The best body shop in Palatine! Originally got work done on my Subaru back around May of 2020 after a little fender bender. Carlos and his crew were super helpful and informative of any potential discoloration between body panels. Fast forward three years later, and the paint and craftsmanship is still holding up with no chipping. I highly recommend Auto Collision Rebuilders whether its from an accident or needing a respray.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Long & overdue review, but definitely needed! I went in November to have some damage repaired on my Chrysler 200 through my insurance. It ended up being more like my entire bumper had to be replaced, but Carlos & team did a great job on my baby. He did a great job walking me through the process (me: knowing 0 about cars) and when I picked up he also thoroughly explained what was done...I could even see my old bumper on the side of the garage with the damage. They definitely go the extra mile, as my car is a specific paint - which they had to reorder to get it to match perfectly. With working from home, I'd completely forgotten about the appointment at 5pm and Carlos was nice enough to wait for me while I walked over to the shop & I'm pretty sure they cleaned my car! Awesome, awesome job! Smooth process, knowledgeable, honest, Spanish speaking ability, great people and a local shop! The process seems like talking to a family friend vs. a shop! Highly recommend for your car needs!

Carlos did a great job on a front end collision. His work on the car is fantastic and the in house paint job matches OEM perfectly which I was initially worried about. He also dealt with my insurance for weeks which was a constant issue for us. I respect his patience and that he didn't sacrifice quality because of the insurance issues. These guys are above and beyond the ordinary collision repair shop! They treat you like family besides doing a great job on your repairs. Our car looks and runs better than it ever did. Fast and courteous service is the norm here. They even helped us out with some non related issues we had months after completing the repairs. We highly recommend ACR for any of your cars needs! I was hit in the read end of my vehicle by a taxi. It was not my fault and after much back & forth on the phone with my insurance agent and claims department we were trying to finalize what they will cover to be fixed. Carlos went ABOVE & BEYOND to make sure step by step my vehicle was fixed correctly. It also had to be taken to a dealership for diagnostics test because the report did not state that my suspension got damaged from accident. He kept me informed step by step thru text the entire time. If only more people existed like him with this type of service. I would HIGHLY recommend Auto Collision and Carlos himself!!!!! Services: Steering & suspension repair, Painting, Body & Trim

Due to getting in a car accident, I was looking for a body shop for repair, started Googling and looking up reviews and settled on bringing my car in to Auto Collision. Their customer service is outstanding; very professional, knowledgeable, empathetic to your needs, and Juan was great with explaining details and very nice/kind. Upon pick up of my car, they did a great job with the repair, informed me that they're still waiting on molding (the only part on back order), and assured me that it should be in within a couple of weeks and they'll place it on for me right away. Overall, I am very pleased with their awesome service, if you need a body shop, please use this one, you will not regret your decision.Service: Body & Trim

My VW had a door dent fixed in 2017. The same door repair started to crack and delaminate in 2023. They checked it out , said it was under warranty, and would fix it no charge. True to their word. They fixed the rear life gate and bumper on our Tucson. They had earlier availability than other shops, took care of all the State Farm details, GREAT communication keeping us updated with the progress, and the end result is as good as new. Can't ask for more than that so we'd definitely recommend them and will use them again in the future if needed.Service: Body & Trim

Had my car in for repairs twice in one year. The first time they matched the paint perfectly and had us fixed up in 24 hours. The second time they fixed my car door for free. My experience working with Auto Collision Rebuilders was extremely positive. The staff is courteous, friendly and professional. My repair estate was explained to me in detail, the repair work was performed to high quality standards and my car was ready on the day it was promised. They even helped me set up a rental car during the time the work was being performed on the vehicle.The owner Carlos followed up with me to ensure I was satisfied with the work and to make sure all my questions were answered. They are beyond phenomenal!!! Always doing over and beyond the expectations. The body work is restored to perfection! My car was in there shop a few times from accidents by other people and they work very fast and make the trim paint completely to match as it was before. I highly recommend them as your go to body shop . He s surely the go to place for me. You can expect a 100 percent satisfaction guarantee from the work they do. Amazing work done at this place!! Carlos and his team are so efficient that my car was ready when they said it would be and my car look like new when I picked it up. Carlos was so helpful with my insurance and definitely felt comfortable leaving my car for repair at ACR. I definitely recommend this place over any other of the big name shops. Well worth it!!

Auto Collision Rebuilders is by far the best auto body shop i have ever been to. Carlos and his technicians are amazing at what they do. Carlos takes the time to walk you through the entire process and will answer any questions you have. He keeps you up to date on the progress of your repairs and when your vehicle will be completed. Super friendly and gives honest advice. The technician and painter did an amazing job at making my vehicle look brand new. I will never go to any other body shop, and i refer all my family and friends to Carlos at Auto Collision Rebuilders! (I don t even live in the area anymore, and I still will make the drive to ACR!) Many thanks to Carlos and his crew for an awesome job! I used ACR several weeks ago to repair damage to my car when I got rear ended. ACR did a great job and my car looks like it was never involved in an accident. Carlos called back within minutes of me filling out their online form and accommodated my need for a Saturday appointment for an estimate. They started working on my car within a couple of days. Carlos kept me informed throughout the whole process and did all the work with the insurance company. I discovered Auto Collision Rebuilders through the State Farm Select Service program and chose it based on proximity to my residence and the reviews here on Google. Cassandre was courteous and very knowledgeable about writing the estimate and thoroughly answering my questions. They were also willing to work with me and my very unpredictable work schedule to deliver my car and start the work. When completed, the quality of work was excellent and completed a day sooner than I had anticipated. I have much appreciation to owner Carlos and his team for a job well done. I highly recommend this business.

I was in an accident that decimated the front driver s side of my Nissan Rogue. I m sure it was a lot worse than what they usually see here, but Carlos was transparent in explaining the estimate he gave me. He went above and beyond to wait with me almost an hour! as we tried to contact my insurance company. My repair was delayed by over a week because of communication problems with the insurance company but both Carlos and Rebecca, the receptionist, were very reassuring and patient whenever I called. Rebecca even went out to look for my tire replacement! The service was excellent. Fantastic experience not once, but twice! Carlos is highly professional and a meticulous perfectionist. He and his skilled team repaired our teen s Mazda CX-5 after a minor fender bender. We went back for some highly detailed work on my husband s Porsche Panamera. Both cars left the shop looking *brand new*! Do not hesitate to bring your vehicles here. Most impressed with Auto Collision Rebuilders. Working through State Farm Ins. they are near my home . the Intake process was clear and accurate . the scheduling was easy and the end result was on spot . The communication along the process we excellent as they uses mobile text updates . I was also able to coordinate an Enterprise pick up and drop off there .
