube across the Chicagoland area. Service was done in a timely manner with a very reasonable price, strongly recommend this place and The Dukes of Oil right next to it, both are very honest and quality services on your car.

My cousins car had a coolant leak on the side of his engine prior to bringing the car in. I spent over 12 hours two days prior trying to figure out where the coolant leak came from I had no luck so we decided to take it into the shop. We take it in for a coolant leak repair into Autofix and come to find out bad move. The car had to stay in the shop for two days they claimed to have replace a hose or fix a hose since it was leaking on the bottom of the radiator. They also performed a pressure test so they said. My cousin left the shop and called me back to tell me that it was leaking again. I decided to take matters into my own hands call a friend and we completely found the coolant leak at the water pump. I put a new pump on saving him a lot of time and more money. We went back to the shop today and spoke with a manager who seemed to disagree with there ever being a leak from the side of the engine while I know for a fact before we even brought the car in it was leaking from the side. He refused to refund us and also in the notes of the order. Placed new engine oil on-top of old engine oil. 1. From my understanding you do not do a pressure test and not find the leak. 2. You do not put new engine oil on top of old oil. 3. In the end me and my friend fixed the leak and other issues with the car at the same time. I did end up calling corporate and asking for a refund since management did not want to say they did wrong and refund us. I do not recommend this place for the simplest jobs.Here is a picture after we left the shop and the water pump me and my friend replaced that fixed the issue.

Great customer service and they helped me narrow down which repairs to take care of as soon as possible and which could wait. They also have some coupons on their website to help bring down the cost a bit.

I get my oil changed at The Duke and am always happy with the work there, so I went next store for some repairs. The team got me in as soon as possible. Even while being a little understaffed. They talked through the issues going on under the hood and worked with me to figure out the right game plan, in the same way a friend would have. They do good work and put a lot of care into the services they provide.They are always my go-to for car issues and maintenance.

Went in for an oil change and tire rotation, was called back in 10min stating a front head light was out. An obvious safety issue...besides that, the oil change as well as the tire rotation (at no cost) was done within 45mins or so. Super quick and safety conscious.I could not do the work myself for the price given.very fair pricing...highly recommended!!Service: Oil change

My car engine was overheating and I was 12 miles from home. I pulled in here and they were so kind and helpful. They were able to fill the coolant and make sure there was no major leaks. I was able to drive to a place closer to home. They charged me nothing. Thank you so much

If i could leave a ZERO , I would ! I do not recommend this place at all if you need a major repair . I went to them back in October about my heat . They replaced my two left blend door actuators and that did not fixed the problem . I still got change about 500 dollars even though my issue was not fixed! Then I went back and they flushed out the coolant system for ANOTHER 100 dollars . Still did not fix the problem . I took my car just recently to another shop just for they to tell me that the parts autofix fixed was not working . I brought my car back to autofix because i have a warranty and now they are trying to tell me that those two that the other shop said was working is working instead of just replacing them . After this , i am done with this place and will not be going back ever again ! I DO NOT RECOMMEND because they continue to lie and don t get the issue fixed!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Repair facilities are all over the neighborhood, although, finding one you can trust isn't all that easy. These guys diagnosed the issues with my vehicle, ordered parts and repaired in an extremely timely manner. Kept me posted throughout the process and I feel was a great value. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and everyone.

My cigar lighter receptacle (power outlet) stopped working so I called the dealership to see what the problem could be. They told me they could take a look at it for $120 and let me know. I then called Duke of Oil/Auto Fix and they told me they could probably fix it in a half hour for $55. I went there the next morning and after about 10-15 minutes, they had diagnosed the problem as two blown fuses, replaced the fuses, and told me the cost was FREE since it was an easy fix. Very nice people. Much appreciated.

We won t take our cars anywhere else! Our experience with Autofix started 10 years ago when we took our car in to a large chain repair place and they quoted us a thousand dollars. We decided to have Autofix give us a 2nd opinion and we even disclosed that our first quote was thousand dollars. They came back quoting $500 and explained to us that the other place was going to put in Honda parts and that if we didn t care about having the Honda parts (and they didn t recommend that we needed them), we could save $500. Because of their honesty and transparency, weve trusted them ever since. And in the last six months, we ve done some major repairs on our car and they have been done well, at a decent price and they have accommodated our schedule. We ve moved farther south now and still drive up to them to have our work done! Great place, great people!

