You have to teach your store employees to be at least a little bit more polite. I purchased an engine oil and filter bundle from the Mt.Prospect location, and they gave me the wrong oil filter. I went to this store for replacement. The guy with a beard who was there at 12 pm. on Sat, August 5th, was refusing to replace my filter, asking me tons of questions - why I bought it from Mt. Prospect, why I'm returning it here, maybe we don't have one right now and what not.It doesn't matter where I bought it from and where I'm returning it back or replacing it. That's the same store! Extremely rude attitude! I won't step in this store anymore!

The manager/front counter person ( ? ) he had a beard, could not have been more rude. Asked to purchase a new battery and he said it would be more than 30 minutes so he could not do it today. I was the only customer in the place at 8:20 am Sept. 14th 2023. I said I could wait longer and he replied cannot help you. I was completely shocked and thats hard to do to me. He was completely unwilling to help and did not say come back tomorrow or anything. End of story. ZERO STARS !

Just had a very pleasant experience. My car needed a new battery. Andrew helped me replace my very damaged old battery to a new one. He was fast and efficient. I m so thankful. Highly recommend. Will be coming back for future car problems.

This store is absolutely disgusting. I went to pick up a UPS package at the store and the store employee said the address on my ID is different than the shipping address and was behaving pretty rude to me. I recently spoke to a UPS customer service agent and she said the NAME ON THE ID IS ENOUGH TO VERIFY the receiver. Even the UPS access points don'have such policies she was bragging about. I had to go back to my place to get a proof of address to take my package. I felt like she did that intentionally and is probably a racist.Store employee is a white lady with tattos on her neck and she is not kind to likes of me. Worst experience ever.

I purchased a battery here. The shop price is $10 more expensive than the online price. But I had to replace the battery then, so I just paid it without argument.

This Auto part is the worst I ever buy part.I definitely not recommend .If the part it does not feet your car ,they do not give refund the manager has a horrible personality.This auto part does not deserve the name Advance auto part.Again I had horrible experienceDo not shop here.

Awesome service! I went to the store to buy a car battery, after having to jump start my sisters car that morning, instead of taking the easy sale, the representative offered to check/test the battery to see if the cables and post connectors just needed a good cleaning to bring battery back, so I wouldnt need a new one right away. He cleaned the build up of acid leak that gathered around the connectors and then hook up the tester, which confirmed the battery was not at the right amp level and was going bad. I ask him if he could get me a price on similar type battery with installation cheaper than the quote I got prior from the neighboring NTB...Got my new battery installed for 30 dollars cheaper and an additional 10 bucks off their competitors price. Representative very friendly and did not talk down to us women, as he replaced the battery he engaged in good informative chat about the car because he had the same make. During our chat we found out Dan, was his name and he was the store manager. So hats off to Dan for providing the best customer service , I think he went above and beyond...his attitude and service was more about the customer, than just making a sale, seemingly unheard of these days. He'll always get my business and my recommendation to others for auto parts.THANKS DAVE!!!

My wife recently visited. They were not welcoming at all. I think they don't care. I would have given 1 star but they guy changed our car battery was good and friendly. They should welcome customer in a good way. They need to improve

Although i did not buy anything there i just want to recommend the place.Guys in there were so much helpful and knowledgeable that i couldn't compare them to any other Auto Shop.I went to a couple of Auto Zones Location before and NON of them were able to find where the color of the car is shown, but they did that in a second.So just wanted to say thank you for the help and keep a good job guys)))

I love the staff at this store. They were so helpful after my transmission lines failed. I definitely recommend this location for acute and friendly help.

We went in for air filters. While the staff was helpful, their prices were higher than the dealer would have charged with installation.

I always buy my parts at Advance Auto Parts because they always have the best price. Of course I shop around by using the internet, but I always end up buying from them. They always seem to have what I need in stock and if they don't I can usually have it by 4 o'clock,or the next morning. You can't go wrong with Advance Auto.

Great auto and the gears rotate clockwise instead of counterclockwise now so that's always productive since the gears on the shaft ride higher when you go about 55 ideally if you know what you're doing you can avoid that if you go in there and get some castor oil talk to Jimmy he'll set you up

Just went in to see if the staff could help me use the scan tool and to buy some parts for my car. The staff told my husband quote "I'm not going out there in that mess" (because of the snow) and refused to help. We left and went to the Auto Zone down the road on Hintz, the woman was very helpful. Advanced Auto parts missed out on a $300 sale because of their very rude and unhelpful staff. I would reccomend the Auto Zone instead.

I went in looking for pressure washer accessories but there are not much available. Also looked for car detailing supplies, but not a lot variety and specialized brand are not there such as CarPro, Gyeon etc.

Both men I interacted with were completely unhelpful. I needed fender clips but didn't have an old one to compare it to, so they guy said "I have no way to look it up", and walked away. So after I bought the wrong one and then went to return it for a different clip, the other guy didn't know how to work the register to complete a return for a new product. It's a shame since this store is so close to my house, but I'll find a different one to go to from now on.

Horrible experience. made a purchase and cashier tried to short me $10 from a return and when i confronted her she gave me bad attitude and even instulted me. it toom her to count her drawer to realize she mad a mistake. I will never go back. The cashier was a women and very rude!

They have no clue how to warranty a faulty part if you ordered it online and picked it up. Even with the original receipt. Normally I like this location, but I was there for over 1/2 hour for what should have been a quick exchange.

Horrible experience. I waited in line for a half hour just for an OBD reading when there was nobody else in line! I wasted my whole break on this because the employees at this location know nothing about customer service. Very upset with the lack of care and attention! Can't wait for o Reilly to be open!

This store not only saved me tens but hundreds of dollars. I think Dave or David helped me out. I have a 96 accord with 160k miles. As expected engine light was on. All other auto shop suggested to change catalytic convertor and oxygen sensor. Cost - $800. I went to the store and Dave said your odb2 code says system too lean and oxygen sensor is working fine. Try using fuel injector cleaner liquid and check out whether your problem is solved. I did as he suggested and within a week my engine light was off and I passed emission test today. Yuhooo!! My car is back on road safe and sound. My cost of fuel injector cleaner - $8.99. Ha ha can't be more happy and thanks for doing this for me. In the world of slick auto mechanics,you guys are a gem. You helped me to solve a real problem.
