I highly recommend The Auto Clinic to anyone. It's a family owned business. My husband normally works on our vehicles. Codes were showing up on my daughter's car that he preferred a skilled mechanic to work on. Called around and everybody else was a week out just to diagnose the car. Karen at The Auto Clinic said to bring it in and they would look at it right now. Madison went out and ran the diagnostic check on it. He was extremely knowledgeable and understanding. The owner, Greg, introduced himself. We also met Vern, the tech. All amazing people! Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Will definitely be taking vehicles back for any future automotive needs!

I needed a radiator replaced. The Auto Clinic was there to help! They explained everything for me before and after working on my car. They also provided shuttle service. Always nice to know where I can get good help, fast.

This is my 2nd time 1st was a major repair and then my oil changed. The place is clean, the people are very pleasant to talk. I was in and out and on my way after oil change. I will be going back

Had a tire blow out on the way to work, I called them when they opened they ordered me a tire and replaced it for me later that afternoon!! A+++++++ service, I ll be back. My go to place for all my regular maintenance needs!

We were temporarily staying at Heritage Harbor awaiting our new home to be ready. I had two situations that my car needed an emergency tow, lock out help, and a good tune up to drive across the country with toddlers. The staff is so courteous, honest, professional, timely, and communicative. I have not been in Ottawa long so finding someone you trust is difficult especially when you don't know anyone in the area that can refer you to someone reliable. I had a bad experience with another mechanic in Ottawa and called around for pricing on what actually needed to be fixed. This company was not only the least expensive but also the most courteous. Both gentlemen that I spoke with were very helpful and fixed exactly what I wanted fixed without trying to sell me more. They definitely have my business if ever needed in the future. I will absolutely recommend them to my friends and family.

I appreciate their professional manner, great communication and no "BS" way of explaining things. There are other good mechanics around town but I think I may have just found the best. The positives: they communicated well throughout the process, and allowed me to drop off and pick up my vehicle after hours. Their prices were also fair.The negatives: they replaced an oil cooler line and unplugged the circuit for my cam shaft sensor in the process. Didn t plug it back in, causing my truck to take forever to turn over and to add another code to the two I already had when I took it there. I asked specifically if it started normally. They said yes. It did not. Took it to a mechanic friend of mine and the only problem was that it was unplugged, thank god, but it was careless. Gave my truck back without returning all of the things they had to move to their original state, lied about my starter functioning properly, and handed it back with the check engine light still on, for a new problem they created. Needless to say, I was very frustrated after spending $1800 on three different problems there.Not to mention, both times I picked my truck up, it reeked of cigarettes. I don t smoke. VERY unprofessional. Will not be returning.Services: Engine repair, Oil change

Brought my vehicle in for what originally was thought to be a fairly simple repair. It turned out to be much longer and more difficult than expected. The auto clinic kept me updated the whole time and insisted on the vehicle running perfect and being right before returning it. Awesome guys and awesome shop. The best people. If they don't fix it properly or can't fix themselves they always do their best to figure it all out. They have taken me through things so I understood what was wrong and are great help over the phone. Only ever the best experience with them and have no ego unlike almost all other shops. I picked up my friends motorcycle after he had an accident, tow truck driver was very concerned and caring. They went out of their way to call my friend at the hospital. We went to pick the bike up they were professional and courteous. 10 stars! Job well done and thank you!

Professional service with great prices. I needed new tires and heat shields replaced. Was able to run in so they could see exactly what I needed. Turn around was quick from ordering to getting an appointment to get everything fixed. Will definitely be back for future services!

I took my car into the Auto Clinic several years ago for the first time. I was very impressed with their knowledge and skill sets. I have since made them my first and only choice for service work ranging from an oil change all the way up to an engine change. They listen. A rare quality in any service based business.

Hope you have a lawyer on retainer if you go here. Forced to play phone tag over a month due to an issue caused by one of their technicians. It's just a "coincidence" when they mess up. Never using this business again. Bring a car here at your own riskEdit: No responsibility for a mistake that ONLY could have happened in their care. If I bring my still drivable car in for steering to be fixed and it's given back to me in state that can't even be driven even a child could make the connection. In fact, another more reputable repair place found and fixed the issue for free and now the car runs much better!Service: Steering & suspension repair

Absolutely amazing and helpful. I had been on the side of I-80 for 4-ish hours waiting for Jonny's towing to come out, got sick of waiting in the dark and cold for them so called another place. I'm so glad I called the Auto Clinic.They told me it should be 20 minutes to half an hour before they would get to me, and got there in maybe 15 minutes. The driver, Greg, was super nice and felt awful that I was waiting for as long as I was and took me to where I needed. The pricing is reasonable, and again they were super fast and kind.Totally happy with them, if you need a tow please call them. They'll be there faster than they say they will.

We took our car for a thumping noise, we paid auto clinic 5000.00$ and after 9 days in and out of their shop, after all that money the car was still not fixed, we were then told it was the transmission, we refused to give them anymore money, we took it to the Ford dealer and there was nothing wrong with the transmission,that cost us another 1000.00 $ and then auto clinic refused to honor the warranty on the parts they had put in the car, so we are out all of that money and the car still is not fixed, long story short, be very careful about local businesses and the services they provide.

Over 2 years of service no real problem until 2020My car was towed to their lot and I waited for diagnostic. Repairs were too expensive so decided to junk. They said they would call when they had my car junked by a 3rd party and I'll get paid for the scrap.They called me saying they had an envelope waiting with my name on it. I go there and they tell me they don't have any envelopes waiting for anyone.I still have not received $200 for the junk and they apparently don't check IDs or require receipts. But they are adamant they I've already been paid.UnprofessionalWould not suggest
