This review specifically pertains to the car wash/detailing portion of the business. If I could give this zero stars, I would. Long story short: avoid this business at all costs. I paid them nearly $200 for my car to look WORSE than it did before and for all of my personal items to not be returned to me.When I took my car to get detailed, it was relatively clean to begin with so I was excited to get it looking like it was fresh off the lot. My mother purchased the most expensive package ($189) for me as a gift, so that was what I had done.When I went to pick my car up, it initially looked fine. I also felt a bit awkward inspecting it while the guy who detailed it was in the room, so I didn't look too closely. I told him it was fine, got in and started driving. Immediately, I noticed that there were issues. I couldn't even touch the steering wheel because it was so greasy from whatever cheap stuff he smeared all over my dash and steering wheel. He didn't even bother to clean/vaccuum the area between the front seats and console. There were still a few dog hairs in the back seats. The bird poop spot on my sunroof was still there, which tells me that he probably just drove it through the automatic wash because that's easier. The windshield and windows were cleaned by rags, not a squeegee, so they were incredibly streaky. My dad cleaned them for me when I got home. The biggest problem was that my car seats were completely soaked. Even after 16 hours of drying time, I needed a towel to sit down. Because of all the moisture, my windows and windshield were super foggy. Not to mention, there could be mold growing in my car now. Who knows?It gets better, though. The day after, I opened the trunk because I thought that any stuff that he had moved would be in there. Nah. So I called multiple times (during their listed business hours), but no one answered and there was no way to leave a voicemail. The website said they were open, so I drove over there because I though maybe they were just too busy working to answer the phone. I had to leave to drive back to college later that day, and needed my stuff (ice scraper, iPass, sunglasses, personal items). They weren't open. Okay. I called the next day and asked for the owner. Apparently the owner of the detailing portion is basically never there, so we played phone tag for a week. I ended up just talking to Jody (I think), who is the owner of the mechanic portion. He was very nice, and I asked him if he would ship my items to school since it is a drive and I don't have time to come and get it. He agreed, so hopefully I get my stuff in the mail soon.If I sound mad, it's because I am. This business is run so unprofessionally and I feel like I would've been better off just taking my $200 and setting it on fire.

Shop owner is highly aggressive and unprofessional. While attempting to drop a vehicle off where she instructed it to be. Apparently she changed her mind as she ripped Keys out of my hand then shoved me all while she was screaming as if she belongs in a psychiatric ward! She kept approaching with full aggression. NEVER have I had an encounter like this with any other shop! STAY AWAY this owner is very unhappy and really shows it! I can just imagine how she would treat her own employees.

Awesome experience! A routine service was a pleasure. They had me in and out in no time and the manager Irene was very nice and welcoming. I'll definitely be going back!

$ 9 for just washing off a car and not scrubbing off bugs isn't good, Don't waste your time or effort, better off going elsewhere!

The shop is under new management and the service is 100% better. Also Jackson The mechanic is back. Took my Jeep back in for a full front and back break job. Excellent work. My husband and I have been bringing our cars here for a few years now. We have a mechanic in the family, but he isn t conveniently close. I love having this place less than a mile from home for maintenance on our vehicles as well as trustworthy and friendly customer service. Jody has been up front and helpful since the first day I walked in, always going an extra mile. We really feel treated like family here, and recommend them often to others. Having a knowledgeable and honest mechanic nearby is priceless. Jody is really the shining star of this establishment and has made customers for life of myself and my husband. Thank you so much for always going above and beyond.

Awesome experience from start to finish. Had to get some repairs made before a lease return on my vehicle and they pushed nothing on me yet provided extremely helpful suggestions based on what the car company usually looks for at return. The work was top notch. Like I almost want to keep the car because it looks newer and shinier than it did on day of delivery, top notch. On time, very responsive, actually came in under budget and answered all of my questions.Each interaction I had with the team - from the owners to the receptionists to the service techs -- was positive, I'd definitely recommend Splash Car Wash and Auto Repair shop for anyone with repair needs. I went to my dealership for oil change and they told me that my rear brakes needed to be replaced very soon. But as we all know, dealerships can't be trusted. So I needed a second opinion from another mechanic. My trusted mechanic, whom I've been going to for about 5 years, wasn't able to look at my brakes today so I had to find another local mechanic near me to give me a peace of mind until I have the money to fix them. I called the place and Joel or Joseph (if I spell his name right, i apologize if I don't) told me that they offer free brake inspection. When I arrived, he was very kind, quick, and gave me an excellent customer service, which I never received from any other car places before.I would actually come back here when I need another service for my car. From what I read from the reviews and from what I experienced, I can trust them with my car. It's hard to find a trusted mechanic. I would give this place more than 5 stars out of 5.Service: Brakes

