I had a major issue with my boat trailer breaking down today just off I-80. I was stranded and couldn t go anywhere. I found S&K on line and gave them a call to see if they could help. I spoke with Steve and he stated that they deal with semi truck trailers, not boat trailers. I asked if he might know of anywhere that might be able to help me out. He thought about it a minute and said you know what, I can be there in about an hour. Steve came out assessed my issues, left got the parts and came back and fixed my trailer and got me back on the road at a reasonable price. I am forever grateful. A-1 service. He went above and beyond to help me out in a major jam even though that s not the business he s in. Steve, I appreciate all your help.

If you have the misfortune of breaking down, Steve is the guy to call. Our breakdown was beyond what Steve could repair on the side of the road, but he was very helpful in recommending a good towing service and repair shop. Grateful he made the trip out to assess the issue in such a remote area of Hwy 80

Very professional, very quick and very affordable. Fair prices. They helped us quick and we were able to get rolling. Truck broke down on the highway, major antifreeze leak. We are a mid size trucking company from South Jersey. Thank you, S&K truck repair!!!

Steve was awesome there in a reasonable time and really had a electrical gremlin to chase and he was persistent on helping me knowing I was 7 hours from home. After much wire chasing and diag he found the starter actually just got stuck and got it freed up. Super friendly and actually listens to your input and explains what he is doing and what he did to find the issue.Service: Electrical

Roadside assistance was called out to replace a coolant hose fitting that was broken when he got there he broke the other hose fitting then tried to rig it up when that didn't work I was forced to call a tow truck and have the unit towed to the TA . He had no clue how to repair it and still charged 520.00 for nothing they are only good for changing mud flaps and delivering fuel to drivers and leave the repairs to the real mechanic these guys are no good. Update mechanic called me yesterday after reading reviews asking me to take down my reviews and I refuse to I also had witnesses to verify my reviews who knew the mechanic had no clue of what to do also is Roadside assistance not to repair the truck on site or not. Mechanic is only good for delivering fuel and changing car tires. Do your homework before hiring. Also driver is a hhg driver customer would have called back on the driver if he was under the influence of anything. I have proof that the mechanic was only a tire changer and no mechanic. Thanks

Rig went down on scorching Friday night on I 80. I figured all road side service mechanics would be out on their yachts, chasing women and drinking cold brews. NOT THIS GUY! One of the guys over at S&K showed up promptly. In full mechanic gear ready to get the job done and send my sun burnt ass on my way! As soon as he showed up I knew he meant business. The truck was hot and so was I. He even gave me a cold bottle of water out of his own cooler! Best service I've ever seen in central illinois! Thanks again bud!

They are not honest people rip you all off anyway possible charge $100 an hour just killing time I called in road service told me to charge you hundred dollars at the end they charge $125 that s how they Making they re leaving