This Place Is A RIP OFFFFFFFFF. Never go there. I work for the Better part of the day and neeed to drop off my car and pick it up later. I took in a car for a knock sensor and o2 sensor to be fixed. They over charged for minimal service. Got mad when i had to go to work and would pick up and pay for the work after completed. They agreed on 200$. Then refused to give my car back if i did not pay 800$ for "labor cost". Lets be clear they did not work for 7 hours. and if they were that stupid they need to be out of business. Shud have been done with in a hour. Took all day. NEVER GO THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I

Pete knows that I want to try to keep my civic for another 150 miles. I totally trust him to help me do that but to tell me when it is not worth it. Every one there is very helpful. Their hours and location are great. Thanks Pete!

I use to bring my car to AutoFix all the time that used to be a very quality company. This last month I brought my car to be fixed on two different occasions and have received my car in worse shape than when I first brought it. They deny doing more damage they re very evasive they try to blame everything on the customer and they refused to hear what the customer has to say and they refused to help the customer! This place has gone downhill I will never go here again I do not recommend this place!!! If I could give zero stars I would!

The first time I went to this shop I was impressed. Had brakes done. Nice job, I gave 5 stars on another review site from the link I was sent in an e-mail after my visit. The last time I had service don it was for brakes and a headlight issue. Brakes were done by Juan. Nice job again. The problem has arisen with the headlight. Juan did not know what he was doing. the manager Dirk says Juan hates doing things he is not used to. Made me uncomfortable, and then he said he is (Juan) easily aggravated because he is buying his first house. Juan was texting and not really paying attention. Turns out he broke the bulb that was in there, had them replace ballast, and he broke off the lock tabs on the igniter. Dirk says it is not his problem. I had to order a new one because of this. I am having a problem with the light still, I went back yesterday to talk with dirk, the problem is close to being fixed, I asked Juan if he could answer a question, he ran and hid after telling me he would not work on my car sir. Really? I was fooled the first time. Dirk seems like a stand up guy but the true colors came out when he told me it is not his problem after your mechanic broke the part. Shamefull. It hurts me to write this as I was really happy after my first visit. I guess I have been blacklisted by your mechanic Juan. I would not want him chasing my customers away. Oh and the invite for another review from that e-mail has vanished. I had it saved and it is gone. LOL...

My family and I were in trouble with a broken a/c in our jeep. Being a weekend no one wanted to help us, but the manager Rich at Auto Fix got us in and taken care of fast and with the best customer service. I plan to return for any vehicle needs in the future.

If I can give zero Stars I would I came in for an oil change and one of the employees left a rag under my hood that got caught up in my alternator and broke it. I contacted the shop they told me they use their tow company and that it would be covered now I'm here trying to pick up my car and he's hitting me with a fee saying it was not their fault. Very unprofessional. The manager is blaming it on miscommunication seems to me he thought he could get over on a kid for a few hundred dollars

Fair prices, excellent and helpful staff! They don't try to upsell you like Jiffy Lube does, and they will only fix what needs to be fixed, instead of trying to create a problem for more money. Al is my favorite! I recommend AutoFix to anyone that needs any kind of repairs!

My 1 star is based solely on a quote for a strut replacement. No work was actually done so my star doesn't apply to their ability to get the job done. I was told I have to do both front struts even though it's just 1 that is bad - fine whatever but the cost of $907 that I was quoted is crazy. I went and bought the parts myself and found an ASE certified mechanic who did the job all for under $400 (this includes labor and parts).. pure high way robbery you guys tried it and I will never return.

They got me back on the road for less than any other repair shop I have seen in my 30 years of maintaining Volkswagens, Volvos, Subaru's and Hondas. Usually there are good shops, and inexpensive shops, rarely both, these guys are. Highly recommended.

Saw a piece of metal in my tire. Afraid to pull it out and tire go flat, I rushed there to get it patched or replaced. 2 mins pass and he comes in with the piece and said it wasn't in deep. No charge and sent me on my way. They had the opportunity to charge me for whatever and they charged me nothing. TRUSTWORTHY!