Jody and his crew always take good care of me. I started using them when I moved to Oswego over 20yrs ago. When I moved out to Millington (20mi away) in 07 I started using someone closer. Before long I grew increasingly dissatisfied with the turnover rate and the lack of peace of mind that brings with at local big box chain service locations. Around 5 years ago I decided to check back and was pleased when they quoted me a very reasonable price for an oil service on my new 07 Mercedes. The deal was truly unbeatable when I opted for the upgrade on my free full service wash. Speaking of full service washes I don t care how it s marketed, nothing beats full service vacuuming AND hand cleaned windows and hand (cloth) drying as compared to fully automated services of similar pricing!(YES! They even do service for several foreign models just be sure to call ahead to confirm your specific foreign make, model and year -sometimes they may ask you to pick up a filter if they don t have one in stock in order to save any ordering delays)Service: Oil change

These guys rock! First and foremost they put the customer experience and customer service at the center of everything they do; from your first interaction with them, to their staff and top notch facilities. They also understand what needs to be done to keep your car safe and protect your investment. They perform their estimates with integrity and cost consciousness in mind. Their services are almost always delivered on time or early, at or under the estimate, and with a nice wash to your car. Finally they are a locally owned family business; great people run/own the business with outstanding integrity and business/personal values. Highly Recommend for your auto repair and body shop needs!

I ve been a loyal customer to this business since 2013. Giving 5 stars solely because of the Manager of this business, Jody. He is one of the most down-to-earth and considerate individuals I ve came across in my life. There has been numerous times I ve been in a bind or needed some work done in a timely manner. He always pulls through and takes care of you. If it weren t for him, I wouldn t come here.I went to MIDAS recently to get my exhaust system checked (it s free and close to my house, planned to go to I&J/Splash for the repair regardless) because my Hyundai needs the flex pipe welded from time to time and MIDAS told me that my entire exhaust system needed to be replaced because the pipe to my gasket under my manifold was cracked and my flex pipe was shot. They quoted me a minimum of $1,800 even though my manifold was under warranty and I told them that. So I played along and told MIDAS I couldn t afford that and they said I should consider a new vehicle and junking that one. I called Jody to verify my manifold was under warranty and told him what was going on. He said come on over and we ll get it done today before we close. So, I got over there around 11am and he told me what I NEEDED to be fixed which WASN T replacing my entire exhaust system. Jody is honest. He ll tell you what you need to fix, not what they want to fix to take your money. You re the man, Jody.Services: Exhaust, General repairs & maintenance, Brake service & repair, Oil change

May: Fantastic! My PT needed a new gas pump and straps, they got it done in 8 hrs and now free car wash too! Owner was very kind, I enjoyed the energy he has. This will be my primary source for car repairs!July: Above and beyond. Few hour fix to get the cooling clamp replaced, oil changed, even did extras he didn't need to do but did! Going and got to work on time without using an uber. These guys are THE best!

I have been getting all of our vehicle repairs done here for over 10 years. I was given a high quote at another local shop. I stopped in at II&J Automotive and spoke to Jody who said he could fix my vehicle for much cheaper than the other quote I was given. After leaving the vehicle to get repaired I returned home. Shortly later the phone rang and it was Jody. Jody told me that the other business misdiagnosed my repair and that he could fix my vehicle for even cheaper than he had thought! I was shocked after reviewing the phone call and saving hundreds of dollars! Jody and Jackson are fixing my father in laws power steering today and once again saving us $$$. They have always done great work on our vehicles!!! We have always been very pleased and will continue to come back!Service: Steering & suspension repair

I went in for a routine oil change. They had fast friendly service service. The big guy who was there oil tech was super friendly and did a great job and informed me about why my car was starting so ruff. The manager Jody and mechanic Jackson did a throttle body cleaning on my car and now it starts and runs flawlessly. They even gave me a great price since they knew i was just laid off. AWESOME PEOPLE!!!

So I've been going here for oil changes and car washes for 15 years. Staff have always been great, washes always perfect. I still driver the 45 minutes to get my car washed here. Sure the interior is old but clean. Never had a dirty waiting room any complaints have been dealt with quickly. Love this place.

Splash car wash and repair has by far exceeded my expectations. They are not only affordable, but speedy to. I haven't been to a more customer friendly car wash in several years. I was able to go in and out of their repair shop, courtesy of their expertise in the line of work. I would recommend this place 100 time over!

Came in for an oil change, the owner was helping me and was amazingly kind and helpful the whole time. He took me into the bay and showed me every step, introduced the technician, and even showed me how to fill my tires and what pressure they should be at. My oil change also came with a free wash and vacuum! Couldn t recommend enough, will definitely be back!

I gave them 4 chances to fix my car. I took it in for a wheel bearing. The sound was worse when I left. Then I was told it was fixed and was not making noise. I may not know cars but i can certainly hear. The manager said he would personally look at it. Took it back and claimed he fixed it.He made excuses and never took responsibility. He even blamed it on a 'faulty part from china.' One of the mechanics there told me not to come back and to have someone else work on my car. He was actually looking out for me and didn't agree with how I was treated. When I called the ownerr he yelled over me. He would not let me get a word in. The. He hung up on me. I had a dealership fix what they messed up. I tried asking for a refund after spending over a grand for them to ruin jy car and the dealership who fixed my car confirmed l&j messed it up. Again very unprofessional. I have messages from the manager saying inappropriate things to me. When I messaged him he blocked me.Services: Brakes, Oil change

I just moved to town a week ago. My rear tail-lights went out!! The owner, Joe was incredibly kind and was genuinely concerned about me being safe. I had a lot of work to do, so Joe even gave me a ride home while Jody and Jackson fixed my car. These guys are AMAZING and FUN!!! They even have a MASSAGE CHAIR in the waiting room!!! A++++ business!!!

AWESOME. I have an AMG Mercedes and these guys provided excellent service. I was told what was to be replaced and was told WHY, (which a lot of places don't do), given an accurate quote, and the repairs were completed in a timely fashion. I don't really need to rush my repair as I have another vehicle, but it is nice that they were able to get it done the next day. I'm pretty sure they could have had it done the same day if I needed it. In fact, they actually got me in the day before I technically had an appointment so they did get it done 'same day' if you want to look at it like that! They are 5 stars all the way!

My brakes were worsening quickly just before an important meeting I couldn't reschedule, but the pedal went down almost to the floor, so I came here to get a quick diagnosis. After some time, they found it would take two more hours to fix everything, but I needed my car right away. The loaner vehicle was loaned out, and I couldn't wait for a cab. To my surprise, the owner insisted I take his own personal vehicle to get there and back, at no charge! The mechanics here have always been honest and generous and this is just one of the many times they've done extra for me and my family. These are seriously the good local guys you hope to find wherever you live.

If you want an honest mechanic that s conservative and respectful then this is the shop for you! My guy is Jody and I ve only been twice but every trip I left not only with my car fixed but a piece of mind! My boys really enjoyed him as well! So if you have children bring them as well. I usually don t write reviews but this was worth my time to write!!!!!

I have taken my car here a few times and manager Jody is terrific! He is from the old school putting customers first! I will come here as long as Jody is. He knows what he is talking about plus he knows what he is doing. Mechanic Jackson knows what he is doing as well! They have a very good team here, stop in and see the difference and tell them Casey sent you!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! My family has taken out cars there for years and stayed with them even when the new owner took over because he seemed friendly enough and it was a good price. Recently they did an oil change for my dad and didn't put the oil filter on correctly, his oil filter fell off of his engine and killed it. They refuse to take care of it and then claimed they didn't do it. They then proceeded to swear and yell at him when he requested they pay for repairs incurred from their negligence. The morale, TAKE YOUR CAR ANYWHERE ELSE, they might seem nice and friendly when you're giving them money, but the second they screw up don't expect it to get fixed, even if you've loyally been giving them business since they took over ownership.Service: Oil change

The only clean part of the car was the outside, even though the Full Service Wash that we purchased says it includes vacuuming, dash board and inside door wipe-downs. The dash, doors, floor, and seats were still plenty dirty. The guy at the counter was money-hungry and wanted to charge us an extra $5 for a more thorough vacuuming. Will not go back to this one.

I work in a team environment and frequently give and seek feedback as a leader. Splash Carwash & Auto Service has amazing body associates, experienced mechanics and a customer focused attitude where they have met and exceeded my expectations. They are transparent with their work and can show their clients the issues with the vehicle and work FOR and WITH the customer.There are others competitors in the market but their competitive advantage is their quality, attention to detail and experience in the luxury car market space as well as all other manufacturers.Splash, I wish you nothing but the best of success !

The bottom flap on my car was dragging rain and snow caused it. He fixed my car so fast and was so reasonable in price and close to home. Highly recommend this shop. Will be returning for my car needs. Such a blessing!

If you're looking for an honest mechanic in Boulder Hill, Jody at I&J is your guy. If your mechanically inclined but need a second look at you car, bring it here. They'll talk you through every aspect of what they're working on and why they're doing what they're doing. They're happy to talk about anything going on under the hood and all at a fair price.
